There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Hi everyone, I’d love to join this train too! I am 32, first baby, only 3+5 today. I’m actually a bit nervy today because I’m due my period, so hopefully it doesn’t come! I have my first doctors apt tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy, although I have a good few tests that have already confirmed it for me Grin I am due end March/ beginning April!

Eden1990 · 18/07/2021 10:05

I know, but I did that with my last one and when I went for the scan the dates were a week out lol, going by period due Date is 26/03 šŸ˜„

bekaf · 18/07/2021 13:17

Anybody else a hormonal mess yet? I seem to be crying over anything and everything!

BellatrixK · 18/07/2021 13:33

Oh definitely me @bekaf that was my first symptom. I actually cried earlier in the week because I was tired and the fence paint didn’t look right. I am starting to feel nauseous and my boobs are sore now too.

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do next… have you all let doctors know?

heywhatswrongwitu · 18/07/2021 13:34

Congratulations everyone! I had SPD with my first and my hips are starting to feel a bit achy.. could be psychosomatic..? Hopefully...? HahaConfused

heywhatswrongwitu · 18/07/2021 13:35

@BellatrixK I haven't got in touch with my local midwife led unit yet (they don't do a doctors appt here).. I might wait till next week. Dunno why!

L00byL0u · 18/07/2021 13:37

It's self referral to the midwives at 6 weeks here

heywhatswrongwitu · 18/07/2021 13:38

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of!
Houserenoqueen · 18/07/2021 13:42

Can I join? 31 and due mid march (I think....). I am going to have an early scan. I have fraternal twins already so want to check there is just one this time!

bekaf · 18/07/2021 14:12

@BellatrixK I'm so glad I'm not alone! I cried yesterday because my decaf coffee tasted disgusting, today because my DP wouldn't let me move a bookshelf on my own (and obviously that means I'm not allowed to do anything anymore!)

I called my GP the moment I found out, they set an appointment up for around the 10 week mark (and honesty haven't been much use - I told them I'm clueless and high risk but they wouldn't see me earlier!). You can also book a private scan from 6-8 weeks so I've done that too just for some reassurance

Bdbel · 18/07/2021 19:21

Can I join? I'm 43 😬 this is my last chance at a baby so any support would be amazing. I miscarried in November... so in this one I'm super anxious. I had sore boobs all week and now still sore but but as bad so I'm thinking the worse. Hopefully not!

Im 5 weeks today, due 20th March at a guess... I also got 3+ on clearblue. Lovely to meet you all

PeachScone · 18/07/2021 20:19

Tentatively joining! I'm 28, first pregnancy. Am 4+0 today and found out this morning. Told husband this afternoon and we will be booking an early scan as it doesn't feel real!

BellatrixK · 18/07/2021 20:33

I know. I am struggling to believe it as well. We are getting married in October (hopefully- it’s our third attempt!), and we’re getting a puppy next week, so not the best timing! But it’s also the best news ever. We feel really lucky that is just happened for us.

I think I’ll start believing it more is we do an early scan, so looking into that.

Shad0w · 18/07/2021 20:56

@BellatrixK same as me and DP, but getting married in September. 3rd attempt also! I'm hoping not to be showing too much before then so my dress isn't too tight Grin

MyMabel · 18/07/2021 21:08

@Shad0w @BellatrixK I’m also getting married.. but not until 2023! šŸ˜„ we’ve just come back from holiday and viewing our venue as they’ve made lots of lovely changes.

I’m a way off getting married, this baby will be about 18 months by the time we do it! But I was desperate to get our second (and last) baby out of the way with enough time for me to shed some weight. I did a massively poor job of shifting my last lot of baby weight. I need double the effort this time!

Congrats on all the weddings!! We had a full on lockdown wedding last year!
So far I am feeling slightly nauseous pretty much all day yesterday and today, and having intermittent cramps which feel different to AF but can't quite describe how...
We were surprised but are over the moon - NHS calculator says due date 27th March which seems not very long away at all!

Shad0w · 18/07/2021 22:58

I'm phoning my GP tomorrow morning. I'm not sure what to expect... if I will get an appointment or an appointment set for a later date (I am 5w 2d) or just a phone call with info Confused

Houserenoqueen · 18/07/2021 23:18

Congratulations to everyone getting married!
@Shad0w you probably need to self refer for maternity services (and your first appt would be a booking appt at 8-10 weeks) :)

Shad0w · 18/07/2021 23:36

@Houserenoqueen thank you.

GabeKhera · 18/07/2021 23:47

Hello, same here, DD 23 March and total 3rd pregnancy, but first after a loss. And here is where I struggle emotionally. Feel very anxious. Even though pregnancy is planned, found out 5 days before period, already phoned gp and already booked private 6 weeks scan, just to make sure there is a heartbeat and pregnancy developing where it is supposed to be. Although it looks like gp is in no rush to get me on board and I realised, that I may not be able to get early scan appointment at the hospital.

MyMabel · 19/07/2021 07:28

My midwife should be ringing me today to go through the paperwork, then will book an appointment with her next week to have bloods done. She’s the same lady I had last time so I’m pleased with that!

TreeWizard · 19/07/2021 07:34

Hi all, could I please tentatively join? I got my BFP this morning after being 5 days late for AF. I was too nervous to test before then. My due date would be 23rd March.

I've just turned 41 and have a 2.5 year old DD. We've been TTC for well over a year but had no joy except an early miscarriage in March 2020 and a chemical shortly after. Praying this little one sticks but determined not to get my hopes up just yet.

PeachScone · 19/07/2021 08:12

Totally clueless as it's my first rodeo - if I contact maternity services for antenatal care does that have to be the same place I would want to give birth? Or can you change later on to another hospital?

Houserenoqueen · 19/07/2021 08:25

@PeachScone generally yes. You can change (I did last time) but normally you would register at the place you plan to give birth.

Shad0w · 19/07/2021 09:06

@PeachScone totally clueless here too as it's my first! I've phoned the GP this morning and have an appointment this morning. The doctor sounded lovely on the phone which has helped to put me at ease.
