There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Hello ladies! Congrats to everyone!!!
We found out a couple of days ago and and I'm due 29 March 2022. Main symptom is that I am sooooo bloaty!!! Also for us is our first baby - anyone else being first timers?

denisavn · 23/07/2021 15:32

@Countingchicks I am doing my second jab tomorrow - hoping it will be ok! DH basically had more arm pain after the first dose as well so I am hoping I'll get as lucky as you and him too!! Pfizer as well 😁

GabeKhera · 23/07/2021 17:07

Hello lovely ladies, so had a little quaet day yesterday as I was trying to figure out how do I feel about everything and trying to keep myself calm. This morning I had to go back to hospital for the repeat blood test. But in the morning had some brown discharge whilst wiping myself. So anyway, I went to do the bloods and received the phone call with the results just now, to my surprise, hormone levels had a good rise what means early pregnancy 😊 so I will have follow up scan on Wednesday 😊 it's like to see positive test all over again 😊
I pray that everything would be fine with this peanut, and if everything will go fine, this peanut will be a real miracle 😊

Does anyone have any advice for morning sickness? (except ginger!) I'm really struggling to keep anything down Confused

Nervyy · 23/07/2021 18:06

Hi all,
I have just found out I am ā€˜1-2 weeks pregnant’ - knowing the date of conception this is sounding right to me, but I downloaded an app that has predicted by due date as the start of April 2022!
This is my first pregnancy ever, I’m 27 and very nervous. I want to let myself be excited but I feel like I’ve found out so early and so much could still go wrong. My partner and I are both really really happy but as we aren’t telling people yet, I just wanted somewhere to talk honestly with others who are going through the same / similar.
Does anyone else feel like we have found out super early and that you thought there’d be ā€˜more to it’ if that makes sense? I figured I’d have a chat with my GP, maybe some bloods, book in with a midwife etc but so far I’ve been told to take Folic Acid and call back when I’m further along. Everything feels like it’s so far away at the moment!

Thanks for reading Smile hope you are all well and doing okay!

Nervyy · 23/07/2021 18:09

Manchester :)

spookycookies · 23/07/2021 18:11

@Nervyy I suspect you are closer to three weeks at least if you've Had a positive test. It's dated from the first day of your last period. No need to see a dr if you're otherwise healthy. Some midwives prefer to wait until 8 weeks for appointments

Nervyy · 23/07/2021 18:17

@spookycookies
Thanks for the reply - it’s my first pregnancy so still figuring it all out. I had 3 positive tests, 1 digital and 2 regular line tests at the start of this week. I spoke with my GP due to meds that I take daily and have been advised to taper down / off them so that’s in progress.
I was also a heavy-ish smoker (10-20 a day) and drank coffee like it was going out of fashion but have stopped smoking immediately and switched to decaf. I’m taking the folic acid as advised too so hopefully all heading down the right track Smile

Nervyy · 23/07/2021 18:19

@denisavn
First timer here, too!
Nervous as so early on but also very excited.
Definitely experiencing some bloating but mostly I’m just exhausted and my boobs are so sore! I’m sleeping all the time and can’t run up or down the stairs haha

Congradulations 😊 just relax and enjoy as much as possible while you can 😊 with my first one I found out very early too, 5 days before period. This time as well, about 4 days before. My first pregnancy was so smooth, that I couldn't believe myself. And probably that's the best thing about it because when you don't know what to expect, less stress 😊 same about labour 😊 as now every single symptom makes me paranoid is it everything ok 😊 so just enjoy 😊

PeachScone · 23/07/2021 19:17

@denisavn I'm also a first timer! And 28. Super nervous but also super excited!

Today I have been feeling really queasy, but I'm only 4+5 which seems ridiculously early. Sore boobs which are massive and the cramps have been less today.
I had to tell my manager because of where I work and it was actually lovely chatting to someone about it in real life!

L00byL0u · 23/07/2021 19:34

I'm only 4+1 by symptoms but it is super early just hoping for the best.

Ohh it's rotten isn't it - I'm just starting to get the nausea. With my first it was always having a packet of crackers to hand, just dry bland stuff. Ginger didn't help at all. I wore travel sickness bands too.
swanswallow · 23/07/2021 21:17

Hi everyone, I'm 4+4 today, mixture of excitement and overanalysing every niggle as a sign of something wrong! I did have some pinkish/brownish spotting last week though that has cleared up, that I think started me off.

Also having nausea, finding seabands helpful as someone asked! Thought they were a bit of a gimmick but see them mentioned by NICE etc and positive review here.

dreamygirl25 · 23/07/2021 21:37

Hiya, I'm 6 weeks today. Allowing myself to get a tiny bit excited now. This is my 3rd baby. I'm feeling exhausted last couple of days but could be the heat. Anyone else got any sickness/fatigue? I can't remember if it's supposed to start this early!

els97 · 23/07/2021 22:03

Hey! I'm not certain on dates but I've had 29th March or 2nd April. How is everyone else working out their dates? Not sure why calculators are giving me different dates šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø congrats all ā¤ļø

Nervyy · 23/07/2021 22:23

@GabeKhera thank you! Congratulations to you, too! Smile
I am trying to let myself enjoy the time and looking on the bright side that I have longer to enjoy pregnancy etc but it’s still quite scary with it being so early on.
I can’t wait to get to 12 weeks and have my first scan Smile I think you’re right and we just need to relax and not over analyse

denisavn · 23/07/2021 22:25

@PeachScone congrats!!! It's all new and exciting but also a bit scary sometimes. I had my first proper round ligament pain today and freaked me out a bit!

denisavn · 23/07/2021 22:26

@Nervyy Congratulations!!! Haha! I was just saying to DH that I think I need to take afternoon naps cause if not I seem to be out before 10PM 😜

denisavn · 23/07/2021 22:28

@els97 I used the NHS calculator and another one online. But most are dependent on period length and mine varies so I put an average of 27 days 😁

denisavn · 23/07/2021 22:29

@L00byL0u

I'm only 4+1 by symptoms but it is super early just hoping for the best.
Congrats!!! šŸŽ‰

I'm 6 weeks today also, but first baby Smile

i have had one nauseous morning but wasn't actually sick. i was really really tired the week i found out i was pregnant (4w) but its nof been so bad recently

jmap81 · 24/07/2021 00:00

Also my first, to the couple of people who have asked. It's funny isn't it because you don't really want symptoms but it's also reassuring. Today I feel totally "normal". What's everyone doing about exercise, lifting things etc?
I totally agree, calculating the date very confusing! I am either end March or mid April depending on what I listen to
So happy for everyone!

Newtoallthis01 · 24/07/2021 06:50

Hi everyone. Im due mid March (by my calculations) found out I was pregnant a week ago and Im 6+5. Ive done two tests - both positive but Ive had no other symptoms. Breasts feel a little crammed in my bra but no sickness or aversion to smells or anything. Really nervous Ive just made up being pregnant in my head. :S

hopeful234 · 24/07/2021 08:05

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and found out we are pregnant when away last week. Very excited but so nervous. I had a lot of spotting and a couple of days heavier bleeding which I'm super worried about. That stopped for a week but I'm now getting a small amount of brown spotting when I wipe and mild stomach cramps. Anyone else had the same? Tests are still strong positive. GP has referred to the EPU because of the bleeding but she wasn't concerned because the tests were getting stronger. Based on my ovulation test I'm 5 weeks 3 days (I think). First pregnancy so it's all new to me!
