Hi
I did a post last night just don't know what to do :-(
I'm 4+5 I think. Clear blue yesterday said 1-2 weeks.
Last night had some red specks of blood then this morning pinkish and red blood. I've attached photos. Literally like my period is starting!

What do I do? I don't even know what to think!

Should I contact anyone?

Thanks xx

Sorry you're going through this - it's completely crap. I had 2 losses and was told to wait both times. The second time I asked if there was a physical reason to wait and grudgingly the Dr said not really. It just makes it a lot easier to know what's going on which could reduce anxiety. If you start TTC straightaway you could get a positive test and not know if it is the HCG going down after the loss or rising from a new PG (although less likely with chemical as the HCG probably didn't get that high). Your dates could be a bit off if you conceive straight away as well - not a problem physically and the PG will get dated at a scan but again could cause some worry if the dates are not as expected.

I'd say it's a personal choice. I wanted to try again as it helped me feel like I was doing something to move forward. It took a few months each time in the end anyway.

Good luck.

I had a v early mc (maybe a chemical?) started bleeding at 5 weeks. I didn't speak to a doctor as they just told me to take a test in a few days and it was negative.

We didn't wait, got pregnant the next month and I'm now 25 wks! Only thing was it made it hard to date it, but like you I used ovulation tests so we kinda knew and the scan confirmed roughly same date.

So you don't always need to wait, if you feel ready x

Hi OP,

I had a MC in Nov 2019, followed by a chemical in Jan 2020 but conceived the next month and carried to term. I had early bleeding that pregnancy too so its important to realise early bleeding doesn't always mean the worst. I've had both so I know this first hand.

I am so sorry this happened to you. It's so hurtful as you get so excited only for the joy to be snatched away a few days later.

It will be the right time next time :)

We going to start trying again this month we feel ok and it's just "one of those things" we are hoping we are more lucky soon 💗

Hi all

Just thought I would update. So we have this..... 😍😍😍 I feel excited happy but so nervous. The line is darker then I got last month with chemical plus on 9dpo had what I think was implantation bleeding was so weird literally pink/red blood when wiped then brown spots then stopped! So hoping I've implanted this time.

I feel like booking an early scan? Would anyone recommend?

Thank you xxx

Aw congratulations!!

If an early scan would make you feel better then you definitely should. Bare in mind there isn't much to see until you're over 6 weeks.

Wishing you luck! 😊

Congratulations. Good luck

I had a chemical in the cycle before this pregnancy, 10+4wk now. I'm on the fence with early scans... we had one with our twins (failed coil pregnancy), it showed them a little behind dates but strong heartbeats and growth caught up by dating scan. Delivered at 38wks, almost 6 years old now.
I had an early scan last year. July 5th had scan that showed baby a little behind on growth again but heartbeat was there, 12th July I held that baby in my hand when mc. I decided to wait for the dating scan this time as it was soul destroying losing one after seeing a hb, I'd not had early scans with other 4 mc's. Doing well so far, less than 2 weeks to scan date.

Congratulations!!

As the @rumples said, if you think it will give you some peace of mind book it for after the 6 week mark. Personally, I would wait until 8 weeks though so there will be definitely something to see.
