I've just found out Im pregnant - due Mid March next year so literally only 4 weeks. Dying to tell people already 🤦🏼‍♀️ anybody else in a similar boat? Who have you told how did you announce it?

It'd be lovely to chat to people in a similar situation!

@JuneySunshine that sounds awesome. I had mine yesterday as well 20 weeks and 3 days. Everything is good with baby also. I have been having anxiety for 3 days about the scan and i think the baby felt it because the kicks were intense the night before my scan lol.

Baby refused to open their legs and the sonographer couldn't be bothered i suggested walking around or dancing a bit to encourage a change in position she just blankly said no need. Your anomaly report looks good nothing to worry about. Good thing we did a private scan 2 weeks ago to find out the sex. It would have been nice if she had also confirmed it but oh well we are just glad baby is healthy and doing well.

Glad your 20W scans went good!!! Congrats to you both 💐

Unfortunately ours didn’t and I’ve been referred to FMU :( In limbo at the moment and feeling very deflated and sad.

Have created a new thread on MN on it hoping for some other experiences/outcomes called “abdo cyst found 20w scan”. Who knows what the future holds at the moment.

Most of all I hope you get your next appointment through quickly so you can find out more. The waiting is so hard, sending lots of positive vibes to you and little one.

@Deedee08 So happy for you that you managed to have a complete anamoly scan, another big hurdle passed. Your sonographer had probably had a day of a awkward babies like mine already, but it's a shame for you not to have the sex confirmed. Will you have any more scans now? I have a consultant so booked in for 32w and 36w already. Funny you should say that baby was feeling your worry, mine was super busy yesterday, the day after the scan, I felt they were celebrating evading all the necessary checks - the little monkey!

@JuneySunshine i was a bit shocked its another 12 weeks wait for the next scan, but we will probably get 1 private scan before then.

Ladied sorry to uurghh you out but random question, anyhow else experiencing severe itchiness down there. It is driving me absolutely mad. 3 pharmacies refused to sell Canesten to me because i am pregnant and i am already taking antibiotics for UTI.

I am drinking cranberry juice like my life depends on it and having garlic infused water ( big ewww).

Hi everyone been while sincei announced
My 20 week scan on Tuesday n I am full of worrying n anxiety my pregnancy not going so well it’s made me so lonely n not feeling my self my midwife refer me to midwife who deals with mental health . A .. cos I was worrying I mc cos I mc once late in to preg B.. ppl keep saying I’m to tiny for 5 month n I was lot bigger with my other two n not nice thing to hear wen I’m ready worrying bout everything else .. C not been sleeping well pelvic pain or leg ach or peeing but I’m not eating well I hardly eat I hv to force myself for sake of baby but such difficulty
I just wish Tuesday comes fast n I kno baby ok so can relax Abit

Nice to share my feelings on here cos family friends don’t understand they just judge or compare me to their experience or just general compare me to others wer as every one body baby size journey different but least on here we all can gv some type of comfort words x

@Miss35 I wish i could give you the biggest the hug right now. I pray it all goes well when you have your scan. Please keep being positive, i know it's hard but that's all you can do for you and your baby. Be strong.

@Miss35 This sounds so hard, but your scan is nearly here. It's only the hospital staff who can tell you anything about how little one is doing, so ignore everyone else. In the mean time focus on the two of you and try to look after yourself 💐

Hey guys I had my 20 week scan last week too. She told me I'm measuring 6 days ahead so moved my due date closer. It only lasted like 15-20 minutes tho, is that normal?? I thought it was supposed to last much longer and now I'm worrying myself thinking she could have missed something. I'm due 11 March with a baby boy btw

@Tokyo21 that's brilliant about your scan, congratulations on your little boy.

I'd heard they take 30 minutes but I would think if yours was fast it was just because baby was in a good position to take all the measurements- unlike my little monkey! My sonograoher said with the 11 checks they not only have to see all was ok themselves, but evidence it with a screenshot for the file so I don't see that anything could have been missed in yours at all 😊

I'm due 16th and I thought my midwife said the date was fixed after 12 weeks but maybe that varies place to place x

Awh bless your little one, at least you get another chance to see them soon if that means your having another scan!
I acc didn't get my 12 week scan so that's probably why my EDD was changed, I had one at 7 weeks and then again at 20.

@AlwaysSeekingComfort I'm sorry to hear your scan didn't go as you'd hoped. I haven't seen your other thread but I will have everything crossed for you that all turns out to be ok xx
