Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@Ttc2017 I hope you feel better soon thinking of you xx

Horehound · 20/03/2021 21:38

Hellooo! I got a positive test today... totally wasn't expecting it as I'd tested for two weeks with nothing. I had two ovulation surges this month but I think I actually ovulated 2 weeks ago but my last period started 9th Feb so my app says I'm 6 weeks 5 days but I think I'm actually 4 weeks maybe some days too. I have booked a scan for 11th April just to know more around the data but I think I'm currently due around 30th November!

Bonniecoloo · 21/03/2021 07:51

Congratulations everyone who’s joined!
Tested yesterday and finally got a 3+! I know it may seem silly to others but after having 2 MC in a row at the end of last year and only ever reaching 2-3 on these tests, it really made my weekend! (I know anything can happen still)

Due November 2021 - anyone?
Horehound · 21/03/2021 09:03

That's great @Bonniecoloo

pineapple2021 · 21/03/2021 09:22

@Bonniecoloo do you know your due date? I think I'll take another digital this week as I did it with evening wee so the dating wasn't accurate I don't think.
Can imagine your worries..... this is my first pregnancy and I'm freaking out that I only have sore boobs.

Rmd123 · 21/03/2021 09:27

@Bonniecoloo that's great news 😃

@pineapple2021 I have no symptoms! I was a bit crampy for a week but that died off. I took another test two mornings ago cause I was paranoid and there's still a strong line. I'm a little bit more thirsty and peeing more but I'm probably peeing more cause I'm drinking more 😂

pineapple2021 · 21/03/2021 09:32

@Rmd123 okay phew.... how far along are you? It's so strange isn't it just feeling totally normal! We shouldn't complain as we might feel very ill soon haha. I guess everyone has the whole "am I still pregnant" worries!

Bonniecoloo · 21/03/2021 09:36

@pineapple2021 it’s my first too. I’m 5+4 today with a due date of 17th November. I had such sore boobs to start with and cramps but they’ve calmed down now and my boobs only feel slightly tender in the evening.

@Rmd123 Weirdly being super thirsty was one of my first signs that I thought I might be pregnant as I just couldn’t stop drinking which of course makes me wee every half hour!

Dinosaurus86 · 21/03/2021 09:50

Hi all, how is everyone feeling today? I had a terrible night’s sleep after working myself up over cramps and feeling like I will lose the baby. I hope some of you are feeling more positive!

Rosie189 · 21/03/2021 10:05

Hi @Dinosaurus86 how far along are you? I’m 5+1. My cramps have massively eased up had loads from when I found out till now but settling a lot. I’m feeling less tired and not had sore boobs yet. I have been feeling sicky in the mornings but this weekend felt much better than the past week. Trying to remember symptoms can come and go.

ELK1234 · 21/03/2021 10:12

Hey thought I would join I am 5 +4 also due 17th November. But some apps say 20th due to longer cycles. I only feel a bit sick when wake up and find my usual runs so hard. Sore boobs in evenings too.

This will be my rainbow baby as also had a loss at 14 weeks (trismony 13/pataus tfmr).

So I am incredibly scared but foetal medicine giving me an early scan at 9 weeks so trying to count down to that!.

Dinosaurus86 · 21/03/2021 10:21

Hi @Rosie189, yes I find the inconsistency difficult. I’m 4+5 and had felt like my cramps were easing up but they came back last night with a vengeance and felt lower and more periody, which really panicked me. I’ve had very slightly sore boobs but that’s eased off - adding to the panic!

Is this your first pregnancy? It is mine, and it’s taken quite a long time to get here, so that’s compounding my anxiety! I really wish I could just relax and enjoy it! I ordered a baby book yesterday afternoon so feel like doing that might have jinxed things! Illogical of course...

Rosie189 · 21/03/2021 10:26

It is my first @Dinosaurus86 been ttc for 19/20months. Found out 10days ago and had an appointment with ivf consultant 3 days ago 🤣. I’m trying to stay calm and believe it will all work out but it is stressful. I had a tiny amount of brown spotting in the middle of the night last week when I got up for a pee. Sent myself into a spiral of panic.

I get what you mean. I looked at some books then felt like it was too early. Told a few people and worried that was jinxing it too.

Dinosaurus86 · 21/03/2021 10:36

@Rosie189 it seems to happen a lot - we were just referred and I’d booked a private IVF consultation for early May! Though I think our problems were perhaps caused by a polyp, which I had removed in January.

I’m glad it’s not just me but sorry you’ve been panicking too. I can read cramps and spotting are very common over and over, but it doesn’t make me feel much better about it. I’ve already told my mum, but only because I would want to tell her if it goes wrong.

Dinosaurus86 · 21/03/2021 10:39

I’m really sorry about your loss @ELK1234 - it’s such a fraught process.

I’m planning to get an early scan around 9 weeks too (privately - not because of any history) - for now, just desperately hoping I’ll get that far! It’s tempting to go earlier but it seems sometimes that causes more uncertainty than reassurance.

Rosie189 · 21/03/2021 10:40

@Dinosaurus86 I told my parents and best friend. Too hard not to when they knew about consultation. Also told 2 friends at work as some safety concerns with my job and telling them helps me keep safe without everyone knowing. My nhs referral came through this week too for April. Haven’t wanted to cancel it yet but really should.

Dinosaurus86 · 21/03/2021 10:58

I haven’t cancelled mine either yet @Rosie189! Or told my doctor! I feel like that would definitely be jinxing it. I’m lucky that I can work from home for now, so I don’t have to think about telling colleagues. Although I find sitting for long periods incredibly uncomfortable at the moment. I’m hoping it’s just everything kind of stretching into place.

Does anyone know if it’s better at this stage to rest or to try to stay fairly active? I’ve been going for a gentle walk every day which does seem to help cramps a bit - at least temporarily. But I’m not sure if that means I should be doing more or less! Otherwise I’ve mainly been lying on the sofa as much as possible. So far I only feel a bit more tired than normal but I think that’s largely down to poor sleep at night.

ELK1234 · 21/03/2021 11:03

@Dinosaurus86. I think you can keep as active as you were. I did a short run yesterday and then walked 16km...... But was active pregnancy it also take my mind off all the pregnancy scariness. It wasn't a mega fast walk more a potter around all day with lots of hot drinks. Though I am massively finding not being able to drink as much caffeine as I want a downer!

pineapple2021 · 21/03/2021 12:26

@ELK1234 I'm with you on the caffeine..... the first few days were killer I almost fell asleep at work.
I've also just been keeping active but sitting when I feel tired! Just so nervous.

DauntedAF · 21/03/2021 13:15
