Fingers crossed something happens this week for me, due Friday and went over by 2 weeks with my first two. Lots of sitting on my ball and walking the dog planned for this week 🤞

Due date for me today and no sign of anything! I think a lot of us are going to tip over into March!

Good Morning

Well, l've started to losing my mucas plug. I've also had a lot of pressure on my back and pelvis.

My due date is tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Hi Ladies, haven’t had a chance to read through yet hope you are all doing well. Following my last post, I had my little boy at 10:12am Saturday morning, on his due date, weighing a lovey 7lb 9oz. It was a pretty difficult and traumatic labour and I have a 2nd degree tear and possible fracture of my tailbone which I’m struggling to process but my little boy is doing brilliantly thankfully which is the most important thing and he’s just amazing 💙 I’m in a large amount of pain and feeling extremely fragile and weak at the moment so trying to muddle through best I can but he’s worth every single second x

@MissKhan1990 very jealous that you're losing your mucus plug 😂 fingers crossed the end is in sight for you! I have my sweep at 2.45pm so we'll see if that can get things going for me

As an update, I had a further scan yesterday for checking fluid levels, turns out they’ve increased. So my induction has now moved to Monday (March baby for me) !

Have been having irregular (every 10-15 or even 20 minutes) painful contractions since 4am. Barely slept. Hope the pattern becomes regular and the need for induction doesn’t arise.

Sorry to hear you had a difficult labour @Ariana87, all you can do is try and rest yourself (as much as you can with a newborn) but glad to hear your little boy is here & well!!

Had my first sweep this morning, wasnt the worst thing in the world to be honest! I took 2 paracetamol an hour before, probs didnt make any difference but in my head it would! Over before I knew it & she said Im 1cm. I have some bleeding now and back pain but otherwise no change will just try and keep active ! Also booked in for another sweep Friday & Induction date 2nd March 😔 At least its only a week left

I really hope things pick up after you have the sweep. Its basically a waiting game now for most of us. Here's hoping are babies will be with us soon.

I had some back pain and cramping over the weekend but it's completely stopped so feel like my wee one is just comfy for now! Not due till Thursday so trying not to be too impatient- easier said than done!

2 failed sweeps, not dialated, not fully effaced, inner opening to womb tightly sealed shut and already 3 days overdue. I'm so very f-ed off now, dunno when I'll post again tbh. See you around ladies and good luck to those who are due etc

@TeaPiglet please don't worry. I know I'll feel the same. I'm due on Thursday. I'm not feeling anything. DTD although was very uncomfortable. I'm not feeling any of the methods to try to induce labour. I'm royally fed up too but the truth is all babies are different and it's fine. Hopefully we will see our babies soon. I've been watching YouTube video of women who said ohh yeah I naturally induced my baby at 37 weeks. Well I have been trying but it doesn't work for everyone and like I said all babies are different. Chillis/spicy food are making me vomit this pregnancy which they didn't last time. Walking hasn't helped. Nipple stimulation is a big no no. My body is too sensitive. I'm just going to wait...I guess it will happen when we least expect it...

@TeaPiglet I know how you feel. I'm having no signs at all and I'm due on Friday but my MW has refused to even do my 1st sweep until I'm 41 weeks.
I've been here twice as both were overdue and it's very frustrating but the end is in sight, don't put so much pressure on yourself...it's like watching a pot for it to boil or the clock in work 🤔 time is much slower when you're waiting for something to happen
