My waters have gone at 30 weeks

I'm currently on the labour ward, unable to sleep and worried. I've had a normal, easy pregnancy then today out of nowhere my waters broke, I'm 30+2. I'm being kept in for monitoring for now. Can anyone share any experience of this?

@BananaHammock23 so glad you’re still hanging in there 😂👏🏼 I’m 34 weeks today, having a c-section too. It won’t be long at all! A friend of ours just had to have a section at 27 weeks and the baby is fine, having a lot of help but is fine. They can work miracles these days. Hope you make it to your section date! I don’t have any extra reason to worry but still feel like I’m walking on egg shells every day trying not to put myself into labour so dread to think how you’re managing it x

I’ve had this happen twice. Once I went 6 weeks before going into spontaneous labour, then a week with the 2nd. You’re doing great. As long as you’ve had the steroid injections, baby should be absolutely fine. Both are happy healthy kids

I'm glad to hear baby is still cooking. At this stage everyday in is remarkable. Although it's stressful you are doing a wonderful job. Keep the strength xx

23 weeks with the one that went to 29 weeks. It was a tough time but all good. DC spent 9 weeks in nicu
29 weeks with the next, home after 5 weeks

Just wondering how everything went OP? I too am in hospital after my waters went at 30 weeks. I have lost mostly all the fluid which is worrying me, but it's been 5 days now and no labour.
They want to send me home at the weekend if no sign of labour, which terrifies me slightly!
Would be great to hear how long you went and how the birth was and how your baby is doing :)

I was born way before 30 weeks and have no problems to report. Good luck!
