Hi everyone,
just hoping to get as many people in one thread as possible. More scope for sharing knowledge, concerns or worries. Wishing everyone the best of luck on this journey.
When I've a minute I will try and tag everyone across the three threads.

Hi everyone.
Hope everyone is ok.

I’m just looking for your opinions/personal experiences. Basically I have had 2 miscarriages previously, the last one was a missed miscarriage didn’t bleed for 4 weeks later, no indication it had failed. Obviously now with this third pregnancy you can imagine I can’t shake the feeling something bad is happening. I had a scan at 6 weeks 4 days because I was really back lower back ache, but the scan shown everything to be fine there was a little heart beat and everything, they told me it must be the hormone changes that’s causing the pain. But now I am suppose to be 8 weeks 4 days and my boobs have been hurting less and my nausea isn’t there really, so I’m worried we’re here again failed the third time. Has anyone had anything similar and it have a positive outcome? I’m nervous to attend the 12 weeks scan to be told it’s failed especially when we had to be alone at the minute and epu told me not to go back unless I bleed.

I'm so sorry @Gamechanger2019

@Lily3107 my symptoms have been really on and off since about 6 weeks. I used to feel sick everyday now I'm hardly ever nauseous and my boobs used to be sooo sore now they're not even a little bit tender. I had a scan at 8+4 the other day and everything was fine. I've even been having period type pains for the past week or so. Try not to worry too much, but if you can get a private scan maybe try to get one in between so you're reassured?

Alittlexmasmagic · 07/01/2021 09:21

@Lily3107 I can only imagine what you've been through. Is there anyone involved with your MMC that you can contact and see if an early scan can be arranged? Alternatively, it might be worth paying for a private one to put your mind at ease.
I'm cautious about these private scan clinics, so make sure you ask around for recommendations x

I’m so sorry to all that have had bad news over the last few days. I hope those that are around you are looking after you and make sure you look after yourselves too xxx

MrsB2019x · 07/01/2021 09:29

@Gamechanger2019 I am so, so sorry. Try and look after yourself 💙

@Lily3107 From what I’ve read symptoms can come and go at around 8/9 weeks and doesn’t mean anything is wrong, I think it’s around this time the placenta starts taking over and reduces some of the strain from you. If you’re worried maybe book a private scan for some reassurance, like PP have said though definitely do your research on which ones to go to x

Lily3107 · 07/01/2021 09:30

Thanks for your reply, that’s how I’ve been feeling too with the period type pains, hopefully I’m like you and we’re ok this time around. I think I will go try get a scan but I’m terrified it’ll be bad news. I feel so run down, headaches and cold like symptoms, I may have a cold but I have had a stuffy nose every since before I found out and a foul taste in my mouth ( I hope these are positive signs) I seen on google you should be able to feel a hard ball type thing that would be my uterus and I sure I felt it a couple of days ago but now I can’t I am possibly over thinking it though. A scan would be best to ease my mind

NotMeekNotObedient · 07/01/2021 09:31

@Lililou @Pixieandpip @ThinnerByDinner @krj2688 & @Gamechanger2019 I'm so sorry to hear your news, sending lots of hugs your way. We are all here if you need support. The stats definitely aren't talked about enough and because we all keep quiet it can be really hard to talk to people in 'real life'.

Lily3107 · 07/01/2021 09:31

Hi, thanks for your reply, what does MMC stand for please? Sorry I’m new to this I’m not sure what all these terms mean x

Alittlexmasmagic · 07/01/2021 10:21

@Lily3107 MMC is missed miscarriage, sorry. I'm thinking that they might help you more, knowing what you've been through.x

No they haven't offered anything and I had my booking appointment Tuesday and she said nothing is offered, if I get bleeding to ring epu but I haven't had bleeding Just got some period like pains, lower back ache which I've had since about 6 weeks on and off. My boobs are tender but not massively only certain positions if I lay on them. I'm going to try ring epu see if they can see me if not maybe I'll get a private one but that's terrifying x

Alittlexmasmagic · 07/01/2021 11:56

@Lily3107 it's so easy for me to say but try and remember every pregnancy is different. I had horrendously sore boobs throughout my first pregnancy, nothing with the last or this one. Friends have had no sickness first time and hyperemesis the second.
Anxiety after loss is totally understandable and every symptom is analysed. Offering a massive hand-hold xx

Hi ladies. Hoping it’s ok for me to join. I’m 7+1 according to my pregnancy app, still waiting for the MW to get in touch. Feeling slightly panicked as first pregnancy and I really know nothing so I think I’ll need a massive handhold through this.

VWLolabunny9119 · 07/01/2021 15:13

I'm so sorry to hear of all the losses on this thread recently. I hope you get the support you need. Be kind to yourself Thanks Xx

I'm in exactly the same position (although only 6+4) I feel like I've known I'm pregnant since conception 😂 I've booked a scan in for 8+2 and I'm literally counting the days till then
littleeggcup · 08/01/2021 11:14

Is anyone else spotting and everything is okay?

Started Monday as brown- had a scan as panicked and all was okay.

Then today it's pinky brown and thick I guess.

I have a cervical erosion but haven't had sex for this to be irritated?? So I'm not sure why it would be bleeding.

I'm panicking and so sick of feeling anxious. Had a miscarriage and ectopic with tube removal last year x

appleaddiction · 08/01/2021 11:31

Sorry to add to the bad news - I had a private scan yesterday evening. Should have been 10+1. There was no heartbeat and the baby measured at about 6 weeks. Big shock. I haven't had any bleeding or any miscarriage symptoms, and I am worried about the health implications of my body having not naturally dealt with this 😢

Good luck to all of you, I wish you all the best 🥰

I'm so sorry to hear this. Please don't worry about your body this exact situation happened to me December 2019 and my body finally emptied itself 2 weeks later and was absolutely fine x
krj2688 · 08/01/2021 11:45

@appleaddiction I'm so sorry for your loss. This happened to me in august. I was 11 weeks but baby was measuring 6 weeks. I opted for medical management in September and I passed everything the same day as taking the tablets. I did have some retained tissue but this came away in october with next period x

MrsB2019x · 08/01/2021 11:47

@appleaddiction I am so sorry 💔 Take care of yourself lovely xx

WinterBabyof89 · 08/01/2021 12:22

@appleaddiction so sorry to hear that, and to the other ladies who have had losses these past few days.

Give yourself time to grieve the loss and take care of yourselves as best you can xx

Miniheart · 08/01/2021 13:16

So sorry @appleaddiction, sending lots of love to you x
