Is anyone else feeling constantly hungover? I have for about a week now. Constantly super thirsty, nauseous, dizzy, head ache, dry sore eyes, and don't feel like eating or drinking at all even though super thirsty and hungry

I've ordered some travel sick wrist bands and ginger hard sweets 🤞

My friend said it got better for her at 9 weeks, so hopefully only another couple weeks 🤞

Em39ma · 27/04/2021 08:02

I throw up as I move in the morning, then again after breakfast. Until yesterday that was all, but since yesterday throwing up when ever I eat anything. I’m thirsty too.

Peachthepiglet · 27/04/2021 08:06

Hiya @climbershell that is exactly how I feel. And so tired like I’ve been out partying a good few nights in a row. I’ve been trying to force myself to eat and feel better for the small period I’m eating. Awful before and after ha. I also tend to feel better in the morning! Really hope it gets better soon although I’m only 6+3. I also have sickness bands arriving today so fingers crossed!!

TreeRoad · 27/04/2021 08:24

I have my 8 week scan at 11.30 today. Is it normal to feel fine and not think much about what could go wrong, but on the morning of the scan, it’s ALL you can think about?

Hopefully all is ok. No concerning symptoms and heartbeat was seen a couple of weeks ago at 6+1. Just can’t shake the “what if...” mindset.

climbershell · 27/04/2021 08:28

I was supposed to be up by now, even tho awake nearly 2 hours before my alarm I don't want to move. Actually crying on and off, feeling sorry for myself with how shitty I feel and I guess just the hormones too

Had potatoes cubed in the air fryer last night which were ok to eat. Yoghurt and crisps ok too, tho still not appealing.

@Peachthepiglet I think I feel not quite as bad late morning and early afternoon

tuxedocat · 27/04/2021 08:38

@TreeRoad good luck for today. Scan-xiety is very real! I loved and hated all of my scans with my son. It’s brilliant but the worry and the dread before is horrid. Let us know how you get on! Sending good vibes your way

climbershell · 27/04/2021 08:43

@TreeRoad I think that's very normal and not a great deal you can do about it. I have my first scan (8.5 weeks) in a week and a half and trying not to think of it at all

Hope all goes well

Struggling to understand why something the size of a pea can make me feel so exhausted. I just want to lie down all the time and can't handle my daughter when she wants to play cause I just don't have the energy. Feel so bad

O know, it's crazy. Guess it takes a lot of energy to make a baby. I usually have my son on a Friday just the two of us but from last week he's been out to nursery that day too just cause I'm so tired. Luckily he loves nursery so I don't feel too bad and I have Friday to recoup all by myself so me and DH give him a great weekend.

Totally normal @TreeRoad. Good luck!

Hi, I suffer from really bad hayfever. I take an antihistamine but also a nose spray as otherwise I struggle. I’ve read antihistamines are safe but not sure about the nose spray. Does anyone have any advice?
Because I really struggled sleeping last night with a runny nose and itchy eyes all night.
Thanks x

Horehound · 27/04/2021 09:35

@Daisydrum I actually thought antihistamines weren't ok but maybe that's to do with breastfeeding.
I'd speak to your GP, sounds horrible.

For anyone still feeling stick I have found drinking fizzy stuff is better. I just take little sips of diluted juice with soda water. Seems to take the feeling away instantly.

First trimester is meant to be the worst isn't it? I think I'm 9 weeks today so only three weeks of hell left, yeh?!?!

I’m so tired and emotional today. Had the most vivid dream. It was me and my nan (who died 25 years ago) haven’t thought about her in a long time tbh. I was little and we went to a zoo and I took photos of her being silly, then the car journey turned into a trip to her wake (which never happened in real life) and I saw myself with toys crying. And my Mum crying (tho it was my dads Mum) I woke crying my head off and Partner had to calm me down. This was 5.30 and I couldn’t sleep again. Then I watched a fb video about rehoming a dog and I started again. Twice b4 8am is unheard for me.

Never had this with my 2 boys bizarre

jodielouise26 · 27/04/2021 09:57

Has anyone had any middle back/ kidney area pain/discomfort?
I can feel like a dull, uncomfortable feeling it that area as well as under my ribs. The feeling came on last night as I got into bed & all of a sudden I felt so sick! (Wasn't sick, wanted to be though!)

It's kind of similar aches to what I had with previous MC. Although I think the pain was in my lower back more.

Any help appreciated as I'm now freaking out.

I was debating calling the doctors for advise but I don't want them to just say it's pregnancy pains 🤷🏻‍♀️

Moo37 · 27/04/2021 09:59

Hello, I'd like to join, I am 5w4d with my third. Due on Xmas day. Nausea is starting to kick in, I was very ill till week 17 with my first two so not expecting anything different this time 🤦. All of mine have been by fertility treatment including this one. I had a chemical last month so Keeping everything crossed I have a strong sticky bean. 😁

Pineapple87 · 27/04/2021 10:20

Daisy I was told I can’t take any anti histamines, maybe try a homoeopath.

tuxedocat · 27/04/2021 10:32

@Moo37 welcome! I am 5+2 and due Boxing Day Grin

TakeYourFinalPosition · 27/04/2021 10:34

@Daisydrum I get really bad hayfever too... the doctor told me to stop antihistamines, but that nasal sprays might be okay, although they're linked to higher incidences of cleft palates in some mammals.

I've stopped using both, which has lead to a lot of sneezing, but a lot less worrying! Keeping the bedroom window closed so that no pollen gets in is helping too.

@MushroomQueen I'm sorry about your dreams! My dream last night was weirdly vivid too, but bizarrely I was planning Boris Johnson's wedding at a local park Hmm

I'm really nauseous today. And fighting the urge to book a private scan... my next EPU one is on the 8th May. The private places around here are pretty busy so can only do today/tomorrow or late next week... DH thinks we should just wait and it'll be fine.

@TreeRoad Best of luck today, I'm sure you're going to be fine Flowers

TTC94 · 27/04/2021 10:36

@jadelouise26 I’ve been having similar lower back pains too (on and off) and it’s also heightened my anxiety.

I am trying to be calm about it though and it’s not entirely persistent.

I’ve also had a miscarriage so I feel your pain regarding the uncertainty caused by aches pains!

Hopefully everything is okay if you have no bleeding xx

gizmo167 · 27/04/2021 10:43

Seems were all feeling anxious with every ache today!

I woke this morning noticing my boobs are a lot less sore than yesterday. Having had 2 mc's with both this is the one thing I noticed so to say I am worried is an understatement!

This really is my last chance and I cant lose this one too!!!

I am also having back pains although last night they were much higher up.

@gizmo167 I'm sure it's ok, symptoms do come and go. X
