Hi thank you! @BrodieKD I'm feeling good, like this one might actually work as it's natural & I'm trying to think maybe it's chosen to cling on?? I'm on baby aspirin & given a short course of fragmin. My best friend carried our son previously as our surrogate so First baby for me but not first DC.

An Xmas baby yes!! I don't mind, just can't believe it's happened, I might have to have c section as I'm steroid dependant AND had multiple bowel surgeries so prob high risk 🤔I didn't get as far as the booking in appointment last time to ask

Well my nipples feel like a razor blade has gone over them I dont know HOW I'm still BF my son but there you go. I'm waiting for his current teething teeth to come in and then I'll be going cold turkey!

Hi, I was very similar to you. I went for my scan at around 5 weeks they predicted and said same in terms of seeing Ges sac and possible yolk but was to early to determine so I’m due back Tuesday when I’ll be 7 weeks! It feels like the longest 2 weeks of my life

Hi @LolaX94 I know you said you went for scan at roughly 5 weeks and there was maybe a yolk sac, this is exactly what happened to me but wasn’t clear. My HCG levels are high which has caused me to freak as to why they couldn’t see it, do you know if yours were high?xx

They didn’t even do any tests in terms of my HCG just told me to go back in 2 weeks. I have my next appointment at EPU on 27th my booking appointment is later on that day so I just hope everything goes ok! X

Hi everyone. You might remember me from last week. I thought I was 6 weeks 5 days pregnant so went for an early scan and the baby was v small with no heartbeat. I spent the next week convinced I had a Mmc but good news today - we got a heart beat on the rescan and good growth.Baby measuring 6 weeks and 3 days. Absolutely over the moon. I was so sure of my dates due to ovulation test but just goes to show baby growth rates are not linear.

My advice would be to wait until you are at 8 weeks to have the first scan - I've just had a week of hell that could have been avoided!

@horehound you may find he stops naturally, your milk will starting changing to colostrum and apparently it becomes much saltier which puts a lot of toddlers off continuing to feed!

My little one stopped just after he turned 2, told me he didn't need milk anymore as he was a big boy 🤣

I think we forget conception may not happen on day of ovulation, it can take up to 9 days I think so that's how some dates can be off.

@amysaurus87 I'm hoping that does happen, I read around 4 months it starts to reduce. But I also thought I felt my boobs produce a lot less a few weeks ago and for three days my boy didn't need a feed before bed he happily took milk from a supply cup. So I thought maybe my mill reduced and he went off it then he got ill and wanted it and now I'm back to square one. So I'm really hoping my milk will still dry up soon. Fingers crossed. He loves it so much though so I do feel guilty.
That's so cute your boy said he's a big boy and doesn't need milk! I can only dream lol

@sophierose77 yeh! So to conceive is 0-5 days and then implantation time on top. So this result is saying it could take 5-15 days! Your HCG will only rise after implantation :)

Does anyone not have any appetite at all? I cant get excited/interested in any food whatsoever. Not feeling nauseated just dont fancy anything. I think I am bang on 6 weeks.

@horehound the whole conception and ovulation thing is interesting, isn't it?

We weren't trying this month, I wasn't tracking my bbt or cycle, felt really horny one night - 1st April- we dtd and lo! April 14th I got a bfp. Don't know when I ovulated and didn't suspect I was up duffed until 14th! 😅

@MamaMoonbeam it is! Haha that's so funny. I actually do think less stress about conceiving helps and If your just happy and relaxed it seems like things just happen! :)

I'm still breastfeeding and my daughter shows zero signs of stopping anytime soon. If anything she's having more than she used to have 🤦🏼‍♀️ sometimes I'll let her feed for 30 minutes just so I can get some peace and quiet.

I booked my first scan for 11 May when I should be 7+5. I always start bleeding around 6 weeks though and each time I tell myself to just relax and wait for the scan but I never can and always bring the scan forward to see what's going on.

I found out this month I am expecting number 3! I already have a nearly 3 year old and a 6 year old. According to NHS calculator due date around 15 Dec.

I got BFP yesterday, reckon I'm about 4wk2 or thereabouts, AF was due Tuesday-ish, have had 2 mc's in the past year, both at the 6 week mark so needless to say I am VERY nervous! Also, I'm 43!

I honestly thought I had written on this thread but my brain is fried and now I can't find my original post (so I probably ended up writing on a completely random thread which has nothing to do about pregnancy...)

I'm ancient (geriatric pregnancy) and have 2 DC. 11 & 9. This is DP's first. EDD 7/12. Desperately hoping this one is really sticky, MC last October. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

After reading about the fact it can take days for implantation I'm now worried I've booked my scan too early lol. According to my app I'll be 6 +6 when I get it. Is this too early? X
