Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

Welcome to all the new joiners!

I’ve had some brown spotting this morning so I’ve rang the GP and got an appt at EPAU tomorrow morning

I did have this with my DS so praying that all is ok this time too x

MrsFLongbottom · 12/05/2021 12:48

So many BFPs! Congratulations everyone 😊

@HforHavana I’m lunchtime to be working at home, so I had a nap at lunch time. Last time I was in the office and if it got really bad I sat in my car and had a nap there- or if the office is quiet do you have a designated breastfeeding room you could take advantage of? (Assuming nobody needs it for pumping etc). If you’re on your own I’d just play the radio online on your computer too if you want to!

@BabyFrank22 sounds like you’ve had a tough time and the last few weeks too- fingers crossed but sounds very positive now! Yay!

How’s everyone getting on with booking in? It feels like ages since I told my midwives and still no letter, but it’s actually not that long haha

MrsFLongbottom · 12/05/2021 12:49

@HforHavana lucky to work from home not lunchtime 😂 I’ve clearly got food on the brain despite eating my weight in crackers earlier

Pinkjellies · 12/05/2021 13:15

@LilmissCa

On the vaccine front I got the AstraZeneca a week before I found out I was pregnant.. obvs wouldn't have, and the AZ isn't even being offered to my age group now where I live (Northern Ireland). The doc tried to reassure me but didn't quite work lol the 2nd I'll be over 12 weeks but still unsure bout getting the AZ again!

@Nashsophie13 sorry to hear your spotting, maybe you could get in touch with EPU/doctor? They should offer an early scan after the last MMC & this spotting. Obvs not all spotting /bleeding means bad outcomes. Really stressful for you.. hugs

I had the AZ the day I conceived! Also in Northern Ireland. Unsure what to do about second dose now. Are you going ahead with yours?
Motherbride · 12/05/2021 13:32

@HforHavana I feel you on the tiredness front. It’s really affecting me this time. I find from about 2pm I’m useless, struggle to keep my eyes open if I sit down and I’ve actually fallen asleep for 5 mins in the middle of the day 3 times already! Not sure how I’m going to cope if it gets any worse as I have a very busy lifestyle and already have sleep deprivation from my 7mo!

@Flowerchild547 I also have bad anxiety, part of it is health anxiety which obviously isn’t great when pregnant and feeling all sorts going on! I don’t have any real advice I’m afraid other than stay off Google, and if you are concerned about anything call your midwife, it’s what she’s there for and she really won’t mind.

LilmissCa · 12/05/2021 13:43

@Pinkjellies
I'm not decided just yet, I have to July to make up my mind. I am hoping no more bad reports of AstraZeneca come out before then! I would like to get it and be fully vaccinated as I def think the risk of covid is more.
When are you due the 2nd?

NightDreaming · 12/05/2021 13:56

I had my first vaccine awhile ago, meant to be having 2nd this week. I’m definitely not having a second one until after 1st trimester but might not have it at all. After 3MC I just don’t want to do anything where it might affect baby. Even if it was unconnected, if something were to happen I would forever blame myself. I would probably feel different if I’d not already miscarried.

gigchic · 12/05/2021 15:13

@MrsFLongbottom I'm not allowed to book in until I'm 7 weeks so at the moment no health professional even knows I'm pregnant! I find it amazing. Doctors surgery didn't even want to put it on my notes. I'm 38 and it's my first so I'm feeling quite unsupported. Thankfully no issues as yet but wouldn't even know what to do if I did as GP receptionist didn't want to talk to me about anything pregnancy related and just said I have to wait until I'm 7 weeks.

@HforHavana I also get to mid afternoon and start wanting to fall asleep! I go outside and get some fresh air but I am a lot less productive in the afternoons. I fell asleep on my office floor yesterday afternoon! 😂🤦‍♀️

epiduralplease · 12/05/2021 15:17

@Flowerchild547 I don't think I'm managing well to be honest, I do feel slightly better now that morning sickness has kicked in but I feel very on edge all of the time and I'm constantly tissue checking in the bathroom.

mimirouge · 12/05/2021 16:32

Anyone else get evening/afternoon sickness rather than morning?

marnh18 · 12/05/2021 17:12

Im totally with you all on the tiredness! I can't get through the day at the moment without either having a nap on my days off or literally forcing myself to stay awake at work. I really don't know how I've been driving home without falling asleep.

MrsRyan15 · 12/05/2021 17:40

@mimirouge

Anyone else get evening/afternoon sickness rather than morning?
Yes, I'm getting it all throughout the day. I have found that snacking regularly seems to help keep the sicky feeling under control though.
DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 12/05/2021 17:50

@mimirouge mine was initially worse in the evenings and even sometimes in the middle of the night I'd wake up feeling deathly sick. It seems to come in waves now.

Hope everyone is well Smile

deaconsmummy · 12/05/2021 17:54

Hi guys due 21/1/22
Period was due yesterday but my boobs have been agony for days , constipated and headaches ... now I’m getting like little twinges all over my back and tummy like wee stitches n cramps and I’m freaking out at every one
3 pregnancy have two wee boys age 13 and 9 so feeling that it’s new to me again x

deaconsmummy · 12/05/2021 17:55

Aw god I meant to add done test yesterday and got BFP instantly very strong line and a digital

LadyShmuck · 12/05/2021 18:27

Accidental pregnancy here, got the positive today but I've known since maybe 2 days after conception, I just knew, it was so strange. Had a little accidental shag with exH a few weeks back and apparently I'm incredibly fertile. Already have 2 boys age 9 and 12 so I very much thought my baby days are over.

I've not told anyone yet, not even exH so that should be interesting when the time comes.

I'm oddly calm and maybe even a bit excited even though I've spent at least 5 years saying I'd never have another one. Instead I'm here like a bad soap opera. I'm bloody 35 too so old enough to know better!

I think due date is 11th Jan based on conception date but I've been taking no notice of cycles etc.

To add to the complications I had weight loss surgery 6 months ago so I'm hoping that doesn't cause any issues.

Anyway, looking forward to going on this journey with all of you!

Missingcoffee22 · 12/05/2021 19:50

Exactly the same here!

DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 12/05/2021 19:52

@LadyShmuck oh bless you Grinwhat's meant to be will find it's way! What do you think ExDh will say? Congrats Smile

LadyShmuck · 12/05/2021 20:17

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese I suspect he'll be very disappointed by the news, he'll get over it when the baby arrives.

Im going to hold off telling him until I've had a chance to absorb things properly anyway. It feels a bit mean but ultimately it's my decision.

marnh18 · 13/05/2021 09:55

Really feeling the nausea today! Only 5+4 so quite shocked I'm already feeling these symptoms. With DD i didn't start feeling nauseous until nearly 7 weeks so wasn't expecting it just yet. Had no symptoms with my miscarriage so i suppose its nice to be having symptoms this time around!

zeny · 13/05/2021 10:50

Hi everyone, I got my positive at the weekend due 17/1/21. Had a very strong positive at 13dpo and yesterday at 16dpo my clear blue digital showed 3+, unsure why my levels are high as we only dtd once in my fertile period this month!
