Hi ladies! I’m due around 17th Dec, so 5+5 ish, got very sore boobs and tired but no real nausea yet. I had a missed MC last year and I had no symptoms at all so very anxious and almost desperately waiting for some sort of sickness to start.
I got to 7 weeks last time so the next couple of weeks are really going to drag but trying to stay positive!

IndigoJam · 21/04/2021 19:22

@KES22 hey, same as me. Due 17th and 5+5. More tired and night and my boobs are sore but that's about it for me.

Mumtotwofurbabies · 21/04/2021 19:50

@KES I’m in a similar situation to you..miscarriages at 7 weeks, 5 weeks now and desperate for sickness to start 😆

amysaurus87 · 21/04/2021 20:09

6 weeks today and still waiting for my booking appointment...sent 2 online referrals (one of them 2 weeks ago) and still not heard anything...no phone numbers that I can find to call either so it's a bit of a waiting game!

Haven't told work yet, but my in laws have guessed as I wasn't drinking at the weekend and got not so subtly taking my pregnancy pillow out of their attic! Telling my parents this weekend! Will tell everyone else in the family after 12 week scan.

Ladies having baby number 2...when are you planning an telling your little ones about new baby? My LB has been asking for a baby sister since the start of the year, so I think we will tell him once I've had 12 week scan.

Still symptom free mostly apart from crippling tiredness, I'm not worried as I was exactly the same with my little boy!

I've managed to maintain my weight despite being constant hungry

Cuddles21 · 21/04/2021 21:28

I would love to tell my mam but know DH would feel it was too early and probably wouldn't like me telling my mam before his parents as first grandchild on that side so wouldn't be fair I suppose! My dad passed away in 2003 so he's not here to tell but feel he knows anyway as got my bfp on his birthday 😊

Hxoxox · 21/04/2021 21:39

@cuddles aww that's lovely! ☺️ definitely a sign! X

climbershell · 21/04/2021 21:44

Sent my best friend a picture of the BFP seconds after. She knew hours before my partner as waited to see him after work.

Will have to tell a couple friends in a few weeks as we rock climb and I'll only be belaying them on climbs well below their limit and climbing below mine outside now. Other than that Walt til 8 week scan and poss tell my dad, as he's very low recovering from several major surgeries. Will wait til 12 week scan to tell partners parents and other family and friends

Vemjs · 21/04/2021 21:51

We've told all immediate family! tbh I rang my
Mum within half hour of the bfp!
I kind of go by the motto that if I would tell them anyway if the worst happened they can know now.
Most people are fully aware of the risks involved this early on as well

Patapouf · 21/04/2021 22:24

Can I join?
BFP this evening after AF was a couple of days late. Due date is Christmas Day ShockShock
Still doesn't quite feel real, we were going to start property trying next month and this month was practice 😂
Have a toddler DS already who Im now desperately trying to wean!!

Cuddles21 · 21/04/2021 22:52

Welcome @Patapouf and congrats on the bfp!

tuesday2am · 21/04/2021 23:34

Thanks for all the good luck wishes guys! 🥰

Scan went really well. I thought I was 6+2 but turns out I’m 5+5 but was still lucky enough to see our little bean and get a nice strong heartbeat. Feel so relieved now! So due date is currently 17th Dec.

Amoh · 21/04/2021 23:35

Hello everyone. Can I join in the conversation? I fell pregnant right after a ruptured ectopic last month (what are the odds!?). Started with sore breasts and mild cramps as if preparing for a period that never came. Got my first BFP (actually it was a very faint almost nothing line) on the 13th. No LMP to count back from but I found out today that I’m 5 weeks along. EDD is 23rd of December though I doubt they’ll have me last that long (type 1 diabetic here).

Anyone else feel like holding their breath until they’re past the first trimester?

Amoh · 21/04/2021 23:41

@Vemjs I was planning on telling my director around the 12 weeks mark. Doesn’t seem necessary to alert them beforehand.

