Due 1st Jan 2022

Hey

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@BabyBunnyMama oh quite similar! Yeah I think a lot more tiring this time? I am dreading when I get really big for getting her in and out of the bath and cot!

@missingcoffee22 Yes I'm thinking the same! She isn't in a cot anymore but leaning over the bath will be interesting!

@Missingcoffee22 what date in July is your DD bday? I had placenta previa so I had planned c section, was due 29th but they brought him on 19th

@BabyBunnyMama oh I'm dreading take the side off the cot!

@Giraffe888 mine is actually 26th August. Baby of the year. Are you planning another section or see how it goes?

@Missingcoffee22 I think I’m going to go for section again. I loved how calming and stress free it was knowing what day/time etc everything was happening. Even more so now for planning childcare for DS. My recovery was very easy too and I was back walking after 3 days x

@Giraffe888 ah wow we are all in similar situations then! I think it'll be a nice age gap - my DD has just turned 2

@missingcoffee22 I was too but it actually went better than we thought it would! Wouldn't rush it before you have to though haha

@Giraffe888 that makes a lot of sense. Everyone I know who has had a planned section has said the same as you.

@BabyBunnyMama I definitely will leave it a while! She's still happy in a sleeping bag so no rush.

Apologies if this has already been spoken about earlier in the thread but can I ask how everyone is feeling as we're all roughly the same amount of weeks there or there abouts! My boobs are super super sore and sensitive, I felt sort of travel sick for a day or two last week but that's gone away and not come backthe only symptoms I have is I find I am extremely tired and sore chest...if you've had a pregnancy before when did your symptoms kick in? Also another question - if you haven't had the vaccine yet, are you still going to go for it? I think I would still like to have it as soon as I'm offered it

Hi! I think the last time my symptoms kicked in around 6 weeks- savage heartburn and nausea!

I also had my vaccine (Pfizer) on Sunday just gone- I’m an unpaid carer. Since I haven’t spoken to a midwife yet I spoke to a GP while I was there and tbh I’d already made up my mind that I would have it, which he completely agreed with!

Hi all! So nice to see so much chat today.

I can’t remember who asked, but I never get sick when pregnant. I sometimes feel hungover as I call it but not actually sickness or crippling nausea. I tend to get bloated at this stage and achey boobs. I remember my tummy being flatter at 16 weeks pregnant than 8 weeks pregnant last time! The bloat in the first 12 weeks for me is just epic!

Also will absolutely take Phizer if offered

Due 3rd jan 🤩🥰 Currently 5 weeks and 1 day, just booked my booking in appointment with the local hospital and also have a reassurance scan at 8 weeks at the hospital due to two previous miscarriages. So nervous but taking each day as it comes 😊

Can’t believe how close all our due dates are 🙂 I’m still waiting for someone to contact me about my first midwife appointment. Sending myself crazy as I don’t have any symptoms but I know it’s abit early just worry as I’ve had a previous Mc last September last year. Hope your all feeling ok this evening 🙂 x

@Nashsophie13 I don't have any symptoms really either. It's weird because all I've got is a positive test telling me that I'm pregnant but don't feel it yet Hope you are doing OK! I know how worrying it is being pregnant after a loss so everything crossed for you

@Nat171 I'm due 3rd January too!

The heartburn has kicked in with me today at 5 weeks. Apart from that and boobs getting more sore by the day I'm feeling ok. My cycle tracking app (Flo) and the nhs website are giving me different due dates 3rd/5th Jan. Not sure why that would be but I don't mind as long as it's healthy!

@gigchic I find the flo app puts me 1 day ahead in my pregnancy than any of the other apps which is odd as I've put the same dates in both 🤔 but my mind is not too set on a date until I get my dating scan anyway so we shall see 😊

I'm insanely constipated (sorry if TMI) is anyone else?

If you're taking pregnancy vitamins I've heard they sometimes can cause constipation

I finally got my 3w+ 5w+2 (maybe 5w+3) Not that it's a totally reliable method but I now feel I can relax abit until my early scan. I got so fixated on it saying 2-3 for what felt like forever!

@dano99 I bought another CB digital to do in a few days as I want to get 3+ too. I’m going to wait until sat when I’m 5+3 I think

Had an awful dream last night that DH was cheating on me with someone I work with and I’ve woken with awful headache 😞

@BabyBunnyMama aw thanks hun, I’m ok, I know this is normal I think I’m just over worrying but trying my hardest not to also. Waiting for the scan is the longest wait isn’t it. And I only doing out last week. Just been obsessed with doing pregnancy tests to clarify to me haha. I’ve stopped that now though. Hope your doing ok to babe x

Morning all! My plan is to get a digital this week. So far I have had a positive on an one step cheapie strip and then a positive on a FRER. Digital this week as I’m 5 weeks now so hoping for a 3+ on it!

Morning! Its been an uncertain week as my lines were really faint at first, but its been a week with no AF and had lines are dark now, so Guess I'm pregnant! Super excited, this will be our 2nd, we already have a DS, age 2.6.
