Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@BFirstTimer

Oh gosh *@gigchic* I'm so sorry to hear that :/. Really hope you can think up a baby-safe topic!

@mimirouge sounds about normal! I'm 36 and a first-timer so was kinda hoping for twins - everything done at once 😆

I thought exactly the same about twins with my first... now on my second and praying it's not this time 😂
Buffyfan26 · 07/05/2021 18:33

May I tentatively join please? Am 4+4, this is my fourth pregnancy, would be due around 10th Jan. I had a MMC, my child was is nearly 2 and another MMC recently. Fingers crossed! I’m 36 now so bit worried x

Buffyfan26 · 07/05/2021 18:34

*is nearly 2 not was!

1986mum · 07/05/2021 18:42

@Buffyfan26 Im 35 and have a nearly 1 year old and had a Mc recently it’s hard to get excited with it looming over you isn’t it but everything crossed 🤞

Buffyfan26 · 07/05/2021 18:55

@1986mum yes defo! I’m not excited at all yet, can’t let myself be until I hopefully get good news at an early scan. Are your EPU scanning you early?

1986mum · 07/05/2021 19:00

I’ll be completely honest I only tested Wednesday and haven’t even contacted go or midwife as of yet I’ll give them a call on Monday and hope they’ll see me after 6 weeks I’ve had a little bit of spotting today which hasn’t put my mind at rest at all!

Giraffe888 · 07/05/2021 19:13

Congratulations to today’s new joiners!

Thankfully trapped wind is loads better than yesterday! Hope everyone else is ok

My boobs are still normal. I’m still breastfeeding my DS though so maybe that’s why

Buffyfan26 · 07/05/2021 19:21

@1986mum I haven't called midwife or anyone yet. They just said last time to call at 6 weeks and they would see me at 7, hopefully they can do the same for you!

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 19:27

@Giraffe888 I'm sure my boobs felt super different by now last time but no change this time, and I'm not still breastfeeding

Giraffe888 · 07/05/2021 19:44

@Missingcoffee22 I think mine did too!

My DS is a proper boob monster. Really need to work out a way to wean him off x

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 20:15

@Giraffe888 I'm always in awe of people who carry on into toddlerhood. I stopped around 6 months after lots of issues and found it hard but also a bit of a relief

1986mum · 07/05/2021 20:29

@Buffyfan26 fingers crossed then they did see me at 6 weeks last time to scan and it confirmed the worst. Hate these first few weeks comes to something when I’m grateful for feeling sick 🤢 makes it feel a little more real but only time will tell x

Giraffe888 · 07/05/2021 21:17

@Missingcoffee22 you saying that has really touched me ❤️ I feel so judged by some people (even family & friends) and I’m so conscious of him feeding around people because of what people think.

I had my mum giving me a lecture yesterday how I need to get him weaned ASAP otherwise he will be taking away from what the new baby needs x

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 21:19

@Giraffe888 not at all! You do it on your timeline.

If you have Instagram, hannahmummymills is a great resource. She recently had her 2nd (1st was 2.5) and tandem feeds. She said toddler understands baby has to go first. She also did choose to night wean while pregnant and shared that journey too.

Giraffe888 · 07/05/2021 21:25

@Missingcoffee22 sounds very useful, going to follow her now thank you!

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 21:28

@Giraffe888 she is primarily a pregnancy and postpartum fitness person but she has been really open about going from 1 to 2 and I find her really interesting 😊

TinyTickler · 08/05/2021 08:46

First night socialising hiding I'm not drinking in the bag.... not entirely sure I got away with it, and will be increasingly difficult as it was with our neighbours who we spend a LOT of time with

amyannx · 08/05/2021 08:47

Assuming this isn't a good sign, my FRER has faded from yesterday's but my clear blue says 2-3 weeks no bleeding or cramps, don't know what to do x

Due 1st Jan 2022
Pinkyp22 · 08/05/2021 08:57

I'm so glad I found this !
My period isn't due till Wednesday 😳 but I've been testing like a maniac . I'm a little worried about how I calculate my due date , as I haven't had a period since January ! I had a miscarriage in February , and there were some complications so ended up having a d&c on the 1dt April , I ovulated Wednesday 28th and here I am . Bit apprehensive about telling anyone , even the doctor

1986mum · 08/05/2021 09:52

@Pinkyp22 I feel your pain I had a miscarriage last month and must have conceived straight away still don’t think it’s properly sunk in that I’m pregnant again! I’ve been spotting on and off so I’m even more nervous it’ll all go wrong again. ❤️

It just opens up a whole load of anxiety doesn't it 1986mum 😪 I'm sorry you had to go through that . How far along are you ? How have you dated your pregnancy ? I do know when I ovulated of course I'm just not sure how they would give me a due date !
Is this your first baby ?

MrsRyan15 · 08/05/2021 10:01

Self referral to the midwife done. Helpfully you can only call ours between 9-10am on a Saturday and Sunday so have waited a whole week to do it.

Feels a bit more real now.

Hope everyone is feeling OK this morning.

That is so specific 😂
1986mum · 08/05/2021 10:18

@Pinkyp22 yeh massive anxiety . No not my first baby I have a 10 year old and a little boy that’s 1 on Thursday my last pregnancy wasn’t planned but once I’d got my head around it I was excited so we did decided to try again after Mc not thinking we’d get caught so soon after! I did a clear blue test that said 2-3 which they say it 4-5 weeks which would mean I’d conceived about 2 weeks after my miscarriage but can’t be 100% sure. Is this your first baby?

Ralala · 08/05/2021 10:18

I am going to book in next week I think. I will be 6 weeks then. Booking in appt is 10 weeks usually and first scan between 12-14 weeks in my area. I’m in no rush to be honest xx
