There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

I have agreed to soo much in the near future before the 12weeks and I’m thinking of pulling out of it all as I just don’t see how I can hide it šŸ™ˆ out for two dinners/spa weekend and my birthday where I have been all chat about going out šŸ˜† what ideas does everyone have? The spa weekend is going to be the worse but think I will be very close to 12 weeks so do I just say by then?

MyMabel · 28/07/2021 16:19

@Dyra also 150mg, so 75mg twice a day. Ah I asked her if I should start straight away and she said to start from 12 weeks. I did wonder about taking it early but I might wait and see!

I've also been told to take aspirin from 12 weeks. I also asked midwife if I should take baby aspirin now because of losses. She said yes but check with GP for a prescription. GP and consultant said no. Now I don't know what to do. I don't need a prescription so could just take it but I'm wary after consultant said no to. It's only 6 weeks different.

MyMabel · 28/07/2021 16:30

@spookycookies in all fairness - the consultant outright said on the phone to get someone else to buy it for me or to lie and say it’s for an older person because they won’t want to sell
It to me if they know I’m pregnant.

Do what you feel is right by you.

I've never once been asked if I was pregnant when buying aspirin. Though I think the last time I did buy some it was obvious.

Agreed. Do what feels right.

Theimpatientworrier · 28/07/2021 17:12

@Dyra I managed to get through a bit later, so now it’s just wait and see when my booking appointment comes through and hope all is still going ok by then - I’m not sure when booking appointments usually happen in my area and don’t want to ask any friends as it’ll be obvious why I’m asking! I have told my two oldest friends (who live out of area), as I needed someone to talk to who got it and it was in the context of I’m spotting and I’m scared and they’ve been great but anyway… what I thought was super odd is that neither the GP or the midwife booking person has told me to take folic acid (I am doing of course) but they have asked me where I want to give birth šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

@Gotu my friends are trying to book a spa weekend and I’m going to try to persuade them to do something else. I figure if we’re doing something else I can start moaning about dental pain a few weeks before and then claim to be on antibiotics (the dental stuff you definitely can’t go near booze with) but if I avoid a hot tub they’ll know instantly.

Gotu · 28/07/2021 17:22

Yeah I don’t think I could get them to go anywhere else but maybe I could do that..I don’t think it has a hot tub just an outside heated pool so I’m guessing that would be fine and book a facial instead of the massage then go down the antibiotic root 😃

spookycookies · 28/07/2021 17:40

@MyMabel I ordered some on my delivery but I'm just cautious now. I don't want to go against drs advice but I also know that if I have another loss I will be prescribed it so why wait till then.

GabeKhera · 28/07/2021 17:42

So my lovely ladies, another day spent at EPU with not great news šŸ˜” two scan's, blood taken twice, swabs as a preparation for the admission, however the final verdict was they let me go home for natural miscarriage šŸ˜” they have confirmed that it is ectopic pregnancy, however hormone levels dropped dramatically what shows that my body started misscariage process itself. At this point if they would do the surgery for me, it would lead to a second tube removal.
It is what it is, just need to deal with it now.
@ItsAlice looks like I will be the next patient on dr Kumar list.

Nervyy · 28/07/2021 17:47
@bubblybrit that's understandable why you'd be nervous, hope all goes well this time. It's so hard not knowing isn't it.

@Nervyy I've been feeling really nauseous in the mornings the past few days but feel fine today. With my first my boobs were so sore but it's hard to tell this time as I'm still breastfeeding so I often get twinges anyway. And again I feel shattered but I always do chasing after a toddler so I don't think that's a new thing haha.
@Sunshineandgin oh my gosh I can’t imagine chasing a toddler the level of exhausted I am haha! Hats off to you! I struggle enough getting through a full day at work x

@Nervyy thank you. I do have great support, just the only thing what is killing me right now is whether my little boy will understand what is going on as he was so exited about having baby. Poor boy, saw me comming back crying and he started to cry with me šŸ˜”

Theimpatientworrier · 28/07/2021 18:05

Oh @GabeKhera that’s so sad, I’m really sorry to hear that. I’m glad if it is ectopic that it seems to be resolving without risk to your tube but hope you are being kind to yourself too. Xx
