Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@Pandamama88 - Urgh, yes!.My early sickness seems to have eased and been replaced by painful nipples, insomnia and the return of my IBS. Great fun! Also seem to be getting quite a lot of cramp, but no blood or spotting at all. I spoke to the (also pregnant) clinician at my GP surgery and she said it's completely normal as your uterus is expanding and getting stronger. She had quite a lot early on and was fine. It's keeping me on edge for sure, but I keep trying to tell myself it's a good thing as it means my body is doing what it needs to.

rathernotshare · 06/10/2021 14:54

I'm very crampy, I'm thankful to WFH otherwise I'd be running to the loo every five minutes to check my knickers

Pandamama88 · 06/10/2021 15:10

Thanks

Pandamama88 · 06/10/2021 15:14

I've also been having cramps but no blood. Plus IBS flair ups to boot. I'm getting a private (£70) early scan at 8 weeks which is a good idea if you can afford it. You can get it done as early as 6 weeks. It could be reassuring.

Hi everyone, tentatively joining after a miscarriage in July I found out this week I’m pregnant again! We shall see Smile

Coco90 · 06/10/2021 18:40

@Chloesen90 amazing! So lovely that we are the same date. I think I seen a few others are too! We can all keep in contact on here.

I’m only 4 weeks, but your emotional today but have had a very stressful day at work, so not sure if I’m milking it already lol or if it’s the hormones.

I have a very close relationship with my mum (and dad) so plan on telling them this weekend. And DH then wants to tell his parents but that’s all we’ll be telling for a while.

Coco90 · 06/10/2021 18:41

I’m*

PartyPotato · 06/10/2021 19:30

People who already have a child and are on subsequent pregnancies, does anyone else feel a bit…. disconnected? I’m happy I’m pregnant but I have given no thought whatsoever to my future child! I’m just like ok I’m pregnant don’t need to try anymore... Urgh I feel sick… Anyway carry on with life as normal!
Don’t think I’ll actually realise that there’s another one of my children in there until I have a scan and see it!
I’m sure it will hit home this weekend when I realise I can’t enjoy a nice bottle of red 😂😂

jun2022 · 06/10/2021 19:41

Took a test last week and looks like I'll be due 1st June. First pregnancy, feeling so nauseous, exhausted and can't face much food! The smell of the strangest things is turning my stomach, like the laundry! Have a dr appointment beginning of November and thinking I'll book an early private scan as it seems so long to wait for 12 weeks

Tofu35 · 06/10/2021 22:40

Ugh told my in-laws tonight because husband really wanted to tell his mum. She was delighted and understood it was early days so we were being very cautious and not telling anyone yet. His dad goes "oh no, I'll definitely end up telling someone. I'll forget this is a big secret". Well you better remember!!!Angry

Clomid1 · 07/10/2021 07:02

@Tofu35 hopefully he just thought he was funny 😅

When do the mild period like cramps go away?

Equimum · 07/10/2021 08:26

Can I tentatively jump on please? I've calculated a due date around 1st June, but Imm super nervous following a miscarriage and chemical pregnancy already this year. I'm quite old, so fear it'll happen again, but just taking things day-by-day. I'm not currently feeling super sick, but do have sore nipples and insomnia, so hoping they're a good sign.

TinyTickler · 07/10/2021 10:04

@PartyPotato yes 100%. First time round I was in like an excited bubble and wanted to tell everyone, this time I'm very meh. I would put it down to previous miscarriage but I felt them same then.

PartyPotato · 07/10/2021 10:28

@TinyTickler I’m sad that it doesn’t feel new and exciting anymore! I’m sure it will once I have a scan and start telling people.

