Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

So sorry @Dreamer30 ! It's so hard! Try to focus on doing something you enjoy and give yourself plenty of tlc. I have heard you are super fertile after a Mc so fingers crossed if this one doesn't stick, the next month is will bring your rainbow baby xxx

RHODXB · 02/05/2021 13:31

I'm addicted to clearblue digitals! I keep testing as I worry my sickness is disappearing 😩 I need to stop. Has anyone ever had a 3+ keep flashing up before the test settles on 2-3 weeks? Wondering if it means I'm borderline?

I am 34 but will be 35 when baby comes. My other dd is turning 10 just after baby's due date so I am lost 🙈 feel like a first timer!

Giraffe888 · 02/05/2021 13:48

@RHODXB I’m sure I’ve previously read that CB digitalis reach a stage where they don’t go any higher no matter how far you are?

BFirstTimer · 02/05/2021 16:17
@BFirstTimer I’m def in the geriatric camp at 38 (39 next month)!!
I'm turning 37 soon and happy to have the company =D. Been feeling okay so far, totally exhausted, slight cramping, sickness, etc... all my trackers say I was due for my period tomorrow so I think I'm going to feel a bit better once that passes, not that my body somehow kicks into period mode out of habit Grin . How have you been feeling?

Have a first dr. appointment on Thursday, since we're moving I'm going to be seeing someone entirely new. at just over 5 weeks it will still probably be too early to see much...

LSW82 · 02/05/2021 16:44

@BFirstTimer I am exhausted, I haven’t done anything all wknd 🤣 no sickness yet but I’ve read that usually appears around week 6 so we’ll see how that goes!
I’m in Scotland & we just contact the midwife direct to book the 8 week initial appointment, I haven’t done it yet but will probably call at the end of week all being well, when I’ll be 6 weeks - time is dragging 🤣

gigchic · 02/05/2021 17:25

@BFirstTimer yes definitely! Now we've got over the hurdle of getting pregnant we can look forward to the worry involved with staying pregnant! I've been carrying on like normal but I've got so tired so quickly this weekend and the pinching sensation in my stomach isn't good if I try and lift anything so I've had a very slow day today. Not sure about you but it's taking me some time to get my head around what's happening to my body!

BFirstTimer · 02/05/2021 17:45

@gigchic Can DEF relate to the exhaustion... I felt quite bad about it last week because I certainly wasn't very productive at work!! Not great if it continues like this and I have been surprised at myself at how distracted I've let myself become...

@LSW82 Living in Germany so things aren't quite as strict here in terms of appointments, I think she will probably just do a blood test and general consultation, hoping for a scan just to rule out anything totally off (ectopic, etc.)

Hearing about users having 3 MCs on this site is quite alarming, I think it makes it a tad more stressful not knowing how much time one has really, but again, better to remain positive!

Wishing you all a nice evening =D

ami96 · 02/05/2021 18:28

Hey guys,

I tested positive last Tuesday, 5w+2d! Super excited as I will be a FTM, but also super nervous and stressed until the 12 weeks scan. Not had any symptoms other than slight back pain, needing to pass bowel movement more often (TMI) & feeling so sleepy constantly

88Emily · 02/05/2021 18:56

Hey I'm also on my first ivf, FET after icsi. I'm due on the 2nd and also have my first scan on the 18th!

Lakedeal · 02/05/2021 19:20

Hi ladies!

Seems like there's a lovely and supportive group of us already - how exciting! All going well I'm also going to be in the 2 under 2 club with @mummabear20202022 and @thelittlepeanut, I have a little boy whose just turned one.

Not sure of my exact DD as I forgot to track my last cycle 🙈, but I started getting nausea at 5 weeks last time so my best guess is the start of Jan.

I'm keen for a FB group too, I've been in a really nice one for my little boy which was an absolute lifesaver during the pandemic - and it's easier to keep track of different conversations too, I find these long threads really hard if you miss a day or two 🤣

Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next few months x

gigchic · 02/05/2021 19:27

@BFirstTimer yes I've let myself be distracted far too much as well! I'm working from home but will be heading into work more again soon and it's in a microbiology laboratory so I need to do some homework before I head back as I have no idea if it's safe to do what I'm planning. I also don't want to tell people yet so it's going to be tricky! I've booked a private scan as I don't want to wait until 12weeks and it's only £70 which is cheap so put your mind at rest. We don't get to even speak to a midwife until 8 weeks. I'm guessing they just wait to see you until you are through the most tricky stage. 🤞🤞🤞.

mummabear20202022 · 02/05/2021 19:28

@thelittlepeanut yeah my mums a great help! Aww tell me about it, I still had to shift 2 stone as I put on 4 stone with my girl 😩!!

