Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@NightDreaming

Hi All. I first posted on here 2 weeks ago (due 1st Jan) and then stopped. I’ve had 3 misses in a row between this one and my 2nd child who is 5yrs old. So although I’ve kept myself update with what’s been going on with all of you I’ve felt too nervous to message. Just didn’t want to jinx anything. However today sickness feeling has really started to kick in. I’ve been crazy tired for passed two weeks but having this extra symptom (which although is horrible) is feeling like a reassuring sign. Not been ill yet, which I wouldn’t mind, just dislike the on going rumbling of feeling ill.

Sending love to all. And to @penny92 you are amazing. Growing 3 babies is hard work, your body is incredible. I know someone who had triplets. No previous children. One thing she said to me when they were 9months was as she wasn’t going to have any more kids she learnt to enjoy (or at least see the best in) any stage. The good the bad & the ugly. She would only go though teething once, first steps once, the sleepless nights once, first words, first holidays, first time at the beach, chickpox once, ok you get the idea. But it really did make each stage manageable and special. She really zoned into it, focused on her babies and enjoy the time with them all. Hope that’s somehow helps it what must be an amazing but scary time.

xx

Thank you so much - that truly touched me. What a wonderful way to look at it. I hope I can have half the positivity as your friend.

LilmissCa · 11/05/2021 16:32

@Puppymamababymama

Hi ladies I'm 4 weeks and 4 days today. Just found out I was pregnant on Friday! Super excited, this would be my first and I'm a little nervous!
We're due date pals! I'm 4w5d now today ☺️
marnh18 · 11/05/2021 16:58

Had some very light spotting but I'm not too worried, i had it with my pregnancy with DD!
When is everyone thinking of telling people their good news? I would really like to wait until 20 weeks but i worry that as its my second baby i may start showing quite soon. I didn't start showing properly until 20+ weeks with DD but i was so slim whereas I've put on a bit of chub since then and seem to be gaining weight really easy! Maybe i wont be able to hide it too long but i love the idea of having a little secret from everyone. Or maybe i'll only tell people if they ask.

Annannanna · 11/05/2021 17:09

Hi all, can I join too? Due date will be 14th Jan, I'm only 4+4 today. This will be my second (& last) as I have a little 7 year old girl.
Had a few chemical pregnancies whilst ttc so feeling much more nervous this time around! Xx

Mummyloves09 · 11/05/2021 17:45

Hi ladies,

This is my going to be my 3rd child. I'm really excited to be pregnant and on this journey after 2 miscarriage.

I had a early scan on Monday due to brown spotting but we only saw a gs so I have to return in two weeks.

I hope everyone well?

@missingcoffee22, how is it going?

Missingcoffee22 · 11/05/2021 17:48

My second 😊

Mummyloves09 just feel thoroughly hungover and tired at the moment. Days seem to drag but no idea where two weeks have gone already so guessing this pregnancy will go faster than my last.

MrsRyan15 · 11/05/2021 18:18

Sickness has hit me hard today 🤢. No actual sick, but feeling so queasy all day.

This will be my second, DD will be 2 in July.

Aquarius93 · 11/05/2021 18:32

Just checking in! The nausea has set in for me, usually when I first wake up and then again in the evenings. Luckily it’s not so bad that I’ve been sick yet. Also starting to look pregnant but only due to bloating 🤣

I’ve also been having some spotting. The GP said not to worry if it’s not heavy but I can’t help but feel uneasy each time!

This is my first pregnancy so have no previous experience to compare to!

I’ve told my parents because I would want their support if anything went wrong. We probably won’t tell the rest of our family until 12 weeks and everyone else as and when. I don’t think we’ll do any sort of Facebook announcement.

epiduralplease · 11/05/2021 22:59

Please can I jump in? Smile Due date is 1st Jan. Have had two chemical pregnancies (last one was 2 months ago and then the other one was immediately before) so was going to wait until my private scan on Saturday but the symptoms have truly kicked in today which is hopefully a good sign and has reassured me a little.

Mummyloves09 · 12/05/2021 06:26

@ralala can I join the private Facebook please

Monkeyandthebear · 12/05/2021 06:42

Hi all,

Can I join? I am currently 4w+5 so due 15th Jan. We have a nearly 4 year old daughter. For multiple reasons it has taken us a while to conceive this one so I am crossing everything it’s a sticky one. Slightly worried at the moment as I don’t feel the same as i did with my first pregnancy. Currently feel fine other than a tiny bit queasy when I first get up.

