Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@Missingcoffee22 @thelittlepeanut thank you both! Will just call Monday and see how it works here (last pregnancy was in a totally different county!) so will see what they say. Smile congratulations to everyone on here! It's so exciting

Ralala · 01/05/2021 06:48

Good morning ladies, how are we all today? I’m doing ok other than a little more sleepy in the evenings and feeling bloated in my jeans. I hate the bloat stage!

TinyTickler · 01/05/2021 06:52

Morning all - tentatively joining with very faint positive tests today / yesterday. Period only due today so we will see... this will be baby number 2 for us, my daughter is a December 2016 baby. Due date calculator would give me a due date of 8 January.

Joanna0x · 01/05/2021 09:12

@ralala morning! Feeling nauseous, back ache and bloated, none of my trousers are fitting me properly at the moment! Can't wait until I can switch into maternity clothes

88Emily · 01/05/2021 09:22

Hi I'm new here, due on 2nd January, first baby after a long journey including IVF. Hope everyone is having a good bank holiday weekend
!

penny92 · 01/05/2021 09:28

Hi everyone. Tentatively joining! Also have a 1st January 2022 due date Smile Feeling symptoms super strong with waves of queasiness, some mild cramping and lower back ache.

I’m 29, living in London, and this is my second pregnancy but my first ended in an early MC. This time I have had much stronger lines on tests which is already making me feel so much more positive but still a little anxious.

Hope everyone is getting on okay?

RHODXB · 01/05/2021 09:51

Having constant dreams of bleeding in the night waking me up! Not nice. Feeling nauseous anytime my stomach is empty and so much saliva 🤮trying to stay positive that these are good signs that things are developing 🤞very bloated too! Really hoping to keep things under wraps
For as long as possible. Just accepted a promotion at work as I was told I would wasn't likely to get pregnant. Had my second vaccine dose this month too so very worried

Missingcoffee22 · 01/05/2021 10:33

@penny92 I am London based too (well just!) but my 2nd, and am 28.

@ralala I feel like I have a very low level hangover. Which I guess is a taste of things to come.. I remember the 1st trimester being a 4 month hangover last time.

MerlinK4 · 01/05/2021 11:12

5 weeks today, I feel like time is passing way too slowly! I can't wait for my booking in appointment, I just want to feel like the process is underway.

Been having some slight cramping, like period pain, which I usually feel in my lower abdomen and upper thighs. Hopefully this is normal. Some loss of appetite, feeling apprehensive about sickness.

Hope you ladies are all doing well.

zeromango · 01/05/2021 15:16

4 weeks today, finally out of the 3's! Haha any level up in weeks makes me happy but it is dragging already! Booked in a private scan for when I'm 8 weeks for some reassurance. @MerlinK4 I've also had the upper thigh pain and had it in my last pregnancy too and it was the only that finally stuck so I like to think it's the body getting all geared up!

LSW82 · 01/05/2021 15:31

Hi everyone, congrats on all the BFPs. I’ve been reading since the thread started but first post. I got my BFP last Sunday but after a mc at 7 wks in Jan I’m very anxious & hoping this one sticks. Will be baby number 1 for us, I’ve had slight cramping, lower back pain & pain in thighs but nothing too severe. Due date on app is 31/12 but would Evie t it to be a bit later on a dating scan. 5wks1day!

LolasTheme641 · 01/05/2021 17:44

Hi all! Can I join in? I’m due 7th Jan (ish), and it’ll be my second. Already have a 4yo girl.

I was in a FB group when I had my daughter and made some of my closest friends. Would like to join another for this one but would also like to wait a little while, and only interested in groups that are full of preggos (as another poster suggested!)

Giraffe888 · 01/05/2021 17:54

Evening all

Another one joining! Got my very strong bfp yesterday with a due date of 4th Jan

I’ve got a DS who is 21 months old

My mouth has been so dry today and feel thirsty constantly! Tummy a little bloated but no other symptoms

Nashsophie13 · 01/05/2021 18:07

Aw so nice to find this thread congratulations to you all :) I found out Wednesday with a clear blue 1-2 weeks, my last period was on the 25th of March but my cycle has been about 38-40 days since last September I unfortunately had a Mc, does anyone know what that makes my due date roughly? Also how long does it take to get your first midwife appointment through? Any tips for early pregnancy send them my way ❤️

Giraffe888 · 01/05/2021 18:33

@Nashsophie13 congratulations. With an average of 38 day cycle your due date is 9th Jan x

Ralala · 01/05/2021 18:34

@LolasTheme641 that was me that suggested it . The posts with the weird Facebook link have now been deleted . Absolutely would love a fb group but once I’m further along xxx

Dreamer30 · 01/05/2021 18:53

Hi girls. I posted yesterday about spotting and it's now turned bright red and is no longer spotting, but like a period. I called the EPAU and just as I suspected, it's too early to be scanned etc. She said to take a couple of paracetamol and use a hot water bottle for the cramps (the usual) and call back if I start to fill a pad within half an hour. Otherwise take a pregnancy test at 6w and if it's still positive I'll be seen.
Just absolutely devastating 😔 I've never had a mc before and felt hopeful for the future. I don't see a positive outcome from this

thelittlepeanut · 01/05/2021 18:53

@mummabear20202022 so nice that your mum can help, does she live close by then? Yeah it's been tough, the nausea has been so much worse this time around and my little boy is so active he wants to constantly be on the move 🙈 the only thing that helps is eating and I still haven't shifted the baby weight from the last pregnancy so it's only going to get worse! Hopefully running around 2 after 2 will get me back into shape for next summer 😂

thelittlepeanut · 01/05/2021 19:04

So sorry you're going through this @Dreamer30 it's so tough to have all your hopes shattered so easily. I've been through it before and know how devastating it is! Be kind to yourself 🤍 thinking of you x

Clarkey86 · 01/05/2021 19:34

Oh @Dreamer30 I’m so sorry. The watch and wait period is just so stressful. Keep chatting to us. X

Nashsophie13 · 01/05/2021 19:44

Thank you @Giraffe888 and @Dreamer30 I’m so sorry to hear this I hope your ok. I know exactly how it feels, look after yourself. My inbox is always open x

Missingcoffee22 · 01/05/2021 19:53

So sorry @Dreamer30. Thinking of you.

Giraffe888 · 01/05/2021 19:54

@Dreamer30 I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. You never know, please look after yourself and rest x

MrsFLongbottom · 01/05/2021 20:04

@Dreamer30 I’m so sorry you’re having to o through that. I had some heavyish red bleeding with my first pregnancy and it did all turn out to be ok, it’s a nightmare with not being able to be seen but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. Take care of yourself and get some rest xxx

Dreamer30 · 01/05/2021 20:09

Thank you for your kind words ladies ❤ I guess I just never thought this would happen to me, but that's naive as who ever does eh 😔
My cramps are a bit more severe now, kind of like a bad period. In bed already just taking it easy and hoping for the best I suppose
