@Scotti84 I completely agree with @Curiosity101 . Fingers crossed alls ok. Try not to panic and try get a good night's sleep and hopefully everything settles down for you x

Scotti84 · 05/01/2021 21:08

Thanks guys, everything’s so bloody unknown! I’ll see how things are tomorrow. Appreciate your replies xx hope you’re all doing okay xx

felicityheather · 05/01/2021 21:08

Fingers crossed here too @Scotti84. Am I right in thinking you had a scan recently and they thought they might have seen two sacs? Sometimes an internal scan can dislodge blood etc, it's not an additional risk, it's usually about blood that's pooled above the cervix or something? And is nothing to worry about. Hopefully it's just this. Can you ring back wherever scanned you to discuss with them?

felicityheather · 05/01/2021 21:08

Or also, bleeding in early pregnancy can be perfectly normal!

Scotti84 · 05/01/2021 21:31

@felicityheather yep I did, I didn’t think of that. tomorrow is a bank holiday here but I can call them on Thursday. I still feel the same otherwise so maybe it’s something like that. I’ll try and stay positive and hope for the best! Thank you x

Dallen92 · 05/01/2021 21:48

Hi everyone. Found out I was pregnant New Year’s Eve, the day of the 1st year anniversary of my nanny passing away and turned what should have been a difficult day into the best one. My partner and I are over the moon! Due 5th September I think! So many questions/ feelings, I’m nervous all the time thinking something is going to go wrong Sad. Looking forward to going through the journey with you all! Xx

Hi everyone,

Massive congratulations to you all 😍. I’ve just had a mammoth read through! I got my BFP at 12dpo and confirmed on a digital at 13dpo pregnant 2-3 ☺️. This will be DC3 for us. So anxious! I can’t stop peeing on sticks!!! Ovulation was confirmed with BBT and all being well this baby will be due on 14th September 💕.

@Scotti84 sorry to read about your spotting but as others have said it can be caused by an internal scan or it can be perfectly normal. Hopefully everything will be ok. It’s all such a worry isn’t it!

@Dallen92 ah that’s lovely. Congratulations ☺️

I’ve just requested to join the group ☺️

Ddominikaa · 05/01/2021 23:29

Hello, I’m due on 14th September! I’ve bee. Doing plenty of reading and I can seem to find anywhere if this is totally normal. Over the past few days I’ve been having some cramping today a bit more than usual I feel like I am about to get my period alongside that I’ve been having really bad vaginal dryness. Can anyone help? Is that normal?
Thanks 😘

VNttc · 06/01/2021 07:21

@Ddominikaa the cramping is perfectly normal, it's just your uterus starting to make space :)

I also have the vaginal dryness which I wasn't prepared for because everything I read before said you were likely to feel more wet down there! I've since looked into it and it is perfectly normal too - I even mentioned it to a friend and she'd had exactly the same!

Dallen92 · 06/01/2021 08:25

Just requested to join the group thank you ❤️

Ddominikaa · 06/01/2021 09:11

@VNttc thank you so much I feel a little more relaxed knowing that it is perfectly normal. I had an awful miscarriage at 13 weeks few years ago and had to be hospitalised, I don’t want it to happen again so I’ve been really worried about all my current symptoms.

Krista1991 · 06/01/2021 10:25

Hello.I found out that I am pregnant on Sunday with a very faint line ,today it’s much darker....

I am in shock ,,the baby was unplanned ,but still excited 🥰

I checked my due date is September 19th...

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL 😇😇😇

Birchtree4 · 06/01/2021 12:00

@ddominikaa I got such horrible period like cramps at work last night, proper deep nausea-inducing ones. Was convinced I'd go to toilet and see blood but they settled after about 40 mins and no issues since. So I know how you feel!! As pp said, body going through lots of changes.
How awful re. Your previous miscarriage, no wonder you are so cautious ❤

soph101xxx · 06/01/2021 15:40

Hi all, congratulations! I am due on 10th Sept, 1st pregnancy and terrified something will go wrong😩 I also don't feel at all pregnant! Bit of nausea but that's not uncommon for me x

HighHopes2021 · 06/01/2021 16:17

Hi everyone

I found out I'm pregnant (it'll be my first). As much as I'm happy, I've also felt a bit anxious, cried a lot today. I'm worrying about worrying!! Is it normal to feel up and down?

