There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

@BellatrixK

Thank you so much for all of the advice. I’ll see what is local and with god local reviews.

I’m in Manchester - also ridiculous here (unusually!).

My in-laws from Preston 😊 hopefully will go to visit them with the good news 😊

@Houserenoqueen I've had two miscarriages. One in December and one in March so I'm supper nervous. I'm thinking about taking a low dose of aspirin. I'll be prescribed it from 12 weeks anyway so might start it early.

Sunbird24 · 21/07/2021 08:49

Exactly 5 weeks today! Still trying not to get too excited because of the previous miscarriages, but all on track so far.
Looks a bit cooler out today as well, so hoping everyone else is feeling ok this morning?

Me too @Sunbird24 !

Had everyone downloaded the pregnancy+ app yet? I am obsessed with the ā€˜actual size’ function and keep holding it against my belly to imagine how this teeny tiny thing is growing in me!

Yes @MyMabel!

Bluebell88 · 21/07/2021 10:17

@MyMabel

Where is everyone from?
I’m just outside of Southampton.

I’ll be going to Window to the womb for a viability or dating scan, they seem to get good reviews, going to wait until I’m 8 weeks, although I get conflicting weeks depending on which date I use because I ovulated later than the ā€œnormā€.

Based on the first day of my last period I’m 4 weeks 5 days DD 25 March, but if I put in my ovulation date (which I know because I used OPKs) my app says I’m 3 weeks 6 days DD 31 March, NHS website based on my average cycle length just says 4 weeks, DD 28 March. So confusing šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«! I guess I should er on the side of caution and go with the weeks based on ovulation, I’d hate to go for my scan too early and not be able to see/hear anything. Anyone else have the same issue? This is my first time!

Sunbird24 · 21/07/2021 10:34

@Bluebell88 I had a scan at 6+5 with my last pregnancy, could see a tiny heartbeat even though it was measuring 6+1, so anywhere over 7 you should be fine

MyMabel · 21/07/2021 10:44

@Bluebell88 I had a scan at 7 weeks other my first and could see a heartbeat :)

Well I say could see a heartbeat but she was like ā€œcan you see that little flickering, that the heartbeatā€ and I just said yeah even though I couldn’t distinguish what was what at all šŸ˜‚

The Femometer app is good in pregnancy mode too, gives you little daily progress reports

Thank you @Sunbird24 and @MyMabel

That’s very exciting!

GabeKhera · 21/07/2021 11:13

@Bluebell88 deppends what do you want to find out. If your main worry is a heartbeat, then for sure worth to wait a bit longer. In my case, I want to find out first of all whether pregnancy is in place. So for me a week here or there does not really make big difference, scan will still be able to see. According to my last period, I am 6 weeks today, according to app calculation as I do know exact ovulation date as well, I am 5 weeks today.

Nats7504 · 21/07/2021 11:14

Hello ladies, can I tentatively join please?

I found out last week I’m pregnant, I’m 5 weeks today with a due date of 24th March. I’m 37 and have 2 boys ages 13 and 11 so all of this is new to me. Ive felt pretty shit these last few days and the sickness is starting to kick in. Yay.

Oh and I’m from Cheshire 😊

Bluebell88 · 21/07/2021 11:38

Thanks @GabeKhera, I think I’ll try and wait until 8 weeks to see the heartbeat unless I get any worrying symptoms before then.

Pixiedust15 · 21/07/2021 11:53

Hi lovely's jumping on this thread also šŸ’– I found out a couple weeks ago that I'm pregnant after a loss on the 23rd march this year, terrified but so happy at the same time it's a strange feeling, I'm 28 and have 1 DD at 9 years old so a good age gap! According to my LMP I'm due 23rd March... so freaky! I'm due my rainbow the day we lost our angel šŸŒˆā¤ I'm taking it as a sign he/she is coming back to us 🄰 i have some mega heartburn but no morning sickness (just yet) I did have it with my other two pregnancys so I'm half expecting it this time around too šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤£ no cravings but again I never got that any other pregnancys so I might not again 😊 how are we all anyway? I hope your all keeping well x

GabeKhera · 21/07/2021 12:32

Nats7504 · 21/07/2021 12:42

@GabeKhera Thank you 😊 I’m a little anxious and it still hasn’t sunk in really. We were TTC for a little while and didn’t think it was going to happen! X

Thank you all for your advice. I’ve booked a scan for 12th August when I’ll be nearly 8 weeks.

Love that we’re all so stay out but sharing this together: it feels very supportive already.

I have just finished school today for 6 weeks, so I’m very excited!

Mine is 25th March. I have the ā€˜What to Expect’ App and I love that bit of it @MyMabel

PeachScone · 21/07/2021 18:00

Have just downloaded pregnancy + app and am now also obessessed with the life size pictures!
So excited now for the private scan, mine is booked for 9th of August.
I've been trying to drink lots of water, eat much healthier than I was (!) and have been taking pregnacare since finding out. Feel like I should be exercising too but it is SO HOT and I just want to sit down in front of a fan...

I’d love to be exercising but between the heat and the exhaustion, I’m only able for the couch! I’ll need to watch myself or I’ll be huge šŸ˜‚
