I've just found out Im pregnant - due Mid March next year so literally only 4 weeks. Dying to tell people already 🤦🏼‍♀️ anybody else in a similar boat? Who have you told how did you announce it?

It'd be lovely to chat to people in a similar situation!

Hey @PaperFleur
Thanks for replying and go us for yesterday's runs 👍 I also went even slower than normal as I read something on the NHS website about not being so out of breath you couldn't hold a conversation which is do-able for me if I go easy. I'm glad to be back to it, I find exercise really helps with my MH/ self esteem stuff so I think it's going to be needed as my body changes.

JuneySunshine · 29/07/2021 10:13

Oops sent to early! Thanks for the tip about Bodyfit. I also love Adrienne (and Benji) and will stick to her easy workouts if nothing new suits.

PaperFleur · 29/07/2021 10:42

@JuneySunshine I'm the same with the positive MH effects of exercise, running in particular makes me feel strong and mighty, even if it's just plodding along!
I'd also read the advice about still being able to hold a conversation, then got really paranoid about it halfway round, so ended up having a muttered, one-sided conversation with an imaginary person, just to check I could still talk ok! Grin
I love Benji too, the best yoga sessions are the ones with him in! For those who are new to Yoga with Adriene, Benji is her adorable dog...

Tagging @Nikkixx here in case she wants to try that, or the Bodyfit by Amy yoga videos. There are a few more suggested here too that I'm going to investigate... glowingnest.com/pregnancy-workouts/

Hey all 👋🏻
How is everyone?

I still have ZERO symptoms (apart from slightly tender breasts) and will be 8W tomorrow… anyone else’s symptoms ramping up? Or non existent like mine?

Maui69 · 31/07/2021 11:35

Hey @AlwaysSeekingComfort I'm 8 weeks tomorrow too! My symptoms seem to come and go which can be worrying. I feel quite sick today but going to try and eat as that usually helps. My boobs are tender too and I feel quite tired today xx

Milly238 · 31/07/2021 11:43

@AlwaysSeekingComfort hi again! Hope you’ve been doing ok! I’m 8 weeks next week and also feeling no symptoms aside from tiredness. Absolutely zero nausea at the moment! TMI but I’m not even needing to wee so often anymore. I have to say Ive been really worrying about it and spent so much time the past few days googling various forums but it may make you feel better to know that the majority of the ones I read turned out to be completely healthy pregnancies or they went on to have good scans ☺️ So it is true that some women just don’t get these symptoms!

Deedee08 · 31/07/2021 11:50

@AlwaysSeekingComfort sore breast and extreme fatigue. My nausea has been on and off and it seems the only food i can tolerate right now is rice. I am sure as we progress we will get more.

AlwaysSeekingComfort · 31/07/2021 11:50

@Maui69 ooo snap! Oh bless you! Those symptoms are good signs though! X

@Milly238 hey lovely. I’m ok thanks, hope you are too! And oooo really? Still no symptoms really for you then either. Yes my weeing is also normal. I also read loads of forums and I feel like having no symptoms is more common than we think (although all the proper websites say having no MS is very uncommon)… it does put my mind at rest for all of 10mins, then go back to worrying again 🤣. 9 days til my next scan (where I should be 9w1d)…. So am petrified and time is dragging!x

AlwaysSeekingComfort · 31/07/2021 11:52

@Deedee08 all good symptoms for you though lovely. Haha I love rice so just having rice would be fine for me. Hope you can start to eat different foods soon though bless you. X

Maui69 · 31/07/2021 12:01

@AlwaysSeekingComfort good luck for your scan x

Milly238 · 31/07/2021 13:45

@AlwaysSeekingComfort I think you’re right and it’s defo more common than we think to have little to no symptoms! I know how you feel though that even though I know the evidence (which is very promising for us no symptom girls) I’m still being such a worry wart! Try not to be too stressed lovely and just focus on the fact that everything is going well for you so far and there’s no real concrete reason for why it shouldn’t continue like that ❤️ Really hope the time to your next scan flies for you too!

Orangefish02 · 31/07/2021 20:04

Lovely to see lots of new people on here 😀 I've been meaning to come on here again after my first post but struggling to find the time between being tired and chasing a toddler around! I worked out that my nausea was being made 100x worse by pregnacare so I've switched to just folic acid and vit D for now. It's made a huge difference!

I think @JuneySunshine was asking about books for OH? I got mine Pregnancy for Men last time around which was really funny but really informative. I actually read it myself too. Highly recommend.

I'd also be keen for any prenatal yoga or Pilates videos if anyone has and recommendations? I feel like I need to get strong again which I didn't quite manage between babies... but want to start something before 12weeks if I can so I reckon online videos are the answer.

