There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Hi everyone, all day today I've had mild cramping in my right side. Almost like period pains. I've now just noticed a pink/red blood on toilet paper (TMI!) unsure what this is. I know people say it can be normal when early but has anyone else experienced this? I'm so worried and my early assessment unit doesn't open till tomorrow 😢 x x

Sunshineandgin · 29/07/2021 22:08

@els97 that sounds very similar to the implantation pains and spotting I had when I was pregnant with my toddler. Def give the EPU a call in the morning but fingers crossed that's all it is.

Bluebell88 · 29/07/2021 22:12

@Sunbird24

Oh, and it turns out this is what happens if you pee on an OPK when you’re 6+1 and bored! Blush
I have an addiction to POAS and plenty of OPKs left so might have to try this too šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø I am obsessed with seeing a positive test, my symptoms have been so mild so far I think I need them to convince myself I’m actually pregnant.

Thanks so much. It was a tiny amount of light pink, no more at the moment. Just done another test strip and still got a strong line. Praying it's all ok xx

Hi, may I join? Due late March I believe. Only just found out but end of March/early April comes in when I work it out!

Lots of cramping and period type pains since the weekend and extreeeemely tired! 2nd baby and feel like I’ve forgotten everything!

Dyra · 30/07/2021 06:27

Welcome to the club @charley39! I think many of us can relate to the tiredness and cramping (or at least I know I can!). How old is your first?

charley39 · 30/07/2021 06:44

@Dyra he is 3 so at least a bit more self sufficient but has decided he doesn’t like to go to sleep anymore after not really having a problem for a good year at leastHmm it’s like he can sense something!

Have you got any others?

Dyra · 30/07/2021 08:42

I've got the one DD. She's going to be 2 in a handful of weeks. She's currently having awful nappies and a terrible nappy rash as a result. I think she's teething to boot poor thing.

charley39 · 30/07/2021 08:59

@Dyra oh bless her. Hope it eases up for you!

Nervyy · 30/07/2021 16:01

Hey all, hope everyone is ok today?!
Views on pregnacare tablets….? šŸ™‚

Bdbel · 30/07/2021 16:33

@Nervyy that's what I am taking as a multi vitamin

Kipkay35 · 30/07/2021 16:38

Hello! I am 6+5 with baby number 1. It took 11 months to conceive. First pregnancy was an early loss at 5ish weeks after the first month.

Anyone else scared? I'm really nervous that I will miscarry or the pregnancy just won't continue. I had super sore boobs until this week, now just a full ache if I press. Zero other symptoms. Anyone else not had any symptoms yet?

My OH has barely mentioned the pregnancy, I think he's scared too. Hope everything goes well for you all xxx

Theimpatientworrier · 30/07/2021 17:13

I’m ridiculously nervous. I panic every time I go to the toilet, and the whole thing doesn’t feel real. I was fine until the first round of brown spotting… so for two days šŸ™ˆ

Absolutely terrified to be honest! I’m so so scared that I’ll miscarry or have an ectopic pregnancy and I honestly can’t shake the feeling. One minute I’m trying to get excited and thinking of when / how to tell family and friends and the next I’m trying to work out how I’ll get over the loss 😫 I just remind myself that so many women have successful and healthy pregnancies so why not me etc etc and that calms me a bit! Think I’ll be a lot better when I get through the first trimester, roll on the next 7 weeks!

So sorry to read about your previous loss. šŸ˜ž
Do you have any additional support in place like early scans or check ins? X

Dyra · 30/07/2021 17:56

@Nervyy I'm taking pregnacare as my multivitamin too.

I have very, very few symptoms too @Kipkay35. I'm somewhere between 5-6 weeks. Boobs have been feeling a bit sore today. I'm tired and emotional, but other than that if it wasn't for the tests, I wouldn't know I was pregnant!

She's doing a bit better today ty @charley39. Not well enough to go to nursery though. Fortunately DH didn't have too much in the way of meetings today, so he could look after her.

Got slightly outted at work today. Someone bought in a charcuterie board and some pate to share. Naturally I didn't have any, which raised the question of "why not?". I wasn't quick witted enough to give an other answer other than a miserable "I can't". Sad

charley39 · 30/07/2021 19:19

@Dyra oh no! Just got caught by surprise. Most people I worked with knew I was pregnant the first time as my head was permanently down the toilet but I’m hoping I can keep this one quiet until at least 12 weeks!

I'm sorry about your previous miscarriage and really hope all goes well for you this time! I'm scared too - first pregnancy for me and with each passing day I feel a little more at ease. Very early at 5+2 today so I know anything could happen.
PeachScone · 30/07/2021 19:29

Incredibly nauseous, massively averse to lots of foods and smells and very, very tired. Really struggling at work. I'm working on postnates at the moment so at least I'm being reminded of the end goal!
We are planning to tell both our parents this weekend (will be 6+1). Early but we will want their support if any issues and I dont think I'll be able to hide the symptoms!

Memaws · 30/07/2021 21:38

Congratulations everyone! Thought I'd jump in. I'm 6w tomorrow due 26th March with 1st everything is still very overwhelming but excited! No sickness yet but deffo some cramping and extreme tiredness and fatigue actually struggling to hold down a full time job at the mo!! Any one else relate? Supposedly morning sickness kicks in around 6w expecting that any minute now and not looking forward to it...

FJS819 · 30/07/2021 22:09

Hey everyone! I'm about 5 weeks pregnant, due late March and super excited!
Good to meet you all Smile

@Memaws congrats! can totally relate to 1st baby excitement and extreme tiredness! I can barely cope with work at the moment as I’m needing at least 1 nap a day and even when I’m awake I’m useless! Same as you with sickness, had the odd nausea pang after choc / sweet food but nothing major yet. 5 weeks tomorrow so a week behind you, don’t spare the gory details on here cos then I’ll know what to expect ha šŸ˜‚

@FJS819 hi! Ditto, 5 weeks tomorrow :) 1st baby? Hope you’re well!
Theimpatientworrier · 30/07/2021 23:44

If morning sickness starts at 6 weeks I could be in a mess… I’m 5+3 on LMP and have been nauseous all week, and it’s getting stronger (I think I’m further ahead as I have shorter cycles, but at most I’d be bang on 6 weeks today I think). I’m torn between really not enjoying nausea and being glad to feel pregnant as the increasing grimness is helping my anxiety šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

ItsAlice · 30/07/2021 23:57

Yeah same here with the cramping, it’s worrying me a bit as it’s getting more noticeable and seems to be worse in the evening, but no bleeding so will just have to see I guess. Boobs still super sore and the odd bit of nausea but I’m not sure if that’s just because I’m looking for it.

Got told today that my gallstones surgery that was next week has been cancelled which is good, but I’m terrified of the pain of it as it flares up a lot and I know likely I’ll have to have them out in my second trimester with all the terror that involves. In the meantime the GP has me on anti sickness for it and has given me co codamol, though I’ve not used either yet and am holding them in reserve for emergencies if that makes sense. Got a phone appointment with a gp Monday to discuss whether to put my op back to second trimester or after pregnancy so shall see, but it’s grim and very depressing.

Went out for drinks and food with friends tonight, luckily gallstones and the jaundice they have given me a couple of times was the perfect excuse not to be drinking!!

Memaws · 31/07/2021 08:46

@Nervyy I think I need to learn to nap! I really struggle to nap which is so not helping! I will definitely keep you updated! Haha
