Omg i have been in so much pain, I'm hoping it's trapped wind but it toe curling pain.
Yesterday all day I have a ache pain under my bump put it down to round ligament pain, also my daughter had a op the day before the bags were heavy and I had to lift her and have her on my lap having a meltdown (she has autism). Obvious hubby couldn't come.
So I put it down to possible muscle strain.
Last night the pain was pretty bad and every so often woke up to "contractions" or labour pain. But bump is going hard.

This morning had about 15 of these pains and 15-20 I did pass wind a lot of these for times which made me feel a little better. Sorry tmi.

Then went back to bed hoping that would
Help, it did and the pain was hardly there (although through all this have had pain on my right side). Had a bath and shower, trying to drink plenty. Bump still hurts feels hard all the time. Like a muscle is straining constantly and every so long free get shorting pain. I can't do any thing. My youngest has just had a op and I can't help her.
This is my 4th baby never have I had this. I am going to call the hospital.
I had a urine check only Saturday so doubt it's a uti.

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 10:36

I'm hoping but this is now 24 hours of pain.. not even been able to eat today. I'm so scared. Keep thinking how will I tell the kids and why did I do early.

Sending lots of good vibes op! I had horrific pain at 22 weeks and was so worried at one point I couldn't move my legs! I went into hospital and baby was fine! They never really worked out why I had my pain as everything appeared fine . They treated me with pain relief but after 3 days it went away on its own! It was so weird .

Said bump is now 9 months old and enjoying a morning nap upstairs so keeping everything crossed for you

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 10:41

Thank you. I honestly just can't believe any of this 😢

With all due respect, I think you need to call then asap. Your typing on here, can't you call your maternity unit?

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 10:42

I really can't call till hubby back. Have 3 kids here and can't leave until then. It's a nightmare. I'm hoping they will ask for me to come in. Will need him to drive me

OP posts:
timeisnotaline · 23/04/2021 10:44

Have you a neighbour who could wait with them till he comes? You could get a taxi?

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 10:44

No and my youngest can't mix with anyone for 2 weeks. I can't drive either because of how I feel.

We have no family to help even labour I will be doing on my own.

Horehound · 23/04/2021 10:52

Yes but I think you at least need to call them first and prepare them that you want to come??

OverTheRainbow88 · 23/04/2021 10:57

Call the assessment unit.

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 11:00

Called about 15 mins ago, said to come in, will be a long wait. So bring lunch. 😢. Just hope all is ok.

Call your assessment unit, you can call them and explain your situation to them. They will advise you and be prepared for you to come in once your husband is back.

You really need to phone them, urgently. I know you can't leave yet, but you can phone them

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 11:03

Thanks I have, I knew he wouldn't be long.

Tmi just been for a number 2 and feel a bit better can that cause it?

OP posts:
idontlikealdi · 23/04/2021 11:24

You're extrapolating a lot here - just go and get checked out. Any number of things could be causing / have caused it.

Horehound · 23/04/2021 11:26
Hmm
crispychicken12 · 23/04/2021 11:29

Idk if you're three kids in, you know pregnancy comes with all kinds of aches and pains. If they were serious enough for you to be thinking you're in labour then I'd get checked out, regardless of if you've had a bowel movement or not

EarringsandLipstick · 23/04/2021 11:30

@Becstar90

Braxton Hicks?
Not at 18 weeks. 🙄

This is spot on.

Good luck OP.

Skymum82 · 23/04/2021 11:39

How did you get on?

EvilOnion · 23/04/2021 13:16

I had the same symptoms at around 30 weeks and honestly thought I was in labour, I was admitted and monitored for the day.

Turns out I was seriously constipated and an enema and some prune juice helped ease it Blush

Fingers crossed for you OP
