@haidri how have you worked out your due date? Is there any chance that you could have got it wrong and got pregnant 3 weeks later than you thought?

@BananaHammock23 well after a thorough meeting with my midwife when I initially registered my pregnancy, she calculated from the first day of my last period which was 4th November? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Adding myself to the list , been following for a while but feeling too rough to even bother posting hoping not too long left of feeling so rough, I'm 8 weeks 2 days today , no booking appointment til 11 weeks 1 day , is anyone else's this late?

Hi All, may I please join?

I'm due near the end of July, but because it's my first child I expect the arrival early August. I'm currently 10W+2 days.

Very nervous and excited about this baby as I went through a loss at 12 weeks in summer 2020. It was around week 10 when I felt my symptoms going away - less fatigue, less burping, etc. I feel that's happening again now and would love to talk through it with folks as I haven't told anyone in RL. Planning on holding off till week 16 scan.

Does anyone have days they feel no symptoms and then going back to feeling pregnant again? My next scan is at 12W. Scan at 8W showed healthy baby with strong heartbeat.

@surreymum89 mines on Friday at 7 and something. They usually aim for around 8. There's no real harm in it being late but Id be tempted to contact the MW team and make sure that your 12 week scan will be booked ASAP x

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining, I feel a bit more comfortable joining a due date club now!

Bit of background info - I’m 29 and DH is 30, this is baby number 1 but second pregnancy. We had an ectopic pregnancy in April which was managed medically.

Went for an early scan today at what I thought was 7+5 but they have now measured me 8+3. Saw a heartbeat and it was all perfect 🥰 EDD now 13th August ☺️

Silly question but i haven't had my scan yet so how do i know how many weeks I am? i have a rough guess of the conception date and my cycles tend to be much longer than the 28 days (usually 35 days) but not exactly regular!

@DressyGerbera you'd work it out from the start date of your last period. So mine started 6 weeks + 6 days ago. This will give an approx due date and your 12 week scan will be worked out from that. The scan will provide a more accurate due date for further info x

@nano2021 congratulations and welcome along! I know what you mean about the coming and going of symptoms. I've got some emergency tests put by in the cupboard in case I freak out and need to double check that I'm still pregnant! Got a private scan booked in too...can't wait to hear that heartbeat. Glad yours went well x

Hello everyone, I'm a bit late in finding this! I'm 9 weeks and 3 days with my first and I'm due on the 6th August. Been feeling pretty crappy for a few weeks now, nauseas 24/7 and very often sick, now got constipation too 🙄 it's so very glamorous isn't it 😂

I need to stop googling...I think! I've recently got an Apple Watch and noticed my resting heart rate is about 70 bpm.,.google said pregnant woman is usually higher...should I be worried?

@ame88 I doubt you need be worried. Especially not before the placenta is established and the blood flow shared. That said, if you have any concerns raise them with your MW. Google is a scary place.

Looks like the UK is heading into lockdown with Johnson’s address at 8pm. Hope it doesn’t have the same impact on antenatal care that the first caused

Congratulations to all those with new BFPs!!

How is everyone feeling before Johnson’s announcement? I (foolishly) thought that with the news of vaccinations that we were really coming through the worst of it. Now with the new strain, it’s even worse! Worried what that means for antenatal care

@haidri how are you doing? I think the problem with early scans is that it can be so hard to see and measure things that’s it’s hard to be accurate, cos everything is so tiny in there. In mine they think I’m a few days further along than I thought. Did they suggest a rescan in a week or 2? I’ve seen a few threads here where people were measuring small and then 2 weeks later everything had caught up. Might be worth seeing if you can get a referral to the EPU for an NHS scan and hopefully more guidance!

@Thisisbananas3 yeah I'm going in for another scan in about three weeks, wish me luck!
