Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

Hey, I’ve been lurking here for a while but tentatively posting.
I’m about 5+4, due around Jan 15th. This little bean is a long waited IVF miracle and I can barely let myself believe that I got that BFP.
I’m pretty much exhausted all the time, fortunately I only work mornings but I pretty much crash out by 3pm! I’m not having too much issue with nausea but is anyone else constantly bloated? I have all of the indigestion and constipation!

gigchic · 16/05/2021 17:26

I went for a coffee with a friend this morning and cursed myself as I said I wasn't feeling too bad. Now this afternoon the tiredness and sickness has gone up a notch again! Every day is different for me so it's useless planning anything. I've got my Grandmas funeral Wednesday and it's going to be a hard day as it is but I'll also have to fake drinking all day and fake feeling well all day! It's going to be hard work!

IVFbabyF · 16/05/2021 17:38

I am so glad I have found this group. I am currently 6+5 due around 3rd January and struggling with nausea, dizziness and extreme tiredness. Happy I am not the only one! Has anyone got any tips? Also massive congratulations to everyone on BFP!

dano99 · 16/05/2021 19:10

Congratulations to everyone!! I hope you all have a lovely pregnancy with your sticky beans!! ❤️

Update from me: I had a early scan that has left me feeling very anxious. Going off my last period I am 7 weeks today. However at my scan the lady said she could see a sack, yolk and very small baby with no visible heartbeat. She told me my dates must be wrong and I’m measuring 5 weeks. This was a shock. Since coming home my paperwork actually says 3.3mm =

BunBunMum · 16/05/2021 19:29

@dano99 sorry you’re worried. How certain on your dates are you? Fingers crossed everything is ok xx

dano99 · 16/05/2021 19:45
@dano99 sorry you’re worried. How certain on your dates are you? Fingers crossed everything is ok xx
I was so certain on our dates as this pregnancy was more a spontaneous idea and we only dtd on two days cd 13 & 14.
My cycles used to be bang on 28 but since stopping the pill 1 year ago they've been varying about 28-32. More recently being 28. The only thing giving me hoping is maybe I had a longer cycle. But I don't understand how it might affect it by 2 weeks 🥺 I had a implantation bleed cd 26 before getting a positive test on cd 28. My test have all progressed really well and really strong so this came as a shock.

My last period was 28th March and I got a positive test 25th April.

No clue on ovulation but I'm 99% sure I implanted on 22nd April as I had a small bleed which I thought was my period but after popping a tampon in I saw nothing more of it and I got a positive test on the 25th April

Clarkey86 · 16/05/2021 19:57

@dano99 If you implanted on the 22nd, and you add two weeks to that, it puts you at 5wks 3days which sounds right for the scan?

Clarkey86 · 16/05/2021 19:59

Oh sorry I’m mixing implantation and ovulationSad

That said if you implanted quite quickly you might still only be just over 6 weeks. Try to stay positive, everything is so small at this point it’s so hard to be fully accurate.

MerlinK4 · 16/05/2021 20:15

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese late to the party but also struggling and not enjoining the pregnancy experience. I was so naive, had no idea I could feel so sick and exhausted so early. Big respect to everyone looking after children too, I'm struggling to get though work!

NightDreaming · 17/05/2021 11:38

Morning. Hope you are all feeling ok. Having felt rubbish for a few days had my first nausea over the weekend. Which wasn’t nice but tried to take it as a good sign.

This morning I had an early scan and I just wanted to share the good news with you all. Baby currently all seems fine. Measuring 7wks which is what we expected and we saw the heart beating ❤️. So relieved. I had a little cry. Having been trying 3 years with 3MC in a row these passed few weeks have seem so tense. Not out of the woods yet, but feeling on a more normal leave of risk, rather then high MC risk. Feel like I could cry some more while I write this.

