Anyone else about 4 weeks?

I'm very very early on, having found out last week. Desperately hoping this little bean sticks - the road to 12 weeks seems very, very long after my previous mc. Still not sure I really believe this is happening!

Just wondered if anyone else was about at the same point and wanted some company?

Hey @treesall congrats! Sorry to hear about a previous mc. I've just found out today so must have similar dates to you. I've joined a thread with lots of ladies due sept, I'll try tag you in ☺️

treesall · 19/01/2021 21:26

Thanks @BettyRem I have joined the sept thread. But I feel a lot further behind, so just wondered if there was a smaller group with closer dates who might like to chat! Congratulations to you too, so exciting :-)

Is it your first?

Me!!!

I’m 4+2 today and it’s already dragging after getting my bfp at 8dpo when I would have only been 3+1!!!

Due date should be 26th September but I will be having an elective c section a little earlier as I’ve had 3 previous sections.

I feel extremely nervous and like even posting here will jinx things as I’ve had 4 miscarriages in the past 12 months. But I’m trying to stay hopeful that this will be my rainbow baby!

treesall · 19/01/2021 22:03

@Moominmiss congratulations! I'm 4+2 too and due 27th set I think.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. 4 miscarriages must be so devastating. I've had only one, plus a chemical and I can't imagine going through that so many times. I had the same nervousness in coming on here but talking to others helps keep my inner crazy under control!!

BeeDavis · 20/01/2021 11:48

I’ve just this morning had a positive pregnancy test - first baby, only in our first proper month of TTC so very very shocked when I saw the + sign this morning!!! I think I’m nearly 4 week.. tbh I have absolutely no clue about all the jargon etc Confused

Fro93 · 20/01/2021 11:52

I have just found out today, after 20 months ttc and I’m terrified. Cramping is awful I’m hoping it’s not a chemical 😬. I’m trying to stay positive, have done nothing at work today 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have pcos so not sure of dates but going to take a clear blue at lunchtime and hope that indicates around 4 weeks or so.

Congratulations ladies! Wishing you all the best with this xx

AliceThroughTheLookingGlass · 20/01/2021 11:59

I found out yesterday, due about 25th Sept I think!

Excited, but also dreading the next few weeks as I had hyperemesis last time that started at week 5-6 and if it's the same again I have no idea how I'm going to cope with a toddler (poor husband!).

treesall · 20/01/2021 12:18

@BeeDavis big congratulations! That's super exciting. We conceived our first that way too, I was so prepared for it to take months and it happened first time - couldn't believe it! Great news for you :-)

Big congratulations to you too @Fro93, must be such a happy moment after 20m ttc! So pleased for you. I can relate to the distraction at work - I am staring at my laptop a lot and not getting much done! Let us know how you get on with your clear blue one. I think you need to use fmu or a long hold for the weeks indicator to be accurate though?

@AliceThroughTheLookingGlass yay for you! Congratulations. Eeeek about the hyperemesis, that must be so awful. I had fairly bad nausea and sickness with my first pregnancy but I can't imagine what it must be like to have that. I hope you don't get it so badly this time. I have the same fear about sickness with my 2 year old around. Gahhh!

Lovely to have some buddies at the same stage. I hope everyone is feeling ok and wishing sticky babies for everyone xx

Yay congrats ladies!
I got a bfp today at 9dp and am so glad to be back on the pregnancy board after a mc at 6+3 in November.

Currently excited but at very aware this will quickly turn into anxiety. Have already been googling viability scans!

nellly · 20/01/2021 12:57

Hello! I'm 3 + 5 today and would like to join, I'm not sure I count as September because different calculators put me due either 30th or 1st October!! Exciting but feels like a long road to 12 weeks

treesall · 20/01/2021 13:29

Welcome and big congratulations @SenoraSurf and @nellly!

I am in the same boat with the worry of a previous miscarriage @SenoraSurf but trying to stay positive or I think I'll go crazy with worry.

@nellly the road to 12 weeks is so, so long. But last time I found it so helpful to have others to chat to who are in the sane position. Hopefully we can keep each other sane!

Oops didn't mean to make that all bold!!

AliceThroughTheLookingGlass · 20/01/2021 13:35

Thanks @treesall it wasn't pleasant but at least I can get myself prepared this time as I know what I'm potentially (but hopefully not!!) facing. I've already got a doctor's appointment to talk through what meds I can take at this stage if needed. The hyperemesis for me was 24/7 nausea and water aversion. I ended up on a drip at one point (which meant I finally got a diagnosis) and I want to avoid a hospital stay this time with covid around!

For anyone that ends up suffering with nausea/vomiting do speak to your gp as there are plenty of meds they can try you on and you don't need a hyperemesis diagnosis to request them. Some gps are more resistant than others but generally if you can make a case that it's affecting your ability to function they will try you on something!

Congratulations to everyone!

2manytattoos · 20/01/2021 13:48

Hi, im 4+2 today, due 27th September 🙂 This is my 3rd baby x

treesall · 20/01/2021 14:47

Welcome @2manytattoos! Congratulations! 3rd baby - you're a pro then! :-)

I am getting really crampy, in both my tummy and back, and particularly in the afternoons. I am constantly thinking AF is on the way. I do remember this from last time but I can't remember how long it lasts for?!

OP posts:
AliceThroughTheLookingGlass · 20/01/2021 14:56

Couple of weeks if I remember right from my first @treesall. They're just getting comfy in there!

treesall · 20/01/2021 15:01

Thanks @AliceThroughTheLookingGlass. Just in time for the nausea to kick in I guess! Joy! Though mine wasn't bad until about 7 weeks before. That said, after miscarrying I will be so grateful even to get to that point, so bring on the cramps and the nausea!!

BeeDavis · 20/01/2021 15:11

Thank you!! I’m impatiently waiting for my fiancé to come home from work to tell him!! We were laid in bed this morning and he asked me when my period was due and I said this Saturday, he said he’d be sad if it did come! Well lucky for him Halo I actually swore at the test this morning because I just couldn’t believe it 😂

I'm going to join. Found out I'm 4-5 weeks pregnant. Pregnant straight after a mc. Had two mc so really hope its third time lucky. I'll hopefully get an early scan at EPU.

Good luck to everyone

2manytattoos · 20/01/2021 17:44

@treesall AF was due Monday, Sunday morning I had cramps for around 45 min so I'm guessing that was implantation, had nothing since.
Had no idea I was pregnant with my first till I was 12 weeks & dont remember any cramping with no 2

russianred · 20/01/2021 18:12

Evening all and a huge congratulations! It’s such an exciting/nerve-wracking time. This is my third pregnancy in the last 5 months, having had two mc - I have got pregnant straightaway each time so a bit unclear on dates at the moment. I have an early scan at the EPU on Friday as my last mc was a suspected c-section ectopic. The balance of feeling hopeful vs not wanting to get my hopes up is really tricky!

treesall · 20/01/2021 18:33

Welcome @IdrisElbow - we are due date buddies, along with @2manytattoos.

Welcome @Trying93. Sorry to hear about your mcs. Looks like there are a few of us here who have had previous losses and feeling anxious.

Welcome @russianred. Will keep everything crossed for you for your scan. I'm sorry you've had such horrible luck, really hoping this time works out for you.