Had to tell my boss because of the environment I work in. I was under the impression that chemicals we use put me at risk, but turns out he had asked the question of our suppliers already because I had mentioned we might have a second child and I am ok. So basically didn’t need to tell him so early.

Has anyone got their vaccine coming up? I got a message to book mine yesterday and have booked it for Monday but going back and forth on the right thing to do.

Heymumma29 · 12/05/2021 07:13

@Monkeyandthebear I’m due the exact same day as you, and my little one is 3, turning 4 in August ☺️ .. Oh that’s so frustrating about work, at least you know you are safe though and that’s the main thing!

Haven’t sorted vaccine yet but will get it if offered, will probably push it back to second trimester though just to be on the safe side!

Praying for a sticky little bean for you!! Xx

Pinkjellies · 12/05/2021 08:35

Hi, can I please join? My son is only 16 weeks and I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again. I’m freaking out a little bit as I had a c section with my son and worried about the timing between them. This was definitely not planned but I’m happy nonetheless.

Missingcoffee22 · 12/05/2021 08:38

So exciting to see so many bfps! Congratulations new joiners.

Still been lucky enough for my nausea not to turn into actual sick but I'm getting close... my daughter's dirty nappy yesterday... and then an orange she requested at breakfast time this morning 😂

Nashsophie13 · 12/05/2021 09:56

Morning all hope your all doing ok and congratulations to the newbies 🙂 i don’t know what to do i think I’m 6 weeks, when I went to the toilet his morning I had a bit of really light blood, it’s only when I wipe and not much kind of like watered down if that makes sense I’m really worrying as last year I had a missed miscarriage but when I was spotting last time it was more bright. Not that they are all the same I know. I have no idea what to do as there isn’t really much I can do. I even done a clear blue which says 3+ but then I don’t know if that means everything will be ok. Sorry guys not told anyone so don’t know who to talk to about it x

gigchic · 12/05/2021 10:07

@Monkeyandthebear I had to tell work for the same reasons and now it's looking like I will have to change what I'm doing slightly so I'm sure even more people will guess! 🤦‍♀️. Also not sure what to do about the vaccine. I won't have it first trimester. Not sure if I will have it while pregnant at all to be honest. I'm 38 and this is my first so I feel like it's a risk I don't have to take unless covid cases go up again massively. It's a very hard decision as the info is so sketchy.

LilmissCa · 12/05/2021 11:06

On the vaccine front I got the AstraZeneca a week before I found out I was pregnant.. obvs wouldn't have, and the AZ isn't even being offered to my age group now where I live (Northern Ireland). The doc tried to reassure me but didn't quite work lol the 2nd I'll be over 12 weeks but still unsure bout getting the AZ again!

@Nashsophie13 sorry to hear your spotting, maybe you could get in touch with EPU/doctor? They should offer an early scan after the last MMC & this spotting. Obvs not all spotting /bleeding means bad outcomes. Really stressful for you.. hugs

Flowerchild547 · 12/05/2021 11:13

How do people manage their anxiety around pregnancy?
I’m usually not a very anxious person but have found that every little twinge I worry about now.
Do people have any tips?

BabyFrank22 · 12/05/2021 12:00

Hi Everyone!

Please can I join?

My due date is 1.1.22 and I have already had 2 early scans due to 3 previous MC's. We had an early scan as I had a bleed and they found a Hematoma. There was also no heartbeat and we were told not to keep our hopes up... We then had a rescan Tuesday just gone after a week of sadness and we saw our little pea with a heartbeat looking healthy! Still in shock and booked in for a further scan at 9wks :)

All the best wishes to everyone!

HforHavana · 12/05/2021 12:32

@Flowerchild547 I suffer terrible from anxiety but am now thankfully medicated for it. Iv been quite chilled about the pregnancy which Is probably down to medication, but I am fully trying to think what will be will be. It's sounds abit shit written down and probably won't help you much, but I know how bad anxiety can be and hope you manage to find something that eases it 💗

@BabyFrank22 congratulations! So sorry you had to go through all of that. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy from here on out 💗

HforHavana · 12/05/2021 12:36

How are people coping with tiredness? I am the only person in my office and don't even have a radio. The tiredness just overwhelms me and I can't concentrate on anything. I can't even talk to anyone to distract myself and am just finding it so hard at the minute to complete the simplest of tasks
