Hi all,

My diet this pregnancy has been absolutely awful, just been eating a lot of carbs and sugar so I'm going to start fresh tomorrow and try to eat a bit healthier.

Today, on my (hopefully) last day of unhealthy eating i've had:
Breakfast : choc croissant and a decaf mocha
Lunch: Pasta with prawns
Snack: Lindor chocolate, a double chocolate chip cookie and some strawberry laces
Dinner will be takeaway of some sort, either pizza or chinese!

What have you all been eating? And if you have any healthy recipe ideas please share!

I’ve been wanting quite healthy food and especially pickled herring for some reason! Which sounds horrible but I love it.

Today I had a cup of decaf tea then normal English breakfast and overnight oats.
Lunch was out so venison with loads of veg and an ice cream
Melon and Parma ham for snack just now
Supper probably pasta with pesto

Today I've had:
Breakfast: cup of tea, 2 slices of toast with butter and honey
Lunch (which was quite soon after breakfast) protein chocolate smoothie- a scoop of vegan protein powder, half an avocado, a banana, 2 spoons of cacao powder and oat milk
Snack: decaf almond milk latte and granola slice
Dinner: chicken and butternut squash risotto
Snack: grapes, a pistachio and almond cookie and a mince pie

I've not been as good this time, but not too different to last time:

Breakfast: banana and porridge sachet made up with water not milk; or toast with peanut butter; or cereal like Cheerios or sultans bran.

Snacks: apple and/or two satsumas, portion of mixed nuts and raisins (I weigh out a recommended portion)

Lunch: a sandwich such as ham and mustard or beef on brown bread. Packet of crisps.

Snack: another packet of crisps 🙈

Dinner: usually something cooked with lots of vegetables like pasta or spaghetti bolognese, chilli, risotto, stir fry. Typical veg in most of our meals would be onion, pepper, courgette/aubergine, spinach, tomato.

I'm terrible for not drinking water, I basically drink exclusively decaff tea though so I certainly have enough fluids, just not water on its own.

Yesterday was a bit of a failure for healthy eating. I just needed all of the snacks!

Breakfast: cup of tea, 2 toasts with butter and honey
Lunch (ate out) sweet potato salad, chickpea and aubergine salad and coleslaw with chicken, bread and butter. A few bites of DHs cake
Snacks: a curly wurly, a special k bar, a grapefruit, a bag of sunbites crisps, a bag of minstrels and a cheese string
Dinner: tomato soup and cheese on crackers
Snacks: a mince pie, an apple, some grapes and a cookie

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast - bacon roll, decaf coffee

Lunch - homemade vegetable and lentil soup

Snack - galaxy ripple, apple, can of coke

Dinner - veggie enchiladas with homemade guacamole and salad

Today so far I've had a pain au chocolat and decaf coffee.
Definitely need to try and get more fruit in my diet.

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast - porridge with banana and jimjam's chocolate spread

Lunch - bacon, roasted tomato and avocado on sourdough eggy bread, and a slice of lemon drizzle cake

Snack - two slices of white toast with marmite and butter

Dinner - cottage pie with tender-stem broccoli and peas, a yogurt and a mince pie

Rather sweet treat heavy 🤫
