Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

LSW82 · 01/05/2021 21:03

@Dreamer30 sending best wishes. The wait is tough, rest & look after yourself x

zeromango · 01/05/2021 21:06

@Dreamer30 so so sorry for you Thanks keep us posted if you can and fingers crossed it may be ok x

PT8998 · 01/05/2021 21:10

Hey!

Not managed to read all of the replies, but I am (according to EDD calculators) also an 1st Jan EDD!

I am expecting my first, from a frozen embryo transfer (first IVF round). My first scan is May 18th.
Today I had some spotting and a couple of strongish pains across uterus/pubis area. Slightly scary and now in a slight bit of panic! :(

Hope everyone is doing okay with their pregnancies so far!

PT8998 · 01/05/2021 21:12

@Dreamer30 I am just catching up with the thread as only just joined. I am so sorry you are experiencing this! I am sending you lots of hugs and, as others have said, be kind to yourself! xx

TinyTickler · 02/05/2021 06:37

@Dreamer30 how are you this morning ?

Dreamer30 · 02/05/2021 07:13

Thank you all for being so nice 💐
@TinyTickler much the same. Been up a few times during the night and it's still as it was, only now with tiny clots. I've had worse on a period but each time I check it's a little more and my cramps are stronger.
I'm not really sure how much I should be seeing passing as it'd be 5w+3 today but on Sunday I got a bfp with CBD and it was 1-2 weeks (3-4), then when I done one at 5w it was still the same. So I'm thinking things had already stopped growing already.

LadyHalesBroach · 02/05/2021 07:17

5+1 dd is 1st jan, is anyone else just not experiencing symptoms? It’s been a while - my DD was born Dec 16 and I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks last Autumn. Both times I remember being dog tired, but now, nothing. No weird cravings, no nausea... Trying not to freak out that the little bean has stopped cooking.

Aquarius93 · 02/05/2021 07:17

@Dreamer30 so sorry to hear you’re going through that, it must be beyond heartbreaking. Sending hugs your way x

Ralala · 02/05/2021 07:30

@Dreamer30 sorry to hear this. Sadly I have had 2 losses. One at 9 weeks (no heartbeat) and ectopic at 8 weeks. My bleeding varied widely with both. Sometimes the body reabsorbs a lot of things too and you will only experience a light bleed. Xxx

BriFirstTimer · 02/05/2021 08:34

H, I would love to join too, I am 4+4 so would be expecting around Jan 9, 2022! First time for me so I don't know what to expect, also don't want to get too excited yet in case I MC, but it's hard not to get excited!

@IAmFourEels same here about the alcohol, I have a few weddings coming up that might be able to take place outside, so I will need to be a bit sneaky about no wine!

Hope things are progressing nicely for everyone =D

Mini82 · 02/05/2021 08:48

Hi All,

I've had my bfp on Weds following ivf, I felt really positive as the lines on my frer were the darkest I've ever had (4 previous losses no children) however the clinic are testing my hcg levels and even though they are rising they are not doubling.
Anyone got any advice? Good or bad x

BFirstTimer · 02/05/2021 09:25

Hi @gigchic I'm also late 30s and a first time, want to keep in touch? My dd is 9 Jan =D

Any other "geriatrics" in the thread? =)

Nashsophie13 · 02/05/2021 09:32

Morning everyone hope your all doing ok today ❤️ I was just wondering if anyone had any food tips for me. I think I’m about 4 weeks pregnant and want to try and be the healthiest I can be without it being to boring x

Missingcoffee22 · 02/05/2021 09:52

@Nashsophie13 overall just a balanced diet is what you want - lots of veg, protein, healthy fats. Iron rich foods are great also. But also be kind to yourself. Sometimes the 1st trimester nausea and a perfect diet do not go hand in hand 🥴 I've heard, and found, that eating little and often can really help with that!

Nashsophie13 · 02/05/2021 10:08

@Missingcoffee22 thank you babe, I’m not to bad at the moment I have waves of feeling a little bit sick but I don’t know if it’s in my head, feeling abit in limbo as I don’t feel any different right now apart from being bloated, have to keep reminding myself I am x

Giraffe888 · 02/05/2021 10:46

@Mini82 my hcg didn’t double with my DS but it did keep increasing and all was ok

Since yesterday morning my mouth is so dry no matter how much I drink!

TinyTickler · 02/05/2021 11:03

35. I think that puts me in the geriatric category too... Confused Baby number 2 over here though.

For now I'm just focussing on proper meals, whole foods etc... if this is anything like my first pregnancy weeks 6-16 will just be whatever doesn't make me want to vomit.

It sounds like you've had a tough journey so far. No advice but hoping this is your rainbow.
DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 02/05/2021 11:32

@Giraffe888 I'm the same - literally drinking pints of squash and it isn't quenching my thirst. Waking up in the night for a drink too which I never do!

LSW82 · 02/05/2021 11:49

@BFirstTimer I’m def in the geriatric camp at 38 (39 next month)!!

Giraffe888 · 02/05/2021 12:24

I’m 35 this year and this is my second child

Giraffe888 · 02/05/2021 12:47

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese the worst part about it is that it means I need the toilet more 😂 I’m not complaining as I tell myself that having symptoms is a good sign!

mums2boys · 02/05/2021 13:23

Im also due 1st Jan 2022. Had a mmc a few months ago so im terified of it happening again.
