Great news @Haiyaa πŸ₯° hope it's not too chunky though haha πŸ˜‚

No @2020mission mines literally just a V pillow! But I sleep with it upside down so I have one arm of it against my back and then hook my leg over the other bit. It's working well so far! Here's the one I got: www.dunelm.com/product/dorma-full-forever-v-shaped-firm-support-pillow-1000047414

Second Covid jab today! Woohoo! πŸ₯³

Kirky658 · 09/07/2021 10:08

@kate105 hope the jab goes OK today hun!

@kiwibabyjourney how are you keeping?

becarefuloutthere · 09/07/2021 10:17

Hey gang! Think I'm finally ready to join the side car! For those that aren't on the conception thread anymore you might know me better as not yet a mum but trying, I'm now this and I got my bfp via Ivf 4 weeks ago. I have my viability scan on Monday where I'll be 7+6. I had my booking in appointment with the midwife yesterday and my 12 week scan is 11th August. This is my first bfp after trying for 21 months! Pleased to finally be joining you all and just hoping and praying we see a heartbeat on Monday! πŸ™πŸΎ

@Haiyaa very pleased to hear that you heard the heartbeat yesterday, must be such a relief!

On the second jab front, has anyone gone for it on the first or 2nd trimester or did you all wait until the 3rd? I was told I could get it whenever but I've cancelled it for now as I was too nervous to get it before the viability scan!

DJmum83 · 09/07/2021 10:47

Amazing @Haiyaa so pleased for you.

And @becarefuloutthere congratulations really hope all goes ok with your scan.

@Florence13 how's things with you haven't heard from you in a while?

Things ok with me nearly 25 weeks and massive it's my legs I can't believe the weight I have put on in my thighs.
Had my 24 hour ecg machine on so waiting on results still getting palpitations but not as bad. I'm on 3 iron tablets a day and still low in iron so that's concerning them so might need an injection or transfusion.
Off to get my hair done today can't wait my roots have never been so bad.

Hope everybody else has a good day xx

Kirky658 · 09/07/2021 10:52

@becarefuloutthere yayyyy!!!! You're here ❀️ I had my covid jab at 25 weeks and having the second one hopefully about 34 weeks. Xx

2020mission · 09/07/2021 11:08

Welcome @becarefuloutthere πŸ˜ƒ great to have you here.

I've not had any vaccination yet. I was invited in the first 12 weeks so called to cancel/delay due to being in early pregnancy. I still haven't decided if I'm going to take it. I'm leaning towards waiting until after baby is here right now but that might change depending on my circumstances. At the moment I'm still safely working from home. It also looks like Scotland isn't going to remove the mask wearing in essential places like shops/public transport for a while so I won't have the same risk that there will be in England later this month.

@Kate105 oh I like the price of your pillow! Thanks for sharing.

@lucyrp belly piercing still in? πŸ˜…

lucyrp · 09/07/2021 11:11

@2020mission definitely not πŸ˜‚ it kept getting caught on things and irritated so just took it out, I'm upset I haven't got it in but oh we'll much more comfortable now. Only took it out at around 32 weeks !

@becarefuloutthere yay welcome ! πŸ₯°πŸ’•

2020mission · 09/07/2021 11:12

@lucyrp 32 weeks is pretty good going! I'll see how long I can keep mines in but I'm not confident I'll make it that far haha

becarefuloutthere · 09/07/2021 20:31

@DJmum83 thank you 😊
Ah I hope you get your iron levels up soon, spinach is good for that but I'm sure you know that already. Hope you enjoyed your hair appointment!
@Kirky658 I am indeed! πŸ˜€
Ok good to know, seems most wait to at least be in 2nd trimester then.
@2020mission aw thank you, feeling the love already, amazing ladies πŸ₯°
If I didn't have my first prior to pregnancy I don't think I'd have it at all either. It's good you're still wfh, so am I. And also good that Scotland are keeping that in place a bit longer, must make you feel more protected.
@lucyrp thanks gorgeous, can't believe you only have weeks to go now, eek 😬 how you feeling? How's ds feeling about it?

lucyrp · 09/07/2021 20:41

@becarefuloutthere could be anywhere between 2-5 weeks 😳😳 I've had enough now I'm so ready for them to come 🀣 these last couple of weeks have been so uncomfortable and being on my feet all day in work is testing me😩 I think he's a bit like OH, neither of them will believe it until the baby's here πŸ™ˆ

Florence13 · 09/07/2021 21:46

@becarefuloutthere aww yay!! Welcome ☺️

@DJmum83 thanks for the tag hun sorry fell off the wagon a bit been doing so much overtime at work I haven’t had chance to do anything. Aww sorry to hear about your iron levels. I’m good thank you 22 weeks now.

@lucyrp aww cannot believe your so close to meeting your little one!

