Just catching up here! I’m probably one of the earliest pregnancies on here at 4+6.

Glad for everyone who has had some reassurance – we take it where we can get it in these early days! I’m still feeling very anxious, but telling myself that everything except for strong cramps and bleeding is probably normal.

Got the summer duvet out because I’m having hot flushes at night. Bloody thing must have been harbouring a colony of hibernating fleas, and now I’m covered in bites 😞
My cat had fleas last year, and we sprayed the whole house to get rid of them, but apparently they can hibernate in blankets and clothes for years 😡

Hi all.. I know there had been discussion early on about those unsure whether or not to get COVID vaccine.

Just wanted to share this incase it helps, this only came out in the last 36hours

@Firstbornunicorn oh no! My old rabbit had fleas and it got into my bedding too. I ditched the duvet & pillows, soaked the bedding in the bath (then binned) and hoovered my bed. It was probably about 10 years ago and it still makes me paranoid. Hope you get it sorted again.

That's the nausea started for me now. Went to bed with it last night and woken up with it. I feel exhausted but can't sleep 😩

I am so unsure what to do about the covid vaccination. Thanks for the info @AlltheQs

I had to get up an hour before my alarm as hungry but queezy. So had couple crackers and blueberry juice, tho even the blueberry juice tastes too sweet atm!

But.. was shocked when I looked in the mirror, belly shape suddenly changed, looks more than bloating, actual pregnancy shape at 6+4, nuts!!!

TTC94 · 24/04/2021 08:07

Hi all, hope I can join.

I’m only 4 weeks 4 days at present.

My first baby. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage in February so I am pretty nervous and apprehensive. Every day feels like a week right now!

My estimated due date is the 28th December.

Congratulations to you all xx

TheDamnFoolThatShotHim · 24/04/2021 08:25

Congrats TTC and welcome Smile

There's a few of us on the thread who are pregnant again after a MC so you're not alone in your apprehension.
I think there's also a 'pregnancy after loss' thread running somewhere which might be helpful.

Minster2012 · 24/04/2021 08:40

Welcome @TTC94! I'm pretty early too, only just over 5 weeks if you go by ovulation time not LMP.

@climbershell that looks so cute!

I had a horrendous vivid dream last night & kinda woke up with heart palpitations, not restful sleep at all!
Put on a sports bra today as we are walking/cycling today with friends & I might wear one more often 🤣😂much comfier!

Cocomelon2019 · 24/04/2021 08:41

@mamaatthegym haha yes I was the same!! Small doses of that thread and screen time in general 😔 Always here if you need a wee chat, I know how isolating it can be and sometimes a good moan helps!

Mosshead348 · 24/04/2021 09:22

Welcome @TTC94 very similar situation here, MC in March and pregnant straight after, so understand your nervousness. Congratulations and try and enjoy it!!xx

Pineapple87 · 24/04/2021 09:38

Morning all I’m 5+4 due 21st December,
Can I join I’m new to this and don’t really know how it all works. x

TTC94 · 24/04/2021 10:31

Thank you @Minster2012 and @Mosshead348. Sorry to hear of your miscarriage @Mosshead348. Hope this time is healthy and positive for both of us xx

Hxoxox · 24/04/2021 10:31

Hi everyone!

I woke up this morning with like a stabbing pain on my left side just under my ribs it actually started last night. I'm only 5 + 5 or 6.... depending on when implantation occurred I might be less. Has anyone else had this so early? X

Chiwi · 24/04/2021 11:08

Hello! Been lurking here for a week or so. Had some scary symptoms of an ectopic but had an early scan today and they're in there, in the right place so all is looking good! EDD looking like 23/12 I do not want an Xmas day baby!!
This is my second, my girl is 16 months and a NYE baby!

Kinsters · 24/04/2021 11:18

Chiwi are you me?! I'm due 23rd December and have a little girl who was due 1 January 2020 (she actually arrives on the 6th though).

Pineapple87 congratulations and welcome x

climbershell cute little bump! It's definitely possible to show early. My jeans didn't fit from 8 weeks last time and I had a noticeable bump from 12 weeks.

Kinsters · 24/04/2021 11:21

Wait Chiwi I think I know who you are 😂 sorry if that sounds creepy! I'm waiting until I'm more sure if this is a sticky one before mentioning anything to anyone as I miscarry a lot. Anna x

TakeYourFinalPosition · 24/04/2021 11:40

Morning all, and welcome everyone! It’s lovely to have so many new people Smile

No scan for me... the EPU called this morning to say my HCG is good, above 7000 which is good for 5+5 allegedly, but they’re not going to organise a scan because they don’t provide much reassurance under 8 weeks, and they only offer them for emergencies at the weekend anyway. They’re going to call on Monday and see how I am, but they’re pleased there’s been no more bleeding, and I’ve got no cramps or anything.

I’m trying to keep busy today! So tempted to book a private scan, I’m 6 weeks from ovulation on Monday, 6+6 from LMP. .. is that far too early for a heartbeat? I think I’d find a heartbeat really reassuring...

I’m supposed to be chasing up estate agents about our move, but I’m just sat with my hand on my tummy 🙈

Chiwi · 24/04/2021 12:00

@Kinsters omg Anna!! You totally know who I am! Same EDD?? Amazing!!

Kinsters · 24/04/2021 12:03

I'm just hoping it sticks. I had one miscarriage before Clara then one miscarriage before this pregnancy so 🤞🤞🤞

Can't believe I was so worried about a Christmas baby before and now it's happening again 🤣🤣

Chiwi · 24/04/2021 12:06

@kinsters God same here. When I worked out the EDD we were both like FFS, couldn't have just waited a couple of months 🤦🏻‍♀️
Amazing news for you though, got everything crossed for you!!

rosed1008 · 24/04/2021 13:31

@TakeYourFinalPosition oooh thats interesting about your bloods! I had a private blood test at 5+4 and they were just over 6000 so we are probably very similar. I had private bloods done to compare to previous miscarriage and in my miscarriage they were at 2000 at 5+6 so this pregnancy is a lot higher, which is reassuring.

I hope you manage to chill out and no more pesky bleeding, 1/3 of women get bleeding in the first trimester so its not uncommon, I know that doesnt make it easier! X

Amoh · 24/04/2021 13:36

Hi there. I also got pregnant right after a pregnancy loss in March -in fact it was a ruptured ectopic. I found it reassuring that I’m not the only one. Congrats!
Cuddles21 · 24/04/2021 13:43

@Pineapple87 - I'm also due on 21st Dec 😁

Pineapple87 · 24/04/2021 13:50

Awww that’s fab :)

Mosshead348 · 24/04/2021 15:06

Is it safe to sit in the garden with the sun on my belly? Under a tshirt. I’m not sunbathing but I’m trying anything to get warm and my anxious mind is sending me in over drive 😂 xx

TTC94 · 24/04/2021 15:45

@Amoh sorry for your loss!

Hope you are doing okay and feel optimistic about this pregnancy.

Sending positive vibes and energy your way xxx
