Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

Hi everyone. I've just spoken to my GP, I had an appointment over a different matter and told them I was pregnant, they took my details and said that the midwifery team will be in touch at around 7 and a half weeks which gives them time to book in the scans etc at around 10 weeks. She said unless you've had previous complications or anything arises in the meantime they don't tend to see you any time before 10 weeks, but shouldn't let it get past 11 without contact either , hope this helps youSmile

Nashsophie13 · 06/05/2021 17:30

@marnh18 of course that’s totally understandable I was thinking the same and I’m trying to not think to much until the scan but it is hard not to as you do think about it all the time. I’m the same I have a different feeling this time round so fingers crossed. I have everything crossed for you too! And @BabyBunnyMama thank you so much that’s really kind of you, I’m so pleased your 2nd time went well for you and you are so right it’s an anxious time. I have positive thoughts :) hope your doing ok too x

Ralala · 06/05/2021 18:23

I feel absolutely exhausted today. I did a gym session which was full on but I don’t imagine that’s totally knocked me out. Just waiting for hubs to come home so I can pass the little one on to him and jump in the bath

Ralala · 06/05/2021 18:24

Also I think I have messaged everyone who messaged me. Xx

mimirouge · 06/05/2021 18:34

Really worried today. Have heavy feeling in abdomen like period coming

I am also so tired after work and a squash session... currently counting down to bedtime... hers then mine 😂
gigchic · 06/05/2021 19:11

@mimirouge I've had that feeling for two weeks now. I'm taking it as the bean burying itself in. 🤞

Giraffe888 · 06/05/2021 19:20

I’ve got really bad trapped wind pains and it’s scaring me as I often get it when AF is due. It’s so painful

BFirstTimer · 06/05/2021 20:51

@mimirouge my doctor said today that as the uterus thickens it's common to get that heavy feeling like before a period! Hope you're hanging in there Flowers

Got an early scan today with a new DD of 6 January! Sac and egg are where they're supposed to be, no HB yet, feeling a bit hopeful...!

BabyBunnyMama · 06/05/2021 21:33

@Giraffe888 I've been feeling a bit like this as well today. Hopefully it's a normal symptom this early on, especially if more than one of us feel the same🤞

ami96 · 06/05/2021 23:14

@Ralala

Ladies I have set up a Facebook group. It’s hidden and private. No one will know you joined. If you want to join then just private message me your email address and I will add you
Hi, I'd be happy to join the Facebook group, I'm 6w, hopefully due 31/12/21 but most likely in January - I don't know how to private message you
Nashsophie13 · 07/05/2021 06:20

@Giraffe888 how are you feeling today hun? Have you been constipated at all I think that can be quite common, @BriFirstTimer that sounds positive :) glad your feeling better x

Giraffe888 · 07/05/2021 07:41

@Nashsophie13 thank you for asking. It’s a lot better than it was yesterday. I’ve not been constipated at all, if anything I’ve probably been going a little bit more!

Nashsophie13 · 07/05/2021 08:35

@Giraffe888 glad your better today, so weird isn’t it all these things that our body goes through, I’m still waiting for some symptoms to kick in. But maybe I’ll be one of the lucky ones that doesn’t get any x

BabyBunnyMama · 07/05/2021 08:54

I have been relatively symptom free but think they are kicking in now. Awful nausea at bedtime last night and then through the night kept waking feeling sick and overheated. Feeling a bit better this morning but the thought of eating 🤢 also gone right off the thought of coffee too. Thankfully no throwing up though.

How is everyone else today?

amyannx · 07/05/2021 08:55

Hey girls, I have been taking FRER to see my line progression but today's doesn't look as dark as yesterday's, it's near enough the same but yesterday's looks darker than what it did when I last looked at it, do you think they get darker as they dry out? I've not had cramping or anything, I have attached a photo x

Due 1st Jan 2022
amyannx · 07/05/2021 08:56

Sorry top is yesterday, bottom is just now x

LucyJane90 · 07/05/2021 08:59

So.. I found out on Monday I’m pregnant. I worked out I’m about 5-6 weeks pregnant now so I should be due around 3rd jan. Abit of advice if any can give me any. I’ve previously tried with my long term ex for a baby for 2 years, then my last ex I tried for 2 years. So in total 4 years I haven’t been able to get pregnant. I thought I was infertile. Then my most recent boyfriend it happened pretty much straight away. I told him two days ago and he’s not happy atall and doesn’t want me to keep it! I’ve never been a maternal kind of person but I just worry incase I have an abortion il never have another opportunity!! Any advice would be helpful!!! Thanks ladies 🙌🏼😩

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 09:29

@amyannx it is possible they get darker as they dry.. also just 1 day apart your hcg doesn't rise loads, so there could be other reasons why it is fainter like if you are more hydrated. I'd try to step away from the tests, or wait a few days if you really want to test again.

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 09:30

@BabyBunnyMama pretty much exactly the same as you describe!

amyannx · 07/05/2021 09:36

@Missingcoffee22 thank you, yeah that's what I'm thinking, I haven't got any cramps or anything so suppose that it a good sign x

Nashsophie13 · 07/05/2021 09:45

@BabyBunnyMama, I have a few waves here and there that I feel abit Sick and that’s it, haven’t had coffee since I found out so I don’t think I’d like it now either. @LucyJane90 you have to think what you really want to do, don’t do something because that’s what someone else wants if you don’t feel the same x

KAJWX · 07/05/2021 09:56

I am so tired this morning! The first day I’ve actually felt a bit pregnant. I have so much housework to do, but I’m taking the morning to have a bath and a little nap whilst DS is at nursery 😂

HforHavana · 07/05/2021 10:03

Is coffee really that bad? Before I found out I was pregnant, I did find I didn't really want coffee, but now I am finding I still need a cup of a morning. I'm trying not to do them as strong, but with the lack of sleep I just need that boost of a morning. Is one coffee a day okay? Or should I cut it out?

Missingcoffee22 · 07/05/2021 10:08

@HforHavana one cup is fine 😊