I've told select people including 3 best friends. two of the three of them don't really seem that bothered and that's not really helped. The calculators I've used say I'm due 7th September. Hope you are all doing well!

HighHopes2021 · 06/01/2021 16:18

I'm also terrified I'm going to do something that harms the baby :(

felicityheather · 06/01/2021 16:27

I'm cramping badly and bleeding lightly. Devastated. You think I'd be used to it with six miscarriages under my belt. I'm at work in the middle of a 12 hour shift. I turned up late because I had an (unrelated) hospital appointment and can't think what to say to leave. My manager isn't in today and there's a particularly old school man covering who is fastidious about leave and hours etc. My husband fell and sprained his ankle and can't drive. My son is with my parents and we were meant to be staying over and now I don't know what to do or say to anyone.

Curiosity101 · 06/01/2021 16:37

@felicityheather I'm so sorry to see your update. 😔💐 Can you tell the manager that your little boy is unwell and you need to leave to collect him because your husband can't drive? Or failing that lie and say you've been sick or something and need to go home cause you still feel queasy? Not that you should have to lie on top of coping with this 😔.

Scotti84 · 06/01/2021 16:43

@felicityheather oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that. I really hope it will be ok. Can you say you need to leave because your husband needs something and he’s injured? Something along those lines? Bollocks to the old guy, he’ll have to accept it. Do what you need to for you. I send you positive thoughts and hope it’s not as it seems xx

@HighHopes2021 I’ve calmed down a bit now but I was the same after I found out. Went from worrying about if the room would be big enough to the fact we don’t have a garden, to money, to work, and then to trying to find so much info as possible about what I should be eating or not eating to give the baby the best start. Then I realised a lot of people do this, people with more money n less money, bigger gardens n no gardens and there are people who eat what they want the whole time and have perfectly healthy babies. I’ve stopped caffeine and lessened chocolate n fatty foods but if I want some I’ll have a small bit n make sure I eat veg or fruits at least 3 times a day. I know it should be five times but I don’t eat that much. I think if you’re just aware of what you do and eat and make sensible choices you’ll be fine. It’s massively overwhelming at first isn’t it but I hope it will calm down for you in a few days xx

Zelda91 · 06/01/2021 16:56

@felicityheather I know it's not the easiest conversation to have, but I would be upfront and say quietly that I'm newly pregnant and am worried about some symptoms I'm facing. That would help you get the right support going forwards if you need it. Also, when they know you're pregnant you get a lot more protection in terms of time off etc.

felicityheather · 06/01/2021 17:40

Thanks all. I told my manager last time I was miscarrying at work, I just couldn't face going through it with someone else. I said I was ill and disappeared a bit sharpish. They'll get over it.

Still bleeding. Not feeling as sick as I have done. Did a pregnancy test when I got home and its darker than yesterday's. I've dumped the toddler on my husband (who got a call and has apparently broken his ankle, can he come back for a boot!) And am hiding in bed with snacks.

I know I just have to wait it out.

How're you doing @Scotti84? Any new bleeding?

clm1987 · 06/01/2021 19:07

Not posted before but I'm due 8 September and having the exact same as many of you. Anxious, weepy, exhausted. I had a MC in September at 6 weeks and have never had a pregnancy go to term so am finding this early part really tough mentally too.

Im thinking of you @felicityheather x

Trying4baby2021 · 06/01/2021 19:11

Hello Grin
I got my BFP on the 1st of Jan 2021, baby due around 14th of September 2021.

I am so excited, this is my first baby! I just hope everything goes ok. I've had 2 chemicals last year both between 4-5 weeks. I am currently 4 weeks and 1 day. What are everyone's symptoms? I've just got sore nipples, veiny boobs and really bad wind in the evenings haha
