39 weeks here, how are you all staying sane during this time?
I feel so restless and impatient. Can't stop googling Labour symptoms and keep reading the same stuff over and over again.

Starting this one so I can read some new stories.

39+4 today and beyond fed up!
Hoping this baby makes an appearance real soon because I have just about had it... DC1 and DC2 both came along at 39 weeks, DC3 at 40+1. Genuinely hope it won't go beyond that!

It's so annoying isn't it! Trying to tell myself to enjoy the last moments as much as possible before the hard work begins
Hope things start happening for you soon!!

40+2 today! Still feeling mostly ok, not reached the I want it all over stage yet but feel like it won't be long now! I finished work 3 weeks ago, had a pregnancy massage and a spa break, have spent a lot of time sleeping/resting when I can and meeting friends for lunch and even chanced the cinema last night too! Both of my sisters went over with their first, one 10 days and the other 11 days so I have been prepared for a late one throughout. I have also made the choice not to have any sweeps yet or think about induction until I see the consultant again at 40+13. Booked for scan and monitoring at 40+10, if I get that far 😅

38 weeks here and having baby week 39 due to planned section. Literally cannot wait to get him out!! Been googling all night how to induce labour 😂 his movements are starting to be really annoying and painful ugh!

40+3 here and fed up 😭! I ended up at triage yesterday due to reduced movements, thankfully all fine but midwife attempted a sweep and couldn’t reach my cervix as baby’s head was in the way. Back in on Tuesday for monitoring and another sweep attempt and a plan for induction, baby just seems far too comfy in there 😴

Hi I’m 39+2 with dc3. I keep googling labour symptoms too, really silly as my other dd were both late. But this baby feels super low, feel like she is head butting me in the cervix sometimes! Getting some mild cramping every day but nothing more than that so far.

39+1 today with my first and just wanting to know when she'll come...tomorrow? Or 3 weeks time
My trust don't recommend sweeps and won't induce till 41+4....really hoping she comes naturally!

I'm 39+5... sweep booked for Wednesday when I will be 40+1. Strangely excited 😆 but yeah, same as you, just Googling everything in the meantime... good luck!!

40+3 and have had false labour every night for 3 nights 😤 I’m staying sane by walking, bouncing on my ball, making tasty food, relaxing in the bath & showering… still really fucked off though 😂😭

That was meant to say relaxing in the bath & sleeping! Although, showering is nice too I guess…

I'm 39+1 and relate to a lot of the above! I've thankfully not been too uncomfortable, but find it hard not knowing when things are going to kick off. Very weird not knowing when things will start the big event..

I'm in the same boat, 40+2 and over thinking every twinge hard to believe this baby will ever actually come out which sounds silly but true atm. The unknown details are the worst bit!

So another day nearly done.... maybe one of us will get a wake up call in the night!

It really is crazy just not knowing, and also knowing it could be any moment.

I keep overthinking every little twinge but I guess when it's real thing I really will know about it.

Same! I keep thinking I feel period style pains but then they go...!

I'm 39+4 and still waiting. Thankfully I'm still feeling comfortable but getting impatient now 😊

39+4 today. My waters broke around 10pm Saturday night and there's still no signs of baby! Had a pessary put in 6 hours ago but it's not had any effect yet.

I'm 39 weeks today. Absolutely no signs of anything. Still have long list of inane jobs to do like sort shoe rack and look at nurseries and have got lunches and nail appointments etc booked all week to take mind off things. Last night was super uncomfortable but am torn between wanting things to start and being scared of what is coming. Good luck everyone!

I'm 37+5 so not as far as most of you but already wishing every day is the day!! Got my second sweep today (started having them at 37 weeks as I'm booked for induction at 39). First one on Monday wasn't sucsessful! Hoping for some progression today, although I've literally not had a single cramp/tightening so I'm preparing myself for more of the same! Only 8 days until induction though! Hoping they go nice and fast. So ready to meet little one now!

@dirtyfries exciting! I hope everything runs smoothly for you and little one doesn't keep you waiting too long.

No signs for me over night. I haven't got much planned for the week so I might get a few lunches and park trips books on with DS1 to keep me busy!

4 and a bit weeks to go here. Reading these posts is making me feel like I have plenty of time but anything can happen really. I’d say I’m 80% prepared. Just the thought of the unknown keeps me awake sometimes like when will labour start and where will I be and will I make it to the hospital in good time etc

Quick update from me, I’m now booked in for an induction on Wednesday 😱! Terrified but also glad there’s now a deadline and an end in sight 😂 I was so uncomfortable through the night with braxton hicks and nausea when the hospital phoned this morning to offer an induction I bit her hand off! As much as I’d rather go naturally I don’t think I could cope with another week-10 days of pregnancy 😴

39+3 today.
No signs of anything at all. I've been booked for induction tomorrow but apparantly my area is massively busy for inductions and this means nothing, it may even be next week before I get called in for it. I'm hoping things can get going naturally first!

I have been for some acupuncture today but not getting any sort of feels so probably have no effect 😒
