36 weeks and baby is ‘quiet’ today

I normally feel him first thing in the morning when I wake up but I haven’t this morning. I came downstairs and had a coffee (that usually makes him move) he moved slightly (flutters but not as strong as normal) I’ve had a lie down on my left side as this usually gets him moving too but no movement. Is it normal to have ‘quiet’ days? I’ve had 3 growth scans so far and at each scan he has slightly dropped. He started on the 90th percentile and he’s now on the 50th. The doctor wasn’t overly concerned but I have to go back in 12 days for another scan and she said depending on the result of the scan I may need to be induced a little earlier. I will phone triage but I feel a bit silly doing so considering I have had a few fluttersConfused

@Peachyqueen Luckily a doctor came to me at just after 9. They have given me another 6 hour pessary as my waters weren’t quite ready to be broken yet but they are coming back at 3 and she said she’s fairly certain she will be able to break them then. Bishop score was apparently 5 although I had no idea what that meant so had to googleGrin Still fed up but it seems (hope I don’t jinx myself) that things are going to get going later on x

Good that you (finally) got seen. Score of 5 means that there's been some progression. With luck that pessary will do the trick. 🤞🏻Rest up as much you can today.

Oh good luck OP. My inductions always takes days (5 both times). It is so boring and you just want it over with.. hope it happens soon.
