Magik01 · 28/04/2021 16:07

Thanks for the new thread @Daffodil21 ☺️

Ladies, for those of you that have already been using cheeky wipes, I’m probably going to buy the set with the mucky and clean box while it’s on offer but I have a few questions!

Does the clean and mucky box fit in all the 25 wipes or does it fit in more?
Is 25 wipes enough or is it worth also buying more while the offer is on?
Do the wipes get smelly just sitting in water? Or do you not put all the wipes in the clean box at once if that makes sense?!

K2a0t1i5e · 28/04/2021 16:09

@Champson So sorry to hear this 😞 Thinking of you and sending lots of love, hope and positivity to you, your little one and family xxx

wimbler · 28/04/2021 16:14

@Magik01 the clean box easily fits all 25 wipes in. the mucky box does if you put them in flat. If you are my husband who puts them in all scrunched up, then they don't all fit. We only started using them at 9ish months and have never felt we needed more than the 25. We don't use them 100% of the time though. I'd say we use them for 80% of nappy changes.

I use the lavender oil mixed with water for the fresh ones and did use the tea tree/lemon oil for the mucky box. We keep ours in our tv unit cupboard in our open plan kitchen/living room as we spend all our time in there and that's where we change her (on the floor). I've never noticed them smelling and they're only 2 inches off the underfloor heating too.

Sending so much love to you, your partner and bucketloads of strength to Holly ❤️ Please look after yourself and reach out for help if you need it. notinthestarsigns · 28/04/2021 19:38

@Champson I am so so sorry for your loss of Emily and Ivy. I will be thinking of Holly and wish you and your family all the very best.

If and when you feel ready to talk to other Mums about the twins I recommend the Sands forum which I found really helpful after a loss at a similar stage xxx

alittlexmasmagic · 28/04/2021 19:50

@Champson echoing what the others say, I'm so sorry to hear things haven't worked out with the twins. Ive been in a similar situation and always here if you need to talk.
Keeping everything crossed for baby Holly and wishing you every strength for the journey ahead xx

hermitzero · 28/04/2021 20:20

Our washing machine is 6 kg, DS will be born this August. My first child. Should I get a washing machine with a bigger capacity like.. 9 kg?

LyraShaeLilly · 28/04/2021 20:34

We don't have a tumble dryer and don't have space for one either, but we use a heated airer which is great.

@hermitzero
Do you have a tumble dryer and will a load that big fit in your dryer? i think if not a 9kg load probably won't fit on an airer either?
