Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@rathernotshare I’m not excusing his behaviour but could he be getting defensive because he can’t believe it’s actually really happening?
Why does he not believe you’re 4 weeks? Does he not understand how it works?
I had to explain it to DH as well, not because he didn’t believe me but he was just wondering why they date it from the first day of your last period. So I explained that it was all just a guesstimate at first because everyone ovulates and implants at different times.

Coco90 · 05/10/2021 21:33

Hi everyone and congratulations 💕 looks like I’m due 16th June! My first pregnancy, very nervous as I’ve been very crampy the last 2 days. Hope everyone is doing okay

rathernotshare · 05/10/2021 21:34

@PartyPotato I think that's what's happening to be honest! I did explain the weeks thing and he just says I'm lying, he won't look it up, and is continuing to say I'm 2 weeks pregnant 🙄

Chloesen90 · 05/10/2021 21:36

@Coco90 I'm due 16th as well :) I've been having cramps all week and last week. The were worse today though! It's our uterus starting to expand apparently

PartyPotato · 05/10/2021 21:36

@rathernotshare saying that you’re ‘lying’ is very different to just not understanding 😕

PartyPotato · 05/10/2021 21:48

Urgh evening sickness 😔

Ilovechocolatecoins · 05/10/2021 22:41

@ttcally19 how are you doing? I have been feeling so tired and nauseous. Have you got your hospital date yet?

Tofu35 · 05/10/2021 22:43

@rathernotshare I'm a petty cow, so I would start practicing my "oh no waaaay" reaction when the midwife tells you the same info you already know about how far gone you are.

rathernotshare · 06/10/2021 06:52

@Tofu35 I think it's only annoyed me so much as I have no one else to talk to about it! My mum would kill to hear about the pregnancy of her first grandchild, but she'll have to wait 🥲

mrsmop21 · 06/10/2021 08:43

Hi can I join? EDD 18th June, this is my second baby, DS1 is nearly 17 months

Tofu35 · 06/10/2021 08:54

@rathernotshare when are you planning on telling your mum? Are you waiting until you have had your scan or telling a wee bit before?

rathernotshare · 06/10/2021 08:58

@Tofu35 I won't see her again until Xmas eve so was planning to tell her then, long wait though. Be 16 weeks by then

Clomid1 · 06/10/2021 09:02

@rathernotshare I think men have a different way of being excited that they don’t show us. My husband keeps telling me to not get ahead of myself. It’s like why are you not more excited, i think he is as its taken so long to get here but he’s just hiding his excitement

Tofu35 · 06/10/2021 09:15

Christmas countdown taking on two very different meanings this year for you @rathernotshare! Hopefully by then all these first trimester joys (tiredness, nausea, food aversions, whatever else) will be in the past and you can enjoy celebrating your lovely news with her.

Tofu35 · 06/10/2021 09:16

@clomid1 I'm definitely saying to my husband "take it one day at a time, let's not get ahead of ourselves" after 2 years unexplained infertility. But at the same time I'm on looking at tiny baby clothes and maternity outfits!

TinyTickler · 06/10/2021 10:20

I'm driving myself mad symptom spotting. I'm not nauseas and boobs are swollen but not sore and I can't remember properly but I'm sure I had more symptoms by this tine with my daughter and our last baby which I lost. Don't another test today and the test live is waaay darker than the control which is giving me some comfort. I'm 5 weeks today.

Have started making a symptom list week by week so at least if it goes wrong again I can at least compare symptoms next time.

Have emailed to book in with the midwife in the hope she can help ease the anxiety a little.

rathernotshare · 06/10/2021 11:59

@Clomid1 I think he's gone into a mild panic! I hope he is excited but I don't think he will be until the first scan

I've got a blood test at 5+3 to see if I've got factor v Leiden. Apparently I was meant to book it before I got pregnant, whoops

caz198917 · 06/10/2021 12:04

5 weeks 1 day and got my dye stealer. It feels like I've been pregnant for ages already! 🙈 I found out at 9 dpo. Only symptom is sore boobs. I remember feeling sick as a dog after 6 weeks with my first so I suppose I got that delight to look forward to soon. Telling my best friend this weekend who is due in February with this little present. Haven't told anyone else yet. Is anyone sharing the news with close friends and family yet? Xx

@caz198917 congratulations!
I’m going to book an early scan for about 8/9 weeks and then maybe tell one or two people. But I’ll tell the majority at 12 weeks. Just makes it feel a bit safer!

Tofu35 · 06/10/2021 12:28

Aww @caz198917 that is the cutest way to tell your friend, I love it! I told my mum last weekend and tonight we're telling my in-laws but no one else so far. Can't wait to tell my sister, now I'll need to get her a "best auntie" type gift to tell her with! You've inspired me :)

Clomid1 · 06/10/2021 12:58

I’m only 4 weeks but I told my mum and two friends who have watched me struggle through infertility and kept me sane throughout. Will let my husband tell my mother in law soon but he wants to tell his sister and cousins and I find its too early for that.

rathernotshare · 06/10/2021 13:00

Congratulations @caz198917 !

I'm dying to tell my best mate but she is closely linked to my parents and I don't want them finding out by accident! I can trust her but I expect she will tell her husband who has his own links to my parents haha. Small town dilemmas!

Coffeepants · 06/10/2021 13:19

I’ve not told anyone yet, had a CB on Monday that said 1-2 weeks, this means 4ish weeks right? It’s been 5ish years so I’m completely out of the loop. It’s my partners birthday next week so trying to hold out until then but it’s killing me! Anyone else here having a third?

Pandamama88 · 06/10/2021 14:27

Anyone else getting cramps but no blood? I'm 6 weeks and being pregnant has made my IBS flair up. Sitting on the loo in the middle of the night is getting old.

dramastic · 06/10/2021 14:42

Hi everyone! First time poster and first time mum to be!

I'm about 5-6 weeks now and I've been getting some noticeable cramps today, no bleeding. Feel like I'm coming down with a cold too and have a really sore throat, and so tired. Been looking online and through these posts which has made me feel better and that these are common symptoms but I can't help but worry. Anyone else similar today?
