Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

Ladies can any of you help me at all. I’ve woken up this morning and I’m bleeding, no cramping just bleeding. Having had a recent miscarriage I assumed it was happening again as it looked similar. I know I need to call the drs but was just looking for some reassurance. I’ve done a clear blue test that I had left and it’s still reading 3+ How long do you think it would change for that to change if I was miscarrying again? Last time my tests had gone really faint even Before I bled and clear blue only ever read 1-2 even though I was 6 weeks. Don’t know if I’m just clutching at straws here and trying to find a positive

LadyShmuck · 14/05/2021 11:11

@deaconsmummy my 2 boys are similar ages to yours and I'm very unsure about how they'll take the news. You get very used to just being you little 'unit' I think. Plus it's a bit out of the blue since their dad and I split last year. I'm sure things will work out for us.

TinyTickler · 14/05/2021 11:38

@1986mum so sorry to hear this. I don't have any advice other than you should call your gp. Hoping all turns out fine xx

Emc16x · 14/05/2021 11:39

@deaconsmummy I came off depo in September 2019. Cannot believe what it did to my body...never ever again!

Congratulations on your bfp! I’m the same. Sat here now with cramping but hoping that’s baby growing! We’re in week 5 now and have a heartbeat Xx

1986mum · 14/05/2021 11:42

Thank you @TinyTicklerI’ve called the gp they’ve referred me to epu I have to do a pregnancy test Monday and call them back and they will make me an appointment for a scan I’m assuming fingers crossed ay

Emc16x · 14/05/2021 11:44

@1986mum call doctors and try to remain calm & positive (I know it’s easier said than done) how far along should you be now? They may be able to get you in for an early scan xxxx

1986mum · 14/05/2021 11:51

@Emc16x this is the thing I have no idea my last miscarriage was 6 weeks ago ( I wasn’t expecting to get caught straight after) so I’ve dated that as my last period clear blue says 3+ which makes it 5+ which would work out about right but I can’t be 100% sure. Hopefully Monday will shine some light it’s just going to make for another long weekend .Thanks for the well wishes

marnh18 · 14/05/2021 16:51

Been to the EPU today as i had some spotting and pains and i saw a little baby in there! She said it was too early to see a heartbeat yet. I should be 5+5 today but measuring 5+1. Got to go back in 2 weeks to make sure all is okay but I'm feeling much more positive after actually seeing a little baby!

mimirouge · 14/05/2021 18:14

Can anyone recommend a pregnancy app? I had pink pad for fertility checking. Id like something to keep a track

Emc16x · 14/05/2021 18:24

@mimirouge I’m using the pregnancy+ app :) I love it

LilmissCa · 14/05/2021 18:36

I'm using pregnancy+ too

LadyHalesBroach · 14/05/2021 18:59

Booking appointment done, private early scan tomorrow... now it feels real!

Nice to see everyone’s updates, and lots more bfps! We’re not even half way through the month and already so many xx

TinyTickler · 14/05/2021 21:29

@1986mum virtually holding your hand over the weekend. Have you got plans to try keep your mind off things?

LadyHalesBroach · 15/05/2021 10:47

Just had scan to try and get a date (due to long cycles) and it’s put me a week behind what I thought I was going from day of conception. Has anyone experienced similar where they were sure they were 7 weeks but actually only 6? It’s freaked me out. Scanning again in 2 weeks to check growing ok.

1991kp · 15/05/2021 11:08

Hi All.
After long term use of the contraceptive pill, I was diagnosed with pcos. My cycles were often 70+ days. I was put on medication and the first month we conceived but unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy. We Had a month's break and were fortunate enough to conceive again. My pregnancy test went from 1-2 2-3 3+ which gave me some hope that this pregnancy is different. 2 days later I started spotting brown. I absolutely broke down thinking it was happening again, I contacted my local early pregnancy unit which were amazing and scanned me. Luckily the pregnancy was in the right place yolk sac was seen but too early to see anything else at this stage. I was measuring 5w which would make my due date 13th Jan 2022. They are scanning me again in 2 weeks to check there is a little heartbeat. I have been a nervous wreck, constantly knicker checking and every twinge I feel this is the end. I envy people who can relax and enjoy, I am just expecting the worse. X

Missingcoffee22 · 15/05/2021 11:51

@1991kp I'm so sorry to hear about your previous chemical. Unfortunately I don't think many people feel relaxed in pregnancy, especially in the 1st trimester when you haven't got a clue how baby is doing. Sending lots of positive vibes to you and little bean.

dunkedbiscuit · 15/05/2021 13:56

Hello, tentatively joining please..got a BFP this morning, so still in a bit if shock! EDD around 21st Jan I think

This would be #2 for us, we've got one DS age 2

Lovely to share this journey with you all!

L1ttleb1t · 15/05/2021 14:05

Hi everyone

Nervously joining in... got my BFP today at 12 dpo but period isn't due until tomorrow and I'm a geriatric 39 so I'm trying to be realistic.

I have waves of nasuea and heart burn already - had awful morning sickness with my daughter so I'm feeling a bit anxious about the next few weeks and going through that again.

We're due 24th Jan, I think.

marnh18 · 15/05/2021 15:24

@LadyHalesBroach i should have been 5+5 weeks yesterday and had a scan yday that measured 5+1 Ive also got to go back in 2 weeks. My measurements with my DD was off by about week and shes fine so I'm not worried

DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 15/05/2021 19:54

Is anyone else just really not enjoying being pregnant so far? I feel awful saying it but I seriously feel awful Sad

BabyBunnyMama · 15/05/2021 20:06

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese I'm not enjoying it either. I have a 2 year old and finding it a real struggle to manage looking after her, the house and work while feeling so tired and sick all day long. Doesn't help she has a bad cold and been up all of last night coughing so had about 3 hours sleep 😭

It's a very much wanted pregnancy but starting to doubt how I'm going to cope now and feel awful thinking that too. I'm hoping it will pass once we get out of the first trimester but that feels like ages away!

DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 15/05/2021 20:19

@BabyBunnyMama I don't even know how I'd cope with a toddler. It must be so difficult for you. Sad

I'm the same, absolutely floored by sickness and I don't feel like eating anything so I'm just snacking on crap. DP is being great but I usually do the cooking so he's eating crap/takeaways too.

The housework is piling up and I hate mess. If I'm not feeling sick, I'm being sick and if I'm not being/feeling sick I'm asleep because the meds are making me drowsy.

BabyBunnyMama · 15/05/2021 21:11

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese Ah I feel exactly the same honestly. I just can't stomach the thought of anything remotely healthy but hoping the pregnancy vitamins will do their thing until I'm feeling better and can think about what I'm eating more. Also same with the housework. I'd normally be the one who keeps on top of it more and DH is trying his best to juggle everything but it just adds to the stress a bit when the house is messy ☹️

Bless you, I've been lucky enough not to actually vomit just feeling sick and gagging so far so I feel for you. From my past pregnancy experience it did get better from about 13 weeks so we just gotta hang in there and take it day by day I think ❤️

littlelots123 · 15/05/2021 21:35

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese I feel the same way! Second time round is harder with a 3 year old running round! Im just not enjoying it at the moment!

cakecakecheese · 15/05/2021 21:36

I had a faint line yesterday following a frozen embryo transfer. I think I'd be due around 20th January but I can really think about that just yet as I had an MMC in December and I'm absolutely bricking it tbh.
