Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@Ralala

Hey ladies, I’m just wondering if anyone fancied a Facebook group? Totally private and only accessible if sent an email so can’t be found and won’t get randoms joining . Who aren’t from mumsnet. None of your fb friends would know you had joined. What do you think ? Xx
Oooh yes! I struggle to keep up on here! Xx
LolasTheme641 · 06/05/2021 08:34

@Ralala I thought it was a bit soon but tbh I’m struggling to keep up with this thread and everyone’s usernames! I’d be up for it ☺️

Lucieee0909 · 06/05/2021 08:34

@Giraffe888

Has anyone had cervical mucus? I’ve had some the last 2 days but according to google it’s normal?!
Yes I have!
Lucieee0909 · 06/05/2021 08:35

I'm struggling to sleep so much! Keep waking up continuously from around 3am. I also stupidly took my pregnacare on an empty stomach this morning so I've had in the toilet all morning! Not ideal with a toddler around x

Missingcoffee22 · 06/05/2021 08:42

@LolasTheme641 I agree. We've gotten a lot of January due dates so quickly it is already hard to keep up with the thread haha. Which is a great thing though!

I keep waking up around 3am too! Killer when my alarm goes off at 6SadSad
LSW82 · 06/05/2021 08:59

@Ralala yes I’d be up for joining the group. It is hard to keep up & now I’m checking two threads 🤣
4am seems to be my waking up time & usually need to go to the loo which is new for me as I usually sleep through! Does anyone else feel the weeks are just dragging so much, & my booking in with midwife isn’t until 31st which seems so far away (I’ll be 9 weeks by then)!

I can't believe I'm only 5 weeks!! It's seriously dragging!!!

TinyTickler · 06/05/2021 09:08

@Ralala yeah I would too.

mummabear20202022 · 06/05/2021 09:15

@Ralala I'd definitely be interested, keeping up with Facebook groups is much easier than mumsnet I feel!

Aquarius93 · 06/05/2021 09:30

@Ralala I’m up for a Facebook group but feels a bit soon for me - I personally would wait until I reach the 12 week mark and have had my scan before I join!

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 06/05/2021 09:35

Hello, I've been on a few of the others threads, I'm similar with Aquarius, I'd be up for a Facebook group, but would like to get over the 12 week scan. I'm very pragmatic in that I don't really believe I'm pregnant till I see the 12 week scan.

Missingcoffee22 · 06/05/2021 10:04

No problem with having a group that people join in stages I think? People can decide when they are personally comfortable. I joined my last one really quite late, just before my 20 week scan I think. Some had been in since the beginning. People kept joining (although in declining numbers) until a rough cut off date we set in July time (August due dates), when babies started coming and we felt people had shared a lot they didn't want new people to see, if that makes sense.

Zm2019 · 06/05/2021 10:14

@giraffe888 omg I just came on here to ask that question.
Sorry if tmi, yesterday while doing the school run, we were walking home. And I suddenly felt so wet. I actually thought I was bleeding. I had to ask my daughter if she could see any blood. Thankfully I wasn't it was just a big increase in mucus and the same again today.
Considering it wasnt that long ago I was pregnant, youngest is 8months. I feel like I have forgotten everything

I have also starting waking during the night really hot and I've had to open the window. Also going to the loo alot more now too.

BabyBunnyMama · 06/05/2021 10:54

@Ralala I would be up for a Facebook group! Easier to keep up to date on 😊

@Zm2019 omg I am the same today I thought I had bled cos just felt it suddenly but no just mucus. I also feel like I've forgotten everything about the first trimester and my DD is only 2 😆

Hi @Ralala, good idea, I'd be up for it x
Ralala · 06/05/2021 11:15

Ladies I have set up a Facebook group. It’s hidden and private. No one will know you joined. If you want to join then just private message me your email address and I will add you

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 06/05/2021 11:24

I've messaged you, I know what I said earlier, but nah, I'll just have FOMO if I don't join! Thank you for setting up Ralala!

Zm2019 · 06/05/2021 11:45

@ralala how do I private message

LolasTheme641 · 06/05/2021 12:27

Hey @Ralala I’ve sent you a PM but I’m not sure it’s actually sent! Hopefully you got it ☺️

Nashsophie13 · 06/05/2021 13:03

Hey all hope your all ok 🙂 I’m just wondering how long you’ve had to wait to hear from your midwife to get your booking appointment in? I know everywhere is different and I’m prob being impatient. I’m in Essex and we have to self refer ourselves and a midwife is meant to get back to you within 5 days but it’s been over a week and I’ve heard nothing. There’s no contact number to call either.has anyone had to wait a while? X

Zm2019 · 06/05/2021 13:05

@Nashsophie13 Hey. I'm Norfolk and I have to do a self referral form and then call the midwifes when I'm over 6 weeks to book my appointment so maybe they will contact you around then aswell. I've done my form just waiting for next week for me to call in x

osmo18 · 06/05/2021 13:06

I think a facebook group is a great idea! I will definitely be up for joining maybe once i've had a 10 week scan (booked in privately).
I have a doctors appointment this afternoon where i intend to tell my GP of the pregnancy

Missingcoffee22 · 06/05/2021 13:08

@Nashsophie13 I've been waiting over a week as well but they do say 10 working days here, and the attachment says that they sent letters so I'm not even sure what exactly I'm waiting for. I wouldn't worry just yet but maybe try to chase if you haven't heard next week? I can be very hard to get the right contact details I find...

Giraffe888 · 06/05/2021 13:12

I rang my GP last week. The receptionist said they now take details then midwife will contact me at 8/9 weeks. I think all areas do it differently

@Ralala I think I’ve messaged you!