Justanothercyster · 10/07/2021 10:01

@Haiyaa awww yay πŸ’•

@lucyrp a decade and marriage will do that to you πŸ˜‚ I don't mind him being near me obvs but get too hot cuddling and all that now, the dog does the job πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€£

@becarefuloutthere yay! I remember you getting your bfp, so glad things seem to be going well, good luck with the scan ⭐️
I had my first jab at 14 weeks and second I'll be 26 weeks :)

@DJmum83 hopefully they'll get the results quickly for you. I remember having one of those things on for 24 hours, was so annoying.

@2020mission I've still got belly ring in but thinking it might have to go soon 😭

Our friends had their baby yesterday and I can wait to meet our little one πŸ₯°πŸ‘ΆπŸ½

@Florence13 I know it's mad isn't it ! Could be any day now !

@Justanothercyster I mean I'm 6 years in so getting there but I don't think I could ever do seperate sleeping arrangements, if he went I. Another room id be crying and asking what id done wrong πŸ˜‚ we've been sweating on each other through the nights because its so hot 🀣

Kiwibabyjourney · 10/07/2021 20:50

Hey @Kirky658 I'm not too bad. Still feeling a bit anxious but not as much as last weekend.
Work has been mental this week, so busy plus a covid case too πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ™„πŸ™„

Only 4 days left though then I've got over a week off, seeing family and telling them the baby news 😁😁

How's everyone doing?

Kirky658 · 10/07/2021 21:04

@kiwibabyjourney aww that's exciting, glad all is OK.

Day one of antenental classes a success, today we covered labour and pain relief, it was so useful! I was surprised by how much we already knew about but it was so on depth. Feeding and post birth parent life tomorrow! Hope everyone's OK. Xx

lucyrp · 11/07/2021 05:49

@Kirky658 is this an NCT course you've paid for and is online ? X

Kirky658 · 11/07/2021 06:57

@lucyrp morning! No it's an actual in person one run by a local midwife called expecting antenatal classes. She's very good x

lucyrp · 11/07/2021 06:59

@Kirky658 oh that's interesting! Maybe I've missed any local ones by me as I'm a second time mum, have been waiting for the MW to let me know about when they're starting but feels like its too late now 😞 x currently waiting for baby to move this morning all I've had so far is hiccups but am worried about reduced movement. Thinking I'm going to have to call soon as it's been 1:15 I've been awake and not felt anything yet

Kirky658 · 11/07/2021 07:04

@lucyrp it's been really good and to be honest opened our eyes a bit. Haven't asked my MW yet as I've heard the NHS ones around here are very poor. Oh hun I'd give them a ring now and see if you can go and be monitored, no point worrying yourself and I bet bub will be kicking away as soon as you get there ❀️

Just realised this morning my fingers are so swollen, time to take of my wedding and engagement ring and I want to cry 😭

lucyrp · 11/07/2021 07:15

@Kirky658 I enjoyed the NHS ones with DS but they were very basic but I met lots of lovely ladies and still in touch with them now as their "babies" go to school with DS so see them every day at the school gates. OH isn't helping and is getting angry with me because I'm stressed and saying I don't need to be stressed because they're never normally awake this early anyway but I didn't feel them much last night either x

Kate105 · 11/07/2021 08:10

@Kirky658 you're so lucky! We don't have any antenatal classes running, either online or in person! The midwife has recommended some online ones but I'm not sure I can face more zoom meetings... Plus won't help me to meet people!

Sorry you're worried this morning @lucyrp definitely get yourself in! They always say that you should just go when you don't feel right xxx

Kirky658 · 11/07/2021 08:14

@lucyrp I'm with @kate105 if it doesn't feel right, please do go in to be checked.

And thanks ladies we are so fortunate to be able to go to them! They were over £100 cheaper than the NCT ones too 😁

lucyrp · 11/07/2021 08:21

@Kate105 baby has moved but still unsure if they're moving as much as they usually do so may go in once I've showered and sent DS off to his dads for the day. Xx

Kate105 · 11/07/2021 09:11

Definitely go in @lucyrp even if it's just for peace of mind. I had the other problem last night- up at 4am with baby feeling like it was doing a washing machine spin cycle in there πŸ™ˆ so tired this morning!

becarefuloutthere · 11/07/2021 09:56

@lucyrp ooh it's so close and exciting now! I hope work ease up on you soon. When does mat leave start? I'm glad you're feeling baby move now, what have you decided to do?
@Florence13 have you found out what you're having?
@Justanothercyster thank you 😊 only one more sleep now and I can finally see if this is real or not! 😬 I'm thinking I'll wait until at least 2nd trimester then. Hope you get to see your friends baby soon!
@Kiwibabyjourney exciting you're telling ppl soon! It's so nice 😊
@Kirky658 sounds like a good day yesterday, I'll be getting stuck into classes once we move.
