Hi all, finding it really hard to keep up with everything, have so much going on. My grandad is 99 and bedridden, he's stopped eating, so doesn't have much time left. My eldest is at hospital today having a series of blood tests to check his growth hormones, plus the usual fun of work, homeschooling him, looking after the younger two. Feel frazzled most of the time.
I'm 20 weeks today, and getting much more movement now, and my husband felt a kick last night, despite the anterior placenta.
We're struggling with names, after 2 boys already. We don't really agree. We have Harry on our shortlist.
I've not had heartburn with any of mine, and all have been born with lots of hair. With my first, he had to have a blood test during labour to check he was OK, which involved a guy sticking his hand up and scratching his head - he joked he was giving him his first haircut!
Re breastpumps, I had a hospital one to express for my first who had a cleft palate so couldn't feed. With my other two I just breastfed them and never needed a pump at all. Just did a bit of hand expressing to get milk for mixing in food at the start of weaning. It depends if you want oh to help with feeds, but the recommendation is not to use bottle at the start to avoid nipple confusion and breast refusal.
@bubblybon20 that's a lovely picture!
@RosieJess91 sorry you have more to worry about, and sorry to hear your dad has pneumonia. Hope he is better soon.
@daisyhrl sorry for your loss, and congratulations! It's a long wait for that 12 week scan, isn't it! Fingers crossed for you.
