Are these photos a sign of miscarriage?

I just don't know what's happening with me, it's all new to me!! I am 3 weeks, 3 days today.

@PurpleandOrange They told me to wait until my scan because they wouldn't be able to see anything yet and can't do anything. They just can't be arsed basically.

@GreenSlide The same happened to me, i got given EPU number, they basically turned me away. So angry how people under 6 weeks get treated!

Still showing positives and 2-3 on a digital 🤷🏼‍♀️ My bleeding has gotten REALLY REALLY light today, barely needed to wear a pad but i still did just incase

@ellxabellsx did you tell them you must be further along than you initially thought? Did you try telling them you were having pains?

Can you try one more time to get referred by the gp using the comments above? Can you follow it up with something in writing so they don’t want to be worried about being negligent?

I could be wrong and I apologise if I am, but it doesn’t sound as though you told them you thought you were already 6 weeks.

The problem is, they won’t take you seriously if they don’t realise this is the case. Also, I’ve never had a miscarriage, so I could be way off base, but it sounds like you’ve been bleeding for nearly two weeks. To me, this sounds like an awful lot of bleeding if you’re miscarrying at only 4 or 5 weeks.

(If someone more experienced than me knows otherwise, please correct me.)

@ellxabellsx I hope your doing ok OP. I would follow everyone else’s advice and even say your in pain, I know you shouldn’t lie, but just so they do something!

@EdgeOfACoin I miscarried at 8 weeks and then 6 weeks, 6 weeks was the worst and bled for two weeks straight then started tapering off, it might possibly be a miscarriage but I think the digital might of went down to 1-2 weeks pregnant by now.

I had a friend with exactly your pattern of bleeding, she kept losing chunks of what looked like raw liver so goodness knows what was going on. She now has a happy healthy girl.

It's not always straightforward and these circumstances are not usual. Wishing you well.

@ActonBell Yes Monday at 8:45🤞🏼 Stopped bleeding completely but still positive, no pain 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's a weird one.

Could you book a private scans at hey baby or somewhere? Just say you think you're 6 weeks. Granted they wont see alot but they'll see something at least. I had a MC last year and they tell you the tests should go negative in 3 weeks so the hormone stays with you for a while. I hope you get some answers soon. X

It’s so close now I guess it’s just a case of waiting until Monday. Everything crossed for you for a good outcome.
If you have any pain or any more bleeding please go to A&E. And once everything is a bit clearer I’d be making a complaint to PALS.

I had two weeks of bleeding and mild/moderate pain. I was seen on the first day by out of hours, who told me at 5 weeks it was too early to be seen by EPU, but I had a kidney infection. Gave me antibiotics. A week later, I was still bleeding, so rang my GP who gave me a phone appt. She told me I was probably miscarrying - it could carry on for another week. The pain would probably get worse - and the bleeding more so. If 10 days later, I still had concerns, I would need to be referred to EPU.
10 days later, I was still bleeding and the pain worse. I fought for 2 more days to get an emergency scan at EPU and when I went in, I had a ruptured ectopic and was rushed to surgery.
I was shocked as I thought that I would be in more pain/it would be more obvious... but also very angry that I had been left so long without anyone really bothering to check anything...
as such, please, please fight to be seen. If you are worried that something feels weird or wrong, insist on it. Or just put your hand in your pocket for a private scan. I SO wish I had!

Like PP said I guess if you’re being seen on Monday there isn’t much more to do but if you do get shoulder tip pain or pressure in your bum go to a&e!

Please don’t allow yourself to be rushed. Ask as many questions as you need to. Ask them to repeat information if it’s not clear to you. It can be hard to take things in a stressful situation. Maybe take a list of questions with you and/or a notepad to jot some things down.

It's very emotional to say it's my first! They have said to take a test in 10 days and it should say negative. I am just trying to stay positive and hope it was too early to see anything but i know that's not the case...