Clomid1 · 07/10/2021 12:35

@Equimum congratulations. Completely understand the fear. I’m the same. Trying to take it a day at a time

Vimto1991 · 07/10/2021 13:36

Hi everyone! 4 weeks here, due June 14th. Took a pregnancy test last week (okay maybe like seven), including a CB dating which showed 2-3weeks which was very confusing.
Today I’ve been very emotional, just cried into DH as been reading the comments on how many people here have MC, and I’m terrified of that happening to us!!
Symptoms so far have been bloating, nausea, sensitive nipples, cramping and getting emotional!
I’ve been getting a pain in my side and pain in my shoulder that I’m praying is not eptopic. I think I would know if it was because it’d be more severe than me just sat here saying so.
Just need to cross my fingers until that 12 week mark!! What a long wait that is! Shock I’m thinking about going private for an 8 week scan just to check up on the little poppy seed.

PartyPotato · 07/10/2021 13:56

@Vimto1991 Congratulations on your lovely news. It’s sooo normal to have all this anxiety! I know I did. Right now your mind is making your hyper aware of every little feeling- if it was an ectopic you’d know about it even before the shoulder pain!
I’m def having an early scan too, 12 weeks is too long to wait 😁

Pandamama88 · 07/10/2021 14:04

Maybe let your midwife know about the worry it could be ectopic. Better safe than sorry. I'm getting an early scan too.

Coco90 · 07/10/2021 14:04

Hi @Vimto1991 I feel everything you’ve just said lol! I’m due 16th June. Haven’t done a CB dating test yet but will this week. I haven’t had nausea yet but lots of cramping and very emotional last night & today. I agree it is so sad to read a lot about MC’s and I’m really scared about it, but it’s a good thing we are so aware of these things and we’ve got a lovely network on here of likeminded women ❤️. I’m also debating an early scan as 12 weeks feels like such a long time with nothing. Have you told your GP yet?

Vimto1991 · 07/10/2021 14:12

Thanks everyone!! :)

I’ve told the GP who recommend folic and vitamin D, but I don’t have a midwife yet as my GP said I need to set things up when I’m 8 weeks pregnant and not before, as the hospital that takes in my area doesn’t do self referrals :(
I’ve been getting the pain in my side since the first day of a weird period I had at the start of last month, and it was in my head that perhaps that was the start of it all and I’m further along than I think, but I’m probably over thinking things as normal as I took a test before my positive one a few days before and that was negative.

I’ve just booked a private scan at 8 weeks which was only £45 so totally worth it! Even if it just looks like a blob I want to make sure it’s okay.

Least it’s not just me in the anxiety boat, lol 😅 I’d say I can’t wait to enjoy and not worry, but even my friend due next month still worries!

rathernotshare · 07/10/2021 14:29

Hi @Vimto1991 congrats! I'm also super nervous, we've been trying for 2 years and this is our first pregnancy so super mega nervous seeing how common losses are. I'm booking a scan for 8 weeks , £70 here though 😳 also cramping quite a lot, I have no idea what to expect really

Vimto1991 · 07/10/2021 14:33

Congrats!! Hopefully our nerves fade at some point! One of the scans was £90 and I saw another in the area for £45, so it really must depend on the business, either way I think it’s worth it for the reassurance. :) I do wish the NHS get involved in these scary first few weeks!
This is our first but this was the first proper month we had tried, almost feels too good to be true, but my DH said we are allowed to have a bit of luck sometimes!!

Equimum · 07/10/2021 14:52

Try not to worry Vimto1991. Although miscarriage is common, you are far more likely to have a successful pregnancy than not. Just keep an eye on that pain, and if it gets worse, let someone know.

I keep randomly crying today, and feel totally wiped. I don't think the weather is helping - it's properly grey here.

Clomid1 · 07/10/2021 15:45

@Vimto1991 firstly I think we might be the same age based on the 1991 in your username 😁 is this your first?

Also where did you book your scan all of the ones I can see are £80 😅.

Vimto1991 · 07/10/2021 15:51

@equimum thank you, that helped calm my nerves. It is a bit to a miserable day (although I prefer rain to sun). I’ve cried a few times today 😅

@Clomid1 a place called Nu Gen in the West Midlands!! No idea how it’s half the price because it seems to do the same as everyone else. :o
