18 weeks, am I losing the baby?

Omg i have been in so much pain, I'm hoping it's trapped wind but it toe curling pain.
Yesterday all day I have a ache pain under my bump put it down to round ligament pain, also my daughter had a op the day before the bags were heavy and I had to lift her and have her on my lap having a meltdown (she has autism). Obvious hubby couldn't come.
So I put it down to possible muscle strain.
Last night the pain was pretty bad and every so often woke up to "contractions" or labour pain. But bump is going hard.

This morning had about 15 of these pains and 15-20 I did pass wind a lot of these for times which made me feel a little better. Sorry tmi.

Help, it did and the pain was hardly there (although through all this have had pain on my right side). Had a bath and shower, trying to drink plenty. Bump still hurts feels hard all the time. Like a muscle is straining constantly and every so long free get shorting pain. I can't do any thing. My youngest has just had a op and I can't help her.
This is my 4th baby never have I had this. I am going to call the hospital.
I had a urine check only Saturday so doubt it's a uti.

They couldn't (heard it in distance and heard kicks but couldn't get a heart rate). But they are not scanning. But doing a internal hoping my waters have not gone 🤦🏼‍♀️

Honestly I think they are going to check cervix and waters and then tell me to go home. I still feel really anxious. Although maybe i will feel better after tests

If you don't feel any more reassured before you go home ask them to check for the heart rate again. They won't send you off if you say you're still concerned.

I would insist in having a scan, especially if the heart beat wasn’t obviously clear and loud.

A consultant should check your waters are in tact rather than a midwife as you are only 18 weeks pregnant.

It is a consultant I'm waiting for now. Really worried could it cause miscarriage Honesly I'm not strong enough for Thai

I’m by no means an expert but sounds weird them not scanning but checking your waters. You would be more than likely to have felt your waters break.

I had the same experience, they wouldn't scan only performed a test to see if waters had gone (they hadn't) and sent me on my way.

@stressbandit did you have pain? How did the rest of your pregnancy go?

Do you mean the internal scan might cause miscarriage ? I'm sure it won't they're very safe, I had one at 17 weeks to check cervix due to historical issues but I'm fine and still pregnant. Hope they scan for your peace of mind
