I am starting this thread a bit early. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got a faint positive, which was much darker today. My due date would be the 29 September, but this is my second child and my first was super late, so am assuming this will really be an October baby.

Hiya everyone, I'm a wee bit earlier than the rest of you due mid sept, wondering if it's ok to join this group and FB, first pregnancy so be great to have people to talk to going through the journey....and save me analysing every twinge and wind pain! Thanks

@pebbleinthesand I work primary and am in school for the next week and then working from home. I don't want to tell my headteacher yet as I find her a bit scary. So I want to wait until at least 12 weeks. My contract is also temporary but I think I will still be eligible for SMP. I am trying to stay away from the kids as much as possible. But it is hard!

Glad to hear that @LauEli, it's such a strange situation isn't it. I haven't seen my parents since Christmas because my dad was so ill with Covid and them having to isolate for so long.

@ttcSam I was so annoyed when I found out. Definitely broke my trust and was really unprofessional after telling me that the only people who he would need to tell would be the deputy and school business manager because of risk assessments.

@BrightonR I'm doing the same when I'm in. They are being told to socially distance and we have few enough kids in that we can. Good luck with your contract and scary head.

Hi can I join? Due date is 4th October and I'm 4+1weeks pregnant with baby number 1. Super excited and surprised it happened so quickly. I got my BFP at 12DPO

I got my Bfp a few days ago and have worked out my due date as 6th October. My first so I'm super nervous. Don't feel any different besides a few mild cramps.

Is anyone else having any cramping or period like pains?

They are similar pains to what I had just after conception (which was my first clue I might be pregnant). Not painful enough to take paracetamol but tend to get worse in then evening. No spotting or anything but o hoped they would have started to subside by now.

Joining tentatively, miscarried in October so trying not to get excited and currently just over thinking the pains and aches.

3 BFPs on three different brand of sticks so definitely pregnant now just got to hope this little one takes roots and grows big and strong!

It seems I would be due around the 4th of October.

I see many of you have had little panic moments I hope you are all ok!

Always a fun one, anyone had cravings yet? I seem to have a overpowering attraction to anything lemony!! Annoyingly lemon meringue keeps coming into my head which is a no no 😭
