Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

So glad it’s not just me ladies, this is my first pregnancy and it wasn’t planned so I feel really lost as to what’s normal or not!

I haven’t even called my GP, I’m in Liverpool so we have a really good hospital with the women’s but I don’t know if I refer myself or what! I was going to wait a week and just see what happens.

I did a digital test this morning and it said 2-3 weeks so can I assume I am no more than 5 weeks based on that?

You’d think I’d know a lot more being in my thirties but I don’t 🙈

We’ll all have a 4am club if this carries on but at least we won’t be alone!

squidlady · 08/03/2021 09:27

@Strawberry0998 I'm so up for 4am club, it's a lonely time lying there listening to my husband snoring and squeezing my boobs to make sure they're still sore 😂😳

Actually this part of pregnancy is quite lonely full stop, don't you think? Glad there's this thread!!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 08/03/2021 09:32

It really is. I haven't told anyone irl other than DH and probably won't till well past 12 weeks. Also have the world's most complicated work setup to navigate, so no telling anyone there! Last time round I ended up telling a friend at about 4/5 weeks because I passed out in her living room from low blood pressure and freaked her out, trying to avoid that again Grin.

These threads are amazing as you don’t feel like such a crazy person. You are right about the loneliness, it is so hard with all these horrible thoughts going through your head and no one to talk to. Thank you all for being there!

@Strawberry0998 I am in my 30s too and just like a lost teenager at the moment.

4am club is a great idea! Not quite the same as the 4am clubs we probably all used to go to 😂

DizSquiz · 08/03/2021 09:54

I'll join the 4am club 😅 I seem to be awake at this time which is causing havoc for routine BBT

Only my DH knows as it was a bit of a shock I don’t think I’ve fully accepted it yet in my brain but my good my body knows it 😂

I am fully WFH at the moment which is nice with the lack of sleep, but I was late logging on this morning (I’m usually a 8am!) as I just couldn’t get out of bed I was so exhausted and my boss my rang me once I got on at 8:30 all worried and I was so close to telling her just so she knew but I couldn’t do it. Luckily I manage my own time and have lots of flexibility, I think because I am always the early manager online she was worried something had happened. Think I might need to start working towards a later log on to help.

How scary you passed out @AlackAlasAlackaday- hope you were ok? Is there anything you can do to try avoid that this time?

@GSMCK Haha absolutely not the same 4am club I knew so well in my 20’s! A lost teenager is exactly how I feel too - I’m on coffee number 2 this morning and I suddenly panicked that I can’t even do that anymore (although I did look it up and 2 is ok but I don’t be having my usual 4-5 cups of coffee anymore!) x

Eoglove · 08/03/2021 10:25

This is so lovely to hear everyone is feeling the same at the minute!

I took another test this morning & still showing 1-2 weeks (first positive was on Saturday).. but latest I would’ve conceived could have been 20th feb.. feeling really deflated! 😢

LikeSomeKindOfMadness · 08/03/2021 10:35

Hello everyone, can I join please? Looks like I'm due around 9.11. but not quite sure about dates. I think I might be around 5ish weeks now. I have now filled out the referral for maternity care and will see when I hear back. I'm also considering a private scan to see about dates and as our trust doesn't allow partners for scans yet.

@maya000 I've also been having some spotting. I didn't last time at this point so felt quite scary but doesn't seem unusual.

MissDaniB · 08/03/2021 10:45

Im also part of this weird insomnia 4am club - isn’t it mad? I’m exhausted all day. Especially in the afternoon and then bam middle of the night I’m awake (and usually starving)

I have really bad nausea this morning - worst it’s been, but still not even 5 weeks.

I told my 2 best friends this morning as I couldn’t lie to them. They both knew 😂

MissDaniB · 08/03/2021 10:45

I also am considering a private scan for around 8 weeks - just to see a heart beat and make sure everything is going okay in there.

LikeSomeKindOfMadness · 08/03/2021 10:55

I'm the same @MissDaniB So exhausted but at night time? Nope. Hours of being awake.

I had a scan at exactly 8 weeks last time and it was lovely, very clear and so reassuring. I'd like to have that again ideally.

squidlady · 08/03/2021 11:02

@Eoglove That's fine, 20th would put you at 16dpo and it's really common to still be at 1-2 then! I have such a love/hate relationship with the weeks indicator tests, I nearly had a breakdown the first week after my BFP panicking about why mine didn't show 3+ yet... I got it eventually, everyone's different and they're not that reliable.