@Lakedeal welcome!! How are you handling the thought of having two babies at different stages? I'm CRAPPING it 🤣 defo interested in a Facebook group too, the one I'm in for my little girl is great!

dano99 · 02/05/2021 19:41

@LadyHalesBroach

5+1 dd is 1st jan, is anyone else just not experiencing symptoms? It’s been a while - my DD was born Dec 16 and I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks last Autumn. Both times I remember being dog tired, but now, nothing. No weird cravings, no nausea... Trying not to freak out that the little bean has stopped cooking.
I am 1 day behind you. 5w DD 2nd January. This is my first so I've nothing to compare to but I'm like you. No symptoms. I had some before (chapped lips and stuffy nose) but even they've gone now. Trying to keep clam. My family doesn't suffer much with morning sickness so trying to reassure myself with that. But even so, the feeling for worry and dread is awful isn't it?! We just have no idea what's going on inside :(
Giraffe888 · 02/05/2021 19:42

I’m soooo bloated today. My trousers have felt so uncomfortable! I was the same with my DS

zeromango · 02/05/2021 19:47

Fatigue had hit like a brick today! And my hairdresser just messaged to say I'll need to wait until the 2nd trimester to have my hair done, I've waited months to see her already because of the pandemic and now another 3 months until second trimester - I'm going to look bloody awful with roots down to my ears again! Grin I know some people say it's safe that's just her policy which is absolutely fine, but I was really looking forward to a pamper! Really hope I actually manage to make twelve weeks (trying to forget about all the worries of previous MCs and just try to keep each day positive!)

mimirouge · 02/05/2021 20:13

Joining as got the BFP today.... would happen to be the day after I've done a gym class (literally never done a gym class before as I am not a fitness person!). We haven't been actively trying but are catholic so not using contraception

Lakedeal · 02/05/2021 20:40

@mummabear20202022 thanks. Bricking it sounds about right 🤣. My little boy never stops either. Not that it's helped me lose the weight from first time round!

I know it will be hard going to begin with, but I'm focusing on the idea of them having ready made playmates in each other ❤️

Zm2019 · 02/05/2021 22:09

I've missed a few days and ive missed so much already.
Looks like there is a few of us in our late 30s this makes me feel so much happier, I haven been worrying about my age. Will be 36 when baby dusty arrives.
I'm 4+3 and today I have felt really tired, thirsty and hungry.
My little boy has been a nightmare today so it's been a hard day. Lol x

I'm the same with due date aswell 🤣 complete guesstimate! If all goes well I will have four, 4 and under, honestly it's great having them so close!
Lakedeal · 03/05/2021 08:43

So glad to hear I'm not the only one @joanna0x!

It's really nice you're enjoying having babies of a similar age, you must have your hands full already with three!

Missingcoffee22 · 03/05/2021 08:45

Oof about 5 weeks and the nausea is kicking in. Like a hangover without any of the fun 🤣

Ralala · 03/05/2021 09:07

Snap @Missingcoffee22. Feeling hungover today

zeromango · 03/05/2021 11:45

Feeling really nauseous today! Does anything ginger related actually help or is it all anecdotal? It's like constant car sickness - But I'm so secretly glad to be having symptoms makes it all feel so much more real Smile

Lakedeal · 03/05/2021 12:13

@Missingcoffee22 and @Ralala I agree - bad hangover here too. Have the in laws round today so doing my best to hide it though.

@zeromango I'm sure you'll end up trying everything! I did first time round 🤣. For me the thing that helps the most is small regular meals through the day though I stop eating about 6:30 pm or I get indigestion.

I'm thinking about asking for medication this time round - last time I had bad nausea right up to the end of the second trimester 😩. Has anyone tried any?

mimirouge · 03/05/2021 12:29

I think I might be due 11th Jan and I am 34 now.
