Hi All, I'm due on the 4th December... a shock pregnancy as I'm 40 and I have 2 older kids 8 and 10 yrs old.

last pregnancy ended in MC at 13 weeks.

feel great this time round, no sickness etc which is amazing as last time I felt horrendous

@MissOrganisedMe sorry I wrote this last night and didn't send! yeh it's a smaller probe and it doesn't hurt. I think for ultrasound on top of your tummy you need a full bladder but if they need to do transvaginal in sure they ask you to go pee!

Hi, would like to join please :) due mid december i think. Am super nervous after 1 early miscarriage in september and 1 mmc in december which took ages to complete. Have a 20month old daughter. I am trying to feel confident but struggling. Anyone else nervous?

@rosed1008 I’m super nervous too. Had a chemical last May and an early miscarriage in September. Just praying this one is a sticky bean! 🤞🏻 I’m also due mid December, 14th I think.

@tuesday2am deep breaths and think positive is what I am trying to do! I keep telling myself there is no reason it should go wrong and if it does then there is nothing we can do. Heres to happy and healthy 9 months

I'm currently 5 weeks and 4 days today we found out last week. We had a missed miscarriage last year so hoping of a sticky baby 🌈 I'll be due earlier December

Have had some spotting and cramps since last night, earliest EPU can see me is next Thursday. 6+3 today and so far not a single symptom. Just don’t have a very good feeling

Huge hugs to those who've had previous mc. It's so worrying. I've got the most horrendous cramps. I'm not sure if it's normal or not ☹️

@AngeloMysterioso Can they not see you earlier? What about your GP? Or would they just refer you to EPY?

I currently have no symptoms apart from a stonking cold. Try not to worry.

@TreeRoad that appointment is with a GP referral. Only way I can be seen any sooner is to go to A&E

I'm nervous. This is my first time pregnant, but I know the stats... Next step get to 6 weeks

I'm more excited then nervous tho. And although only 4+2 (well I think, last period 6 March, but I ovulated late on cd20 this cycle so guessing a 32 day cycle) I'm so shattered! And have 2 huge spots basically in my bum crack which is not pleasant!! And mild cramp & right stitch more on than off

I am.also 40 will be 41 when I am due.
I was told to go to a&e yesterday as had a bit of bleeding and pain in arm. They referred me straight away to the EPU. I had bloods taken and urine checked. I then had a smear type test to check my cervix which was closed and then came back today for an internal scan. Luckily all is well but they are.keeping an eye on me so got another scan in 2 weeks.
Any worries or bleeding I would definitely urge you to go and get seen ASAP.

I couldn't wait until 11th when I wanted to tell my partner; (on his birthday) I've told him today because we're having a few drinks and takeaway for an early birthday tonight...

So now he knows I won't be drinking 😂

His reaction was just "no way! How?! We only dtd once!!" He's now calling himself super sperm 🙄😂

Hey girls! Thought I would update you with a happy early scan story! Mine was today and boy were we in for a shock 😂😂

There's 2 in there 🥰 I make myself 6+2 but measuring 6 weeks exactly (she said too early to be sure though especially as there are 2!!) can't quite believe it!!! It feels much more real now as well. Think we will be booking another scan around 10 weeks for some reassurance too. 12 weeks can't come soon enough now so that we can tell everyone.

@lucea87 awww lovely! Glad everything was ok as well. Was it you that was saying about your symptoms being quite strong which made you wonder if it was twins?!

@lucea87 It's next Wednesday, feels like about 2 million years away! I'll be 6+1 by then so one day behind your scan time.