Cuddles21 · 22/04/2021 06:38

Hi @Amoh. I am absolutely holding my breath until through the first trimester! I tried to suggest to DH we should get a private scan at 7 weeks but he doesn't see the point! He's not a worrier like me!! I'm 5+3 and my doctor said the 12 week scan is between 12 - 15 weeks which feels like forever away!! I just really hope all goes OK.

Mosshead348 · 22/04/2021 08:29

Hi @Amoh, congrats on your pregnancy!! Similar situation to me, MC in March and feel pregnant straight after it. Is this your first baby? I am desperate for the next few weeks to pass constantly worrying and googling (the enemy!!!)xx

Minster2012 · 22/04/2021 08:49

Hi, please can I join?

Got my BFP last weekend, I ovulated on Easter weekend so i think I'm around 5 weeks or so if you go by LMP or just under if based on ovulation. Either way baby expected around xmas eve/Xmas day/Boxing day

DC 2, first was surrogacy to my best friend & Had a rocky start getting here, with 3 ivfs last year, including a MMC at the start of the first lockdown so it's my first time carrying a child. This one conceived naturally on my first ever proven ovulation after DH & I never been able TTC naturally Cos of my chemo treatment, we were having a month or two off the ivf before starting all over again & my 2nd Covid jab would have been right in the middle so put off ivf number 5. This one probably implanted on the weekend I had my second AZ jab 😂

I'm so scared due you lots of medical problems & potential miscarriage 🤞🏻

Horehound · 22/04/2021 08:54

@Cuddles21 just book a scan if you want one, it's not up to your husband. Just book and go yourself if you want to see, let him miss out.
I'd say "I've booked a scan, come if you like". :)

Anyone getting constant dull cramps? Phoned EPU who said unless severe nothing to worry about so just want to make sure it’s normal!xx

climbershell · 22/04/2021 09:18

@Mosshead348 yeah I had cramps pretty much daily first couple weeks, and twinges on and off now. Seems very normal, unless they get intense or with bleeding

Mosshead348 · 22/04/2021 09:22

@climbershell great thank you, I am a totally worried after MC so good to hear from others xx

BrodieKD · 22/04/2021 09:25

@Cuddles21 I agree with @Horehound - if you want a private scan then I'd book a scan.

@Mosshead348 I did week 4/5 but I feel like they come and go now. It's my first so I am just putting it down to my body moving in ways it hasn't moved before. It does make you worry though x

BrodieKD · 22/04/2021 09:39

@Minster2012 congratulations! You have been on some journey! How are you feeling apart from being worried? A little Christmas baby x

Horehound · 22/04/2021 09:43

@Minster2012 wow congratulations!! It is a worrying time but we are all here to support you! Great news :)

@tuesday2am that's great about your scan! Can't believe you can see a heartbeat at 5+5, how wild is that?!

tuxedocat · 22/04/2021 09:57

Hi all!

I got my positive last Friday, and I’m currently 4+4, due Boxing Day 😱
I had complications with my son due to cholestasis and he was induced (but on his way anyway!) at 38+6 so I’m not sure what will happen.

Like everyone else I feel like I can’t breathe or relax! I didn’t find out with my son until I was 5 weeks so this extra week has felt like the LONGEST 😂

I’m so glad to hear of everyone’s positive scans, I’m hoping to get one on the cusp of 6+6/7weeks before I’ll tell anyone or breathe a slight sigh of semi relief! I work with my family so it’s difficult not telling anyone but I feel like second time around it feels even more scary?! I was so ignorant last time but this time I feel much more anxious.

No symptoms here except the odd sore boob every now and then, an upset stomach every morning and a little hungrier! I had zero symptoms with my son last time and I didn’t believe it under I had a scan at 8 weeks. I feel the same this time 🙈

TTCMumma94x · 22/04/2021 10:01

Hi! Can join please? Found out a couple days ago I’m pregnant with my second. Only 4 weeks so really early! Looks like my due date is roughly 30th Dec.
No symptoms bar dull cramps everyday. They feel exactly like my tom cramps apart from less severe. I never had them with my first I wasn’t sure if it was a normal symptom or not xx