I just got my booking appointment through which isn't until September when I will be 12 weeks 😮

Hope everyone is doing well. Would anyone be interested in joining a private/secret Facebook group?

treesall · 01/08/2021 09:30

@Orangefish02 I joined a Mumsnet Facebook group with my first pregnancy and it was fabulous, it's still very active even now the kids are 3! I would happily join one, though I expect I would probably be leaving it fairly quickly as I'm expecting this to turn into mc number 5...but obvs I hope not! For that reason I won't offer to set one up...!

Maui69 · 01/08/2021 09:42

@OrangeFish02 unfortunately I do not have Facebook so joining a Facebook group is not something I can do xx

Maui69 · 01/08/2021 09:42

Hope you're OK @treesall? X

Miss35 · 01/08/2021 09:45

Hi everyone
I found out I’m preg at 5 weeks jus fe days befor my bday I been anxious since had I had miscarriage at 16 weeks befor had my daughter I am currently 7 weeks 3 days today I only told my mom I really excited to tell my family but haven’t :/ as not seen midwife yet I waiting to be referred. I am so worried Duno who to talk to as this baby is after 10 years after having my daughter I feel weak n tired n my body feel broken is this normal any one ???

AlwaysSeekingComfort · 01/08/2021 10:56

Hey lovely @Orangefish02 I don’t have FB sorry… otherwise would love to have joined!

I’m on pregnacare but they seem to not affect me (have read a lot of woman say it makes them feel worse), so you’re not the only one. I think VitD & Folic is just as effective anyway!

Oh how fab!!! It’s Aug today so Sept will be here before you know it!!! I have my MWife appointment mid Aug but haven’t had my 12w scan through yet….

@Miss35 congrats hun 💐 I know the exact feeling am anxious too as had a MC in May (found out @ 12w scan baby died @ 9w)… soooo sorry for your loss, and yours was further along at 16w which must have been even harder!!! Of course you are going to feel tired (everyone gets effected differently) but you are growing a little human, they are going to be nicking all of your energy to make them grow nice and strong. We are all here to talk if you need to! X

@Milly238 awww I’ll try Beaut! Hope you are ok! Every day without bleeding/bad cramping is a positive aye! I’m dead on 8W today and looking at my pregnancy+ app it’s starting to look like a little baby…. This is what keeps me going and positive ❤️

Miss35 · 01/08/2021 11:38

@AlwaysSeekingComfort thank you for comforting message I just joined as I know many women may be going through similar if not same . Feel comfort resured by talking to other moms to be . My concern is now I had my Covid first dose befor found out I’m due my second any advise I read lot things n I haven’t seen my midwife yet as still waiting on her to contact me I tried contacting her unfortunately she on leav till 9 th august n gp are not very helpful to say least

AlwaysSeekingComfort · 01/08/2021 11:46

@Miss35 no worries at all! It is very comforting talking to others who are going through similar and who can share experiences. I personally haven’t had the Covid vaccine yet…. So cannot comment. However there are loads of threads on here about woman who have had it or are due to have it… I’d suggest scrolling through and having a read,X

JuneySunshine · 01/08/2021 12:00

Hi @Miss35 I was the same as you, I'd already had my first jab and due my second at 6w+2. I had Moderna. I was lucky that I had a number for the community midwife so called to check. They recommended I went ahead with it and said moderna and Pfizer are the ones they'd recommend for pregnant women, luckily.
I had the second jab last week and I've had no issues. I was nervous and mainly worried about fever which I was planning to control with paracetamol if I did develop one. Luckily no side effects except tiredness here.
I'm sure the advise would be the same for you but understand you'd want the reassurance of speaking to someone about it.

AlwaysSeekingComfort · 02/08/2021 13:59

@Ell17 hey lovely. Just checking up to see how you are? X

Ell17 · 02/08/2021 14:42

@AlwaysSeekingComfort Thanks for checking in ♥️ I'm doing ok actually, bleeding stopped entirely two days ago so just waiting on a negative test. How are you doing???
I feel like my head is all over the place RE trying again. MC in April was no symptoms whatsoever, MC now full on symptoms and it still happened. So I'm just torn really. Having a break for sure xx

AlwaysSeekingComfort · 02/08/2021 14:49

@Ell17 no worries! Glad you’re OK!! And good, the negative test should come within 2 weeks hopefully! I am OK thanks, 8W1D today apparently and still zero symptoms!
I bet it is, it’s an ordeal for you! 2 MC’s in a row is emotionally draining and so it’s completely normal to feel all over the place. Only you know what’s right for you and your body… if you think you should have a break to give your body a rest and let your mind be stress free then do that! There’s no rush… take care of yourself and good luck when you start trying TTC again if I don’t speak to you… sending you baby dust for when you do ✨xx

Maui69 · 02/08/2021 15:23

@Ell17 good luck for the future. So sorry for your loss. Take care x

Ell17 · 02/08/2021 16:54

@Maui69 and @AlwaysSeekingComfort thank you both. Ill take a break mentally and physically - just concentrate on my health and mind I think.
@AlwaysSeekingComfort I hope your journey is smooth and wonderful!! 🤍🤍 xx