AlackAlasAlackaday · 08/03/2021 11:14

It was totally fine, I came to a few seconds later to find my friend, her DH and two toddlers looming over me looking worried. Apparently low blood pressure (or blood sugar?) in pregnancy is a thing some people have, so just need to avoid standing suddenly etc. I used to keep some dried fruit in my pocket after that to munch if I felt myself getting light-headed.

Hi all, anyone else getting sharp pains in stomach when sneezing? Google says round ligament pain but didn’t think this started until second trimester and I’m only just over 5 weeks.

Had good rising hcg levels last week and an early scan that shows gestational sac and yolk sac but as not at 6 weeks yet, no baby or heartbeat to confirm viability so back in a couple of weeks to hopefully confirm.

Soooo anxious, still symptom logging and worrying if I feel slightly better one day from the next x

Garman · 08/03/2021 11:23

@Nov21 round ligament pain starts very early for me after my first pregnancy, it was my first symptom on my second pregnancy before I even missed my period. I get it at about 4-5 weeks since.

My 3 year old has been waking up and wanting to get up for the day at 4 or 5 am recently so I'm awake then too, not cool!

Garman · 08/03/2021 11:25

@GSMCK I've gone a step further and not even told my DH. I didn't intend to keep it quiet, but when I think of doing it I think what's the point when it could already be a mmc that I don't know about? So I'm actually planning on waiting until after an early scan to tell him either way, but that also means I need to contact the gp to arrange it in epu, which I don't want to do!

LikeSomeKindOfMadness · 08/03/2021 11:45

@Nov21 I've been getting this too. And when I move quickly. It's definitely round ligament pain but I didn't remember it starting this early either.

Nnovember · 08/03/2021 11:52

@Nov21 I've had this too and when standing up quickly. I didn't put it down to pregnancy as I don't remember this happening before but yes it it must be round ligament pain. Glad to know it's just not me then.

I've been getting waves of nausea and really hungry or thirsty every few hours.

Really can't wait for the insonmia to go away!

Strawberry0998 · 08/03/2021 11:59

I’ve also been very twingy and feeling like low pain stretching which I thought was odd for being so early!

The digital test I took this morning said 2-3 so I can only be 4-5 weeks so it seems super early for any cramp type pain/movements.

Have spent this morning reading my work maternity policy just so I am informed!

Sunbird24 · 08/03/2021 12:15

@Nov21 yup, if I’m in bed and feel a sneeze coming on I have to bring my knees up to my chest!

Nov21 · 08/03/2021 12:47

Glad it’s not just me!! Might try the knees to chest trick next time, at the moment I’m just trying my best to hold the sneezes in!

I’m really struggling with fatigue the last 10 days, I have no energy or motivation to do anything, I’m napping more and needing a lot more sleep, hoping it’s a good sign though that my body needs the energy to keep growing the baby, I don’t remember being this tired last time when I had the miscarriage so I am finding it encouraging... just hoping it continues!

I’m also struggling with wanting to eat anything healthy, I’m a big carb lover anyway but the thought of healthy food makes me feel weird, not like I’m going to be sick but just ergh and don’t want it! Anyone else finding this?

MissDaniB · 08/03/2021 12:49

I’ve just had garlic bread and soup for lunch as it was all I could face eating!

Nov21 · 08/03/2021 12:55

The only healthy thing I’m managing to fancy is banana and berries and only in a smoothie!
Taking pregnacare plus so hopefully baby is getting all the nutrients needed from the tablets as my diet doesn’t feel like it will be giving it much at the moment which I feel really guilty about!

sheslikebutter · 08/03/2021 12:57

Hi all, congrats to you all!

I just got my BFP - I'm terrified. I lost my daughter in 2017 at 21 weeks gestation. She had a severe Diaphragmatic Hernia and wouldn't have survived.

I'm nervous and scared that everything that can go wrong will go wrong. I haven't started my folic acid yet as I just didn't think I'd concieve so quickly again (new partner than last time). I'm about 3 weeks 2 days and will be starting them today when they arrive, would this be OK?

AlackAlasAlackaday · 08/03/2021 13:05

Hi shes congratulations! Gosh what a journey you've had, fingers crossed for you.

I expect that's absolutely fine re folic acid, it's such early days. I know they recommend them while TTC but real life gets in the way.
