Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

I think its very natural to feel anxious, especially in the early days, I just can't wait to get past the 12 week scan safely. I mean, I know scans are only a snapshot in time, but I'll feel better once that's passed!

Zm2019 · 05/05/2021 17:38

@gigchic for me it's seeing the cb digitals going from 1-2 to 2-3 to 3+ each week. Makes me feel the pregnancy is going the right way. Now it's at 3+ I won't test no more till my early scan at 8weeks x

Missingcoffee22 · 05/05/2021 18:01

@gigchic it is really similar to seeing the line get darker, just more distinct progress. No need to buy any specific test.

gigchic · 05/05/2021 18:28

@Zm2019 @Missingcoffee22 ah thanks. So I'm doing the same thing but with my cheapies then - although I think I'm at the point it won't get any darker really so don't think I'm going to do another one now. I'm 5w today and tested this morning.

Tiredness has hit me today. I ended up having a lunchtime nap on the sofa! Perks of working from home 😂

Missingcoffee22 · 05/05/2021 18:31

@gigchic I did the same with my cheapies. Making myself stop now! I am with you on the tiredness. Hoping for some daytime naps when I have quiet work days!

Hi Everyone

There’s a couple of different threads for those of us due in January and I thought it might be good to try and bring us all together? It’s a bit easier to follow one thread than 3 :)

The link if anyone wants to move across is:

BabyBunnyMama · 05/05/2021 18:57

Ah I am loving working from home even more now I'm pregnant. Being able to have a lie down on the sofa when I feel a bit achy from sitting at my desk for a few hours is great! Definitely couldn't do that in the office 😆

Giraffe888 · 05/05/2021 19:17

I think it’s easier to stick in this thread seeing as it’s already at 13 pages and we’ve started to get to know each other x

Missingcoffee22 · 05/05/2021 19:20

@Giraffe888 there is another on 7 pages as well.. if only we could merge 🙈

Giraffe888 · 05/05/2021 19:52

@Missingcoffee22 yikes!!!

DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 05/05/2021 20:02

I've got thrush on the way I think, terrified it's going to make me miscarry! Sad

5 weeks 5 days today!

Clarkey86 · 05/05/2021 20:04

No probs Giraffe, wherever people are happier :) I just thought because there’s two with quite a few pages and both are titled very specifically a more general Jan group might be good and others might find it easier. If not we can just see which one has more and when it’s full start a new thread with a more general title :)

Hopefully that link works as the title was changed - again no worries if people don’t want to move across, I’m not offended Grin

Oh I love it too! Can't imagine going through the tiredness and queasiness at work! X

Yes to this! And not having to hide the bloat and make excuses for suddenly cutting out coffee.
Giraffe888 · 05/05/2021 20:51

@Clarkey86 I agree one thread would be a lot easier. I didn’t realise there was another with quite a few pages too

If the new one is where most people go then that’s a great idea x

Lucieee0909 · 05/05/2021 21:21

Hi everyone! 🥰 hope everyone is doing well. Already feels like the weeks are dragging!

LolasTheme641 · 05/05/2021 21:31

@gigchic

This is my first pregnancy and maybe being a bit naive here but why is everyone so keen for the clear blue 3+ test result? I've been using up my spare cheap tests to see the line get darker but should I buy a CB test as it's better? You've all got me thinking now!
This is my second and I didn’t know about the CB thing! Makes total sense though, it’s become apparent that I knew absolutely zero the first time round 😂
Aquarius93 · 05/05/2021 22:00

@BabyBunnyMama and @MrsRyan15 I’m the same with working from home! My team are all women and are constantly speculating about who’s pregnant so it’s nice to not have to worry about giving anything away!

Struggling to keep up with messages but hope everyone’s doing okay! Still just suffering from tiredness myself but managing most days without a nap!

Is anyone planning on continuing exercise throughout their pregnancy? I’m trying to keep up my usual routine but I normally do a lot of high intensity stuff so I’m trying to tone it down a bit! Any recommendations for good apps/YouTube workouts/instagrams are appreciated!

Missingcoffee22 · 05/05/2021 22:09

@Aquarius93 I exercised as normal but just slowly reduced intensity/weight last time, following instinct. Kept spinning, hiit, circuits, weights. They say you can do everything you did before, as long as it feels okay and with certain exceptions. I found most pregnancy specific classes to be not enough for me - I think because they are meant to be suitable for people who weren't exercising before to take up.

This time I'm already doing less just because of time constraints and because I hating exercising at home. But not planning to make any changes until I need to.

Aquarius93 · 05/05/2021 22:26

@Missingcoffee22 that’s good to know. I agree about the pregnancy specific classes. I’ve tried a couple and they weren’t really enough. I think I’ll carry on as I am and just take extra breaks when I need to!

littlelots123 · 06/05/2021 06:06

Hi, Is anyone else having night sweats? Should I be worried! I can’t remember if I had them when I was pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago?!

BabyBunnyMama · 06/05/2021 07:00

@littlelots123 I haven't had night sweats as such but have been a lot warmer at night than usual. Probably a hormonal thing, I don't think it's anything to be worried about 😊

Giraffe888 · 06/05/2021 07:42

Has anyone had cervical mucus? I’ve had some the last 2 days but according to google it’s normal?!

Ralala · 06/05/2021 08:17

Hey ladies, I’m just wondering if anyone fancied a Facebook group? Totally private and only accessible if sent an email so can’t be found and won’t get randoms joining . Who aren’t from mumsnet. None of your fb friends would know you had joined. What do you think ? Xx
