There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Hi @TreeWizard I'm in a very similar situation as you. I am 43, miscarried in November and was about to go for IVF when I discovered I was pregnant. I've started another group asking older mums to share experiences, I thought this would be helpful 😊

almay · 19/07/2021 10:18

Hi guys, I just found out this morning so I’m 4w +1. First pregnancy so very nervous but incredibly excited! Due date is roughly 28th March.

PeachScone · 19/07/2021 11:17
@PeachScone generally yes. You can change (I did last time) but normally you would register at the place you plan to give birth.
Thanks! I've filled out the online referral to my local this morning. Still doesn't feel real! Trying not to get ahead of myself as it is still so early but very excited Grin We don't plan on telling anyone until after the 12 week scan so I'm glad I can talk to you ladies about it!

spookycookies · 19/07/2021 12:18

Anyone else got no symptoms yet? I'm about 4weeks but only had a positive test so far.

GabeKhera · 19/07/2021 13:14

@spookycookies

Anyone else got no symptoms yet? I'm about 4weeks but only had a positive test so far.
With my first one it was probably the easiest pregnancy, no sicknes, no tiredness, no other unpleasant feelings. Only terrible heartburn started about 12 weeks and carried thruought the pregnancy. This time I don't have morning sickness yet, but everything else makes me feel like I am not in my own body 😊 I am tired, I am anxious, I can't sleep, often visits to toilet, can't even touch my boobs how painfull they are and I am very bloated.
MyMabel · 19/07/2021 14:07

@spookycookies none yet other than being tired, I’ll be 5 weeks on Wednesday. I had no symptoms at all with my first.. other than sore boobs for a week or two in the beginning.

Hi all, I’m also due 23 Mar, did IVF solo last year and miscarried in Nov and Apr. I’m 43 and this would be my first (but two embryos transferred so possibly also second! 🤭) Haven’t even told my family I’ve had another transfer yet, the anxiety is huge.

Houserenoqueen · 19/07/2021 14:21

@spookycookies no symptoms here. Apart from the positive test, I wouldn’t believe it. Going to have an early scan later this week...

Houserenoqueen · 19/07/2021 14:22

@Sunbird24 ah so maybe twins? When will you find out if you’re having one or two (do your clinic do an early scan?)?

Sunbird24 · 19/07/2021 14:28

Got a scan booked at the clinic for 10 Aug, at 7+5. That’s when I discovered both previous times that I’d had MMCs, so I’m understandably nervous. Last time I did have a private scan at 6+5 and saw a heartbeat, but it was only measuring 6+1, so already starting to fall behind, and it was gone at 8+1 when the clinic did their scan. I’m on low dose aspirin and lots of extra progesterone this time so šŸ¤ž that helps…

MTTL · 19/07/2021 14:31

I got my BFP on Saturday and I think I am due 29th of March. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in May so I'm swinging between optimism and nerves. My main symptoms are sore boobs and rage with a small amount of nausea. It was a good line so I am hoping that's a good sign!

@Bdbel thank you, I will have a look. It would be lovely to join you.

How is everyone feeling today? I’ve got a bit of nausea but nothing else

This morning I realised that I am not allowed to do grocery shopping anymore šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ started to have baby brains so risk of buying too much and stuff what we don't even need is significantly increased 🤭🤭🤭🤭 and yet, opening the fridge and don't even know what I want to eat 😊
Shad0w · 20/07/2021 12:52

Not feeling bad today Smile yesterday was an emotional one after finding out my hours are being cut significantly at work shortly which is far from ideal. Woke more positive today though that everything will be ok!

Symptoms, I've had very mild nausea, I was eating a breakfast bar the other morning and started gagging šŸ˜‚ but been ok since although I can't not face eating the breakfast bars. I've had a little fatigue and light cramping mostly in the evenings.

almay · 20/07/2021 12:58

I’m really struggling to keep my eyes open! Otherwise all ok for now but still very early days

MyMabel · 20/07/2021 12:59

I’m pretty tired, headachy and struggling in this bloody heat. But other than that I’m all good!

Not many symptoms still although still very early. On a few of these threads someone has set up a fb group to continue the support. My 2018 baby group is so supportive.

Bluebell88 · 20/07/2021 13:39

Hello,
I got my bfp yesterday, 33 and due between 28 March and 31 March depending on apps, I’m 12 DPO.
No major symptoms so far, peeing more than usual, some mild cramping and tired.
I’m a very anxious person so will probably book an early scan.
Congratulations everyone, it very much doesn’t feel real, not sure when it will!

BellatrixK · 20/07/2021 13:54

Same @MyMabel I have had mild symptoms: slight nausea, tiredness and emotional… but I’m not sure how much is the heat!
It’s my last week in school this week, so I’m really looking forward to the summer.
I’m racially the same @Bluebell88 I think I’m going to book an early scan, mainly because I’m not sure I believe it and I think that will help me to.

PeachScone · 20/07/2021 14:18

Since this morning I've been 1) on the verge of tears over nothing several times, 2) background nauseous and 3) completely exhausted. First day at work since I found out and I really need to sleep but I'm here til 8pm!!

bekaf · 20/07/2021 14:39

@PeachScone you're not the only one. I'm exhausted, cramping and nauseous almost 24/7, and crying over nothing a few times per day.

This is my 1st, and I'm really not enjoying pregnancy so far. I'm just praying the 2nd trimester is more forgiving!

GabeKhera · 20/07/2021 14:42

Lovely ladies, maybe you can help? I came to a dead end of what refreshment drinks I could have. The thing is that before getting pregnant I was a little naughty and used to treat myself with energy drink every day. Now this one is out the window. I have tried loads of various options - mineral water, squash, light ginger ale, juice, cold tea and there is nothing I would like. I can't stand taste of a plain water as well šŸ˜” maybe someone had similar issues? Otherwise all is left is just a milk 🤭

Sorry it's not much help but all I can think of is flavoured water? The volvic ones I think are really nice, but I have had them from Aldi too and like those. They do sparkling ones also which I would imagine be fine in smaller quantities?

Thankfully it's not been an issue for me as I've always been a big water drinker, I have never liked or drank any hot drinks whatsoever so just sticking to water, juice, squash and occasional fizzy drink but now days without the vodka