Thinking of you all xx

@NightDreaming that’s amazing news, glad all is well. 🥰

BunBunMum · 17/05/2021 12:11

@NightDreaming that’s great!

golddustgirly · 17/05/2021 12:20

Hi All. Hope it’s ok to join, I don’t really know mumsnet etiquette! Long time lurker, first time poster. After a long time trying, and two MCs, we found our last week that we are expecting. Due January 11th. Trying to stay calm and yet not have raised expectations. I will say though, this time feels slightly different.

I feel absolutely exhausted, and I don’t know whether this is normal? I’m only 5W6D.
Hope everyone is feeling well!

Barbs96 · 17/05/2021 12:45

Hello, first pregnancy here, i am 25 and have been trying for over a year, currently 6 weeks on the dot from my private scan, but 7 weeks from LMP. Had a bit of brown occasional discharge which is a it worrying but told its normal. Any tips from mothers welcome Blush
Also had breast soreness around week 4 onwards but no symptoms now

MrsGxx · 17/05/2021 13:01

Hi ladies :) hope you don’t mind me posting here but I have just found out I am pregnant although no idea how far along. I was on the mirena coil for 6 years which I had out last September & went straight onto the pill which I came off in February.
I think... I conceived early April 4-10th how far gone would this make me?🤦🏻‍♀️ No good at calculating.
I’m sick, dizzy, and headache all day everyday 😢

golddustgirly · 17/05/2021 13:14

Hi!
Congrats. Judging by your conception dates, comparing to mine, I would imagine you’re almost 8 weeks now, possibly due between Christmas and New Years?
Your GP should be able to give you a better indication.

Hope you feel better soon, I’d recommend peppermint tea for the nausea.

ReginaaPhalange · 17/05/2021 13:28

Hello! May I join?

Got my bfp yesterday at approx 9/10dpo. EDD is 27th January.

Feeling twinges etc so I'm super anxious already!!

HforHavana · 17/05/2021 14:12

@NightDreaming that amazing!! Congrats! Can I ask if you had an internal scan? I'm 7 weeks tomorrow going by my last period and have a viability scan on Wednesday. Just wondering whether it will be internal or not xx

Ruthsoph · 17/05/2021 14:40

@NightDreaming I too have been plagued with numerous miscarriage's but never 3 in a row as i have a child in between - i am currently 4 weeks 4 days and i was wondering if the doctors/hosp had put you on any medications due to your miscarriage's
i have contacted my fetal medical department at my hosp regarding this but just wondered what i could expect
its a very anxious time xx

NightDreaming · 17/05/2021 14:54

@HforHavana mine was external. They did say they might have to do internal but it was big enough to be seen with a basic scan.

@Ruthsoph I’ve not been on any medication, just usual folic acid. My last mis was in December so I’d done some blood tests with my GP and they had just referred me on. My initial referral appointment happened to be booked in for 2 wks after my current BFP. I’m now going to be scanned every 2 weeks until the 12wk scan.

Congrats and good luck both of you. xx

Missingcoffee22 · 17/05/2021 15:35

Congratulations and welcome to all the new BFPs 🙂

L1ttleb1t · 17/05/2021 17:04

Hey guys - this actually helps! Was feeling queasy so tried it... The tens stimulation feels tingly but my nausea is now mild.

I’ve got an early dating scan in an hour and my bladder is so full right now. Do I risk going for a wee or literally waiting ages? 😬

I'd go for a wee then have a big glass of water - your bladder should fill up again by the time of the scan :)

Hope it goes well xx

Windowsinthewest · 17/05/2021 19:08

Hi ladies!

Been reading the comments since my last post so just catching up hope everyone is doing okay?

Starting to feel so nauseous in the mornings but no sick so far. Feel really lethargic too...not tired that I could fall asleep but just zero energy or motivation. Does anyone have cramping? Mine vary between none to mild to kind of strong. I’ve called nhs 111 and spoke to two doctors who both said it was normal and weren’t concerned as I am not bleeding but it’s really annoying. Exactly like a period pain. Anyone else in the same boat?
