I’m due DC2 on the 9th (according to online calculator) and only found out yesterday.

Hi guys! I'm four weeks today with a due date 23 Oct according to the calculators I found online. I only found out I was pregnant 2 days ago but I will call my GP soon to see what they recommend to do now. I tried to request to join the FB group but did not hear back from crabette.. Maybe the group is now full?

Thank you all so much for your messages! 5 weeks so still early. I will call them on Monday to confirm. Ive been through some other threads on here today, probably not the best idea, but ive seen women having to wait a few days for a scan so hopefully I can be seen quickly and have a definite answer. I have pcos and this was our first month trying to i was completely amazed to catch first time so im feeling positive knowing we can get pregnant. But im trying to pray for the best but prepare for the worst

Thanm you. My DH has been so sweet today which has helped keep my mind at ease. Hard to ignore as i have cramps but i'll get through it. Definitely going to call EPU on monday

Been following this thread a bit, but wasn't sure if I want to jinx myself by posting earlier as I had a CP back in Oct, and joined a pregnancy thread for June....sadly one post and I was out! This time around, tested for line progression and got my dye stealer on frer at 5+5, and today at 6+3 I got a 3+ on clear blue digital 😊 think it is safe enough now to officially join a pregnancy group! Due date is around 12th Oct (altho FF thinks it's 7th Oct, I ovulate late compared to others, usually around cd20).

How is everyone getting through these days waiting for their first scan? I'm going crazy already....hence became poas addict, but I don't think I would get anything more from them now...so need to find another distraction. Thinking of booking a private scan before mother's Day, and then tell both sides of the parents!

@frols sorry to hear about the cramps and bleeding, hope you are ok, sending hugs

Congrats @ACWI2021. I know what you mean, I can't wait to be able to tell everyone. I've already told all on my side of the family 🙈 we've had ivf and first scan is at 7 1/2 weeks, so second week of March, NHS scan is booked at 12 weeks. But even the three weeks I'm not sure I can wait. I just want to see with my own eyes if everything is ok. Private scans are £59 so that feels worth the peace of mind.
When is your first scan?

Congrats @ACWI2021 welcome to the POAS addict club. I've also taken multiple to check line got darker then did one that showed 3+ as turned 5 weeks. Nowhere else to go now so am trying and failing to channel my inner chill 😆 I've booked a scan for 8 weeks but that's still almost 3 weeks away!

Thanks @jonrik @sandsandwiches I've just sent self referral form to hospital, so will probably get a letter about first scan. Going by my estimated dates, most likely will be late march. Thinking to book private scan for either end of Feb at 8 weeks or wait until 10weeks and have it done just before mother's Day so I'll know I am definitely still ok to announce it 🤣

Sounds good @ACWI2021 I think self referral will be my distraction activity tomorrow, makes it all feel more real! I've booked scan at 8 weeks to space things out, not sure I could handle waiting till 10 but if you want to announce on mother's day makes sense!

TTC cycle 1 with my second and after a string of BFNs all the way up to my missed period using FRERs, I just got a BFP today. Confused about my dates now!

I hope you are doing well x I just have a quick question, have you had any hcg levels test done with this or previous pregnancies? I had one done last week when I was around 6 +4/5 and it came back as 13,052 u/l. I almost wish I never asked for the levels to be done, now I'm worried its not high enough. Scan this coming weekend seems long way off!

May I ask, why did you ask for it to be done?

Due 20th and it’s my first at 39 years young! Only my partner knows so far as early days, desperate to tell the world! We thought it may take longer to conceive as I’m older, but 1 ovulation and here we are!

@Smilymami yes I did ask due to 2 previous losses. I didn’t realise the levels mean nothing until you have it done few times to see if they double. My midwife said it all looks good to her and no point doing anymore at this stage. I’ve got an early scan this coming weekend.

@Katie1109 I haven’t been offered any and haven’t asked for any either. I’ve a scan this Sunday too and it feels like forever away!
