There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Nervous. Went to the EPU yesterday and in the scans (including internal) they couldn't locate my baby. This has really worried me as I've had spotting for a week now also. They took bloods and I'm to go back on Friday morning for more bloods. If all is looking well then I'll have another scan in 7-10 days. I'm so nervous. It's the unknown that is so worrying.

How are you?

Dyra · 29/07/2021 08:21

That's incredibly kind of you @GabeKhera. Thank you. Stay as long as you like. ā¤ļø

I'm tired @Nervyy. Have a bit of a back ache and some pale pink spotting on wiping. Otherwise all is well. How are you? Grin

Lalala1985 · 29/07/2021 08:43

@GabeKhera I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened to you.

Lalala1985 · 29/07/2021 08:49

@Nervyy boobs less sore now. Getting some very mild cramping and nausea. I actually missed my period now so that's one hurdle out of the way. It feels like I've been pregnant forever but only got my BFP 5 days ago.

Relieved as ive sorted all that I need to do about medications during pregnancy with drs.

My pulsatile tinnitus has made a return - I used to get it a lot when I had hormonal problems years ago. I'm taking it as a good sign of hormones changing.

MyMabel · 29/07/2021 08:50

@Nervyy feel like I’m ready to book a week off work so I can sleep through the day. My god I can’t remember being this tired the first time around. Also feeling super full quickly when I eat, then hungry again soon after.

I had a strange, really vivid dream last night that it was in real time (today) and I’d had the baby and I was so confused because I was saying to myself ā€œI was only 5 weeks pregnant how can I have had the baby?ā€ And I started to become a bit more conscious and I was thinking to myself while I was having the dream ā€œI can’t remember buying everything we need, we don’t have a cot or anything where is the baby?ā€ And I woke up fully expecting to find a baby in my toddlers room asleep with her. There wasn’t and I was so confused because it just felt so real. It took me a good 5 minutes to work out what was dream and what wasn’t šŸ˜‚

Morning ladies. I posted earlier on the thread and since then I’ve felt like utter shit so haven’t posted since.

I’m 6 weeks today and the nausea is multiplying by the day, I feel sick 24/7 and the past few days the gagging at Every.Single.Smell has kicked in. The throwing up won’t be far behind. 😫

I don’t know why I’m surprised as I was like this with my other 2 DC but stupidly and very naively thought with it being a new DP I’d maybe escape it this time šŸ™ˆ

Anyway, moan over. Hope everyone else is ok x

heywhatswrongwitu · 29/07/2021 10:30

I haven't posted in a few days - @gabekhera I'm so sorry.

I was worried as my nausea seemed to have gone - well it's certainly back now! And tiredness.

Also just sitting here sobbing as my 2 year old is having settle ins at nursery and is NOT keen on me leaving her Confused the hormones are rampant already!!

Nervyy · 29/07/2021 11:21

@Shad0w keeping everything crossed for you! How far along are you? Perhaps it was just too early for them to see baby? Spotting supposed to be a normal symptom in the first trimester so if you aren’t passing large amounts of blood etc this may actually be a good sign? I don’t know too much but will be thinking of you and hope all is well!

I am okay thank you, felt some light cramping on my lower right side yesterday so immediately began googling ectopic pregnancies of course 😬 seems to be no cramps today, still have sore boobs, need to pee about 3 times an hour and am generally exhausted so keeping positive for now. I know that if it is ectopic (v small chance) that there is nothing I can do anyway which is heartbreaking but makes me feel like the fact I’m not rushing to a&e doesn’t mean I am putting my baby at risk .. if that makes sense? X

bubblybrit · 29/07/2021 11:25

Morning all. Is anyone else counting the hours? My anxiety is through the roof due to a previous loss so waiting 2 weeks until my private scan may as well be 2 years right now! Nothing seems to take my mind off it...always circles back to what if something is wrong with this pregnancy also. Really hate the early stages!

bubblybrit · 29/07/2021 11:27

Hope all goes well at your next appointment @Shad0w. Fingers crossed it’s like what @Nervyy says and it’s just too early to see the baby x

Glad you are well overall😊 how far along are you? I’m okay thank you, sore boobs, desperate for a wee all the time and sooooo tired!! I felt like I perhaps had some cramping on my lower right side yesterday so had a panic and googled ectopic pregnancy.. all seems ok today though!! Just a nervous drama queen apparently haha x

@Lalala1985 that all sounds really positive! Despite the return of tinnitus, isn’t it weird how we actually seem to enjoy getting these horrible symptoms just because it reassures us?!
I’m really struggling with how tired I am, occasionally get nausea after having chocolate but that could just be the chocolate lol.
I also had to get clarity around my medications and as I am tapering down I do feel the difference but worth it in the long run!

