There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

@hopeful234

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and found out we are pregnant when away last week. Very excited but so nervous. I had a lot of spotting and a couple of days heavier bleeding which I'm super worried about. That stopped for a week but I'm now getting a small amount of brown spotting when I wipe and mild stomach cramps. Anyone else had the same? Tests are still strong positive. GP has referred to the EPU because of the bleeding but she wasn't concerned because the tests were getting stronger. Based on my ovulation test I'm 5 weeks 3 days (I think). First pregnancy so it's all new to me!
Hey, hope your ok ā¤ļøfirst pregnancy too (4+6) and have been feeling similar cramping everyday on and off for about a week and the past 3 days spotting (light pink, one time darker and some cm). No other symptoms apart from bloating, naps and sore ish nipples. Trying to not get down a rabbit hole and overthink things. It's so overwhelming isn't it!! Wishing everyone happy and healthy bubba's in March (omg can't quite believe it!!) congrats everyone! Ps re vaccine think I'm going to wait until after 1st trimester to have the second

Hi, when I use the date of conception I get April 2nd 2022, I’m not 100% sure of the date of my last period so I’m just sticking with date of conception, still find it confusing though! I took a test that said ā€˜1-2 weeks’ but then based off my due date, the app I have says I’m 4 weeks today?!
I find it all very confusing too haha

Nervyy · 24/07/2021 11:21

Morning everyone, just looking for some views on early scans? Is anyone planning on getting a private one early or just waiting for the 12 week NHS scan?
I am tempted to book in for a private one just to ā€˜confirm’ everything but keen to know what everyone else thinks / is doing! :) x

I would love too but can't afford it, the closest groupon one is an hours drive so not worth it. I didn't last time but we did have a 16 week gender scan but they are a bit cheaper.

It crazy that you only get two scans through your whole
Pregnancy I feel they should do an 8 week one and one around 30 weeks.

Hi girls. Can I join please? I found out on Monday that I'm preg at 9dpo . I'm 4w today and based on conception I'm due 2nd of April.

This is DC2 for me. Ds is 4 and prior to him I had 1 MMC and 2 MC so as you can imagine I am absolutely terrified and so anxious. X

For digital tests you need to add 2 weeks to what it says on the screen as it dates based on hormone levels from conception date so that would make you 4 weeks 😃 I’m 4 + 2, due 31 March. Congratulations šŸŽ‰
Nervyy · 24/07/2021 11:58

@Bdbel hoping all the best for you ā¤ļø

Nervyy · 24/07/2021 12:01

@Bluebell88 thank you! Congratulations to you as well ā¤ļø Is this your first?

I find the dating very confusing as tests say one thing and the apps say another! It seems ridiculous that I was ā€˜pregnant’ 2 weeks before we actually had sex. If I am actually 4 weeks that is very exciting though as it means I am even closer to 12! A very nervous first timer so I can’t wait to have confirmation that everything is okay x

Nervyy · 24/07/2021 12:04

@L00byL0u the cost is a little high, but as it’s my first baby / pregnancy I am just so keen to know that everything is ticking over okay!
I don’t know if I’ll book in an early one just yet, but I am just trying to get others opinions etc :)

Yep, first time for me too, very exciting but anxious about it all too. I’ve booked a private scan for 8 weeks to confirm everything is ok as I don’t have the patience to wait 12 weeks!

The dating is very confusing, even more so for me as I ovulate later than the norm with an average 31 day cycle so dating from my last period puts me at 5 + 1, luckily I know when I ovulated so just need to add 2 weeks to that date for a more accurate dating.

Hi ladies! Jumping on!!! Think I am due around 25th March, 1st baby and I am 22. So exciting šŸ˜€šŸ˜€

Oh yea I completely get and would if I could but just don't think I can afford it otherwise I would.

Cheekymonkey3112 · 24/07/2021 12:10

@Bluebell88 I am the same in regards to ovulating later. I didn't ovulate until cd23 this month so according to my LMP I am 5+1 but from ovulation I am 4wk today x

We have very similar cycles, I ovulated CD21 😃 and I’m just 2 days ahead of you x

Cheekymonkey3112 · 24/07/2021 12:22

@bluebell88 aww fab!! Its so good to have someone that is in a similar situation. I am SO bloated and SO constipated šŸ˜„ x

šŸ˜‚ I’m just constantly needing to pee and completely exhausted at the moment, I’ve had to have naps in the middle of the day, luckily I’m still working from home, no idea how I’d cope if I was in the office x

Cheekymonkey3112 · 24/07/2021 12:53

@Bluebell88 hahaha! At least when you're at home it is easy to hide lol!

spookycookies · 24/07/2021 14:42

I'm not sure about early scans. I saw heartbeats and still lost two babies so not sure they'll reassure me that much. I might ask about an nhs one but last time my midwife said they didn't do reassurance scans at the time due to COVID. Might have changed now. Not sure I could get back in the scan chair again though.

Shad0w · 24/07/2021 14:46

Has anybody else had bleeding? It's really starting to worry me now. It's not a huge amount and is just when I wipe and the doctor on Thursday on the phone just asked me to phone if it didn't stop. Being out of hours I have rang 111 and just waiting for a call back from a clinician.

It's not got any heavier and is not all the time. Nothing in a pad/underwear. Just a small amount when I wipe after using the toilet

coconutcurls · 24/07/2021 15:02

Hi all,
Tentatively joining in here. My period is due this weekend but I've been having little niggles over the last week and so tested this afternoon once my LB was down for his nap and got a faint line. I would be due some time between 31st March and 5th April (my cycle lengths have been a bit odd since I came off the pill). My LB will be 2 in Feb 2022.

coles85 · 24/07/2021 15:38

Hello! Just tentatively joining as I've had a BFP this week. Cycles have been all over the place since coming off the pill so I've no idea how far along I am. Tests are showing pretty clear lines and my clear blue said 1-2 weeks (although I tested in the middle of the day which apparently isn't advised for accuracy - doh!). So I think I'm due late March or early April.

This will be DC number 2 for us Grin

PeachScone · 24/07/2021 16:42

Just got my appointments through the post for booking + for 12 week scan! Starting to feel almost real Grin

Cheekymonkey3112 · 24/07/2021 17:05

@coles85 how many dpo are you? I did a clearblue digital week indicator and got a 1-2 at 14dpo. Ugh! Just want the next 8 weeks to fly by!! X

Cheekymonkey3112 · 24/07/2021 17:05

@peachscone ohh that is so exciting!! X

coles85 · 24/07/2021 17:35

@Cheekymonkey3112 absolutely no idea how many DPO - I tested on CD 35 but my cycles have been all over the place so I really don't know which is frustrating!

Yes it's so easy to wish the weeks away isn't it!?
