Aww thats scary its so hard to relax when youv had a bad experience so recently. These early days are so nerve wracking!
So far so good for me iv been bleeding slightly for 3 days but brown blood and no cramps, it has almost stopped today so i can unclench a bit still nervous though x how old are your two? Im peeved because mine are both winter babies and now a xmas baby

I’m now on the EPU, although the nurse has just told someone who was arguing for her partner to stay that nobody is being scanned today, so I’m a bit worried now.

No more blood so far... the nurse also can’t get any blood from my arm, so I’m waiting for a doctor.

I didn’t look on this chat for 2 days and there’s about 10 new pages!!

With Regards to sickness - Bleugh!!
I was really badly ill in my last pregnancy from about 7weeks but I’ve been so ill the last 6 days and I’m not quite 6weeks yet.. travel sickness bands, ice cubes to suck and cool strips for my head and nothing really makes a difference!

Update to anyone who had a scan without a fetal pole: I had the same at 5W5D, went for a scan today and fetal pole & heartbeat seen. So chances are it is just too early 🤞🏻

I phoned my doctor surgery today to sort out my booking in appointment. I have to phone early because of my recurrent miscarriages. They said that they aren’t doing any booking in’s because of COVID at this time and had to call the community midwife team. Left them a message and they have phoned back. Explained my situation and that I have been told call as soon as I get a positive. They then said they can’t book me in until after 7 weeks. They apologised and say they know I need to be scanned at 6 weeks but there’s nothing they can do at this time.
Booking a private one now, I had to last year when I was having my last miscarriage.

Feeling a little deflated.

I've chased up my booking in and it's now not until nearly 9 weeks and I'm really disappointed was really hoping to see them sooner 🥺

I've got more blood thinners from the doctor but I'm so scared of getting to the same point as last year 😫

Finally got my booking appointment...3rd May! And bloods being done on 6 May!

Sense of smell is definitely kicking in now, was putting food in the fridge this morning and it made me heave!

I took your advice @Amoh and took another test to see if the line had got darker - would this be considered a dye stealer?

I got 1-2 on Clearblue last week (Saturday) this Tuesday got 2-3. May do another in few days so I see a 3+. At least I know then that my numbers are rising.

Back from our early scan and breathing a huge sigh of relief that all is well at the moment
I don't feel like I'm out of the woods yet as with the MC I had at 12 weeks they think baby had died at 9-10 weeks, so I feel like that is my next 'milestone' to get past.

@Cocomelon2019 thanks for recommending that thread I just found it..super helpful! Although reading about sickness makes me feel sick so had to stop 😂

I’ve survived off a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes and a packet of ready salted crisps today GP has prescribed alternative anti sickness so picking that up tomorrow and see how I go. Had plans for lunch with friends tomorrow but cancelled which is a bummer...could do with seeing some humans!

Early scan 7pm Monday to look forward to! Just hope I can make it, the thought of leaving the house at the moment seems like an impossible task

I feel so bad every evening. I feel cold and shivery but also feverish even though I'm not. It happens every night and I just feel utter shite

@Horehound oh my god weird you mention that. Every night when I get into bed I feel like I have a fever! I’ve checked my temperature each time and only once it’s been high but all the other times it’s been normal. It is only really when it gets later though like 10pm and right when I’m getting ready for bed I started feeling shivery and freezing even though I’m not! Must be a pregnancy thing!

@horehound I'm feeling utter shite too. You're not alone. Although I doubt the solidarity offers any comfort.

@Horehound I have that same night coldness too! And the insane sense of smell.

Spent the day at the EPU. Urine tests showed some blood, but also a positive pregnancy test, so they seemed happy with that. They did an internal and my cervix is closed and looks healthy, I still have some ectropion and they think that may have caused the bleeding. They’ve taken bloods and if my HCG is above the level where they think a scan will be helpful, they’ll call me in today or tomorrow (I’m guessing tomorrow now), and if not, I’ll repeat bloods in 48 hours to see if HCG is rising...

I’m scared, but calmer tonight. I’ve got no cramps or pain so far and no more bleeding since this morning, so I’m hoping things are okay 🤞

I’m 5+5 tomorrow, I think... is there any chance of seeing a heart rate then? I think I’ll settle a bit when I see a heart rate.

Got a little bit of nausea tonight before tea; and my sense of smell is still really strong, so I’m hoping those are good signs.

And now I should go back to cleaning the house for a viewing tomorrow 🙈

First time this morning that I've been gagging brushing my teeth! Felt fairly sick on and off today, didn't eat that much. But tonight had tea then 1.5 hour later, cheese & crackers, bagel & cheese and half a tub of olives!

9:30 now so off up to bed, my average bedtime the last couple weeks!