@MyMabel oh my gosh yes! This level of tiredness is unreal! Feel like a slug trying to get through the day.

That dream sounds crazy!! Vivid dreams always make me feel weird the next day hahašŸ˜‚

spookycookies · 29/07/2021 12:48

I am so tired. It's my first day back at work since I found out and I'm exhausted. Don't know how I'll keep this up. May need husband to start doing the wake ups at this rate( 3year old up at 5:30 every day).

ItsAlice · 29/07/2021 13:08

Glad we are all as shattered as each other! I’ve not had anything too bad yet tiredness or sickness wise but am a bit crampy but wonder if that’s because I’m looking for it. My main symptom is horrific anxiety, I was always going to be this way after what we’ve been through but it honestly feels such a slog and I haven’t even got to the sickness bit yet! My gp has already prescribed me anti sickness for this gallstones issue as that makes me throw up when it’s bad so hopefully that will keep nausea under control as I ended up on it with my daughter too. I find I have to set little milestones, so monday I’ll call and book my booking appointment, next Wednesday I’ll do another weeks indicator test etc etc!

Totally agree there @spookycookies - time for DH to get reacustomed to early wake ups!!!

Sunshineandgin · 29/07/2021 15:34

I feel like all my symptoms have gone but I'm trying not to read into it too much, no spotting or bleeding so fingers crossed everything is fine.
I only had a week or two of nausea with my first and that was it for the rest of the pregnancy - just an ever growing bump was my only reminder something was different!

Sunbird24 · 29/07/2021 17:14

I’ve got a flipping cold sore that’s popped up right in the middle of my bottom lip Hmm Don’t know if it’s pregnancy affecting my immune system or just lack of sleep because I can’t get my bedroom below 23 degrees…

Theimpatientworrier · 29/07/2021 20:08

@MyMabel I can imagine waking up from that dream would be very confusing 🤣

I had a vile vivid dream last night where I was standing in my shower bleeding, loads of blood just dripping out of me - I was so worried when I woke up. Before I found out I was pregnant I binge watched all of Call the Midwife (I have watched it before too) and my OH says it’s depressing and too much… I think in this case it might have fed into the dream as the image of a woman standing with blood dripping out of her is burned into my brain from that (and it’s usually such an uplifting show in my view!).

Still feeling really queasy, on and off all day, but today was the first day I’ve woken up with it. I’ve been cramping on and off (most days) since just after I found out too (which sometimes panics me and sometimes I calm myself down and tell myself it’s normal - anyone else have this?); no more brown spotting since Monday, at the minute at least (but it came back having stopped before so…), but (tmi) I seem to have loads of clear watery discharge - not even sure if that is a pregnancy symptom šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Practical question, those of you who booked in with the midwife have you heard anything back? They said they’d be in touch but I’m not sure when and I have a few questions on vitamins and things that I’d love to ask them, so I’m really keen to know when my booking appt will be.

bubblybrit · 29/07/2021 20:25

@Theimpatientworrier. Mild cramping is completely normal so don’t worry about that. I had it with my DD and also have it with this pregnancy. I contacted the midwife regarding my booking appointment on Monday. Was asked to fill in a form online on Tuesday which I returned that day. They responded today with my appointment date being 23rd August as I’ll be just over 8 weeks then.

ItsAlice · 29/07/2021 20:33

Oh snap @Sunbird24 I’ve got an awful cold sore all around and up my nose, it’s gross. I get them if I’m stressed and had a lot when I had my daughter so it could be a good sign!

Yep mild cramping, not like day 1/2 of your period but lower key than that, on the go here, I think it’s pretty normal so try not to worry too much @Theimpatientworrier - ive had a bit of watery discharge too, not like ewcm but maybe like the few days before if that makes sense?

No idea about the midwife stuff, I’m scared I’ll jinx it if I book mine so haven’t yet but my husband has made me promise I will tomorrow as it’ll have been a week since my positive test then - feels like it’s been months!!!

Bit of queasiness and a lot of tiredness on the go here but not sure how much of that is psychosomatic!!

Sunbird24 · 29/07/2021 20:49

@Theimpatientworrier I just called the appointments number for my local birthing centre and made an appointment over the phone. They offered me 90 mins in person or an hour’s phone call with a shorter face to face appointment later on.
@ItsAlice fingers crossed it’s a sign!

Sunbird24 · 29/07/2021 20:56

Oh, and it turns out this is what happens if you pee on an OPK when you’re 6+1 and bored! Blush
